Revelation 11:7 “And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.”
“And when they shall have finished their testimony,”
They left behind a testimony for the Jews and the world.
“the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit”
Notice that this beast comes out of the bottomless pit.
Do you recall that the bottomless pit was referred to as hell in Revelation 9? Someone is coming out. It’s the beast, also known as the Antichrist, the man of sin.
So here comes the Antichrist coming out of the bottomless pit with his bow and wars against the two witnesses.
Here’s a question, where did this beast come from? He came from hell. Why did he go down to hell? Because he died. During the latter 3.5 years, the beast dies during the abomination of desolation, and the two witnesses show up.
Revelation 17:11 “And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.”
“the beast that was,” so he was there, ‘was’ is a linking verb, meaning existing. He was previously there.
“and is not” he’s currently not there. He’s gone. His existence is gone.
Here’s the explanation: “and goeth into perdition.” See, he went down there. Why? Because he died.
Revelation 13:3 “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
Revelation 13:2 was talking about the beast. In verse 3, he got an injury on his head, and he was wounded to death. He died. But what happened? His deadly wound was healed. So he got shot in the head, went down to the bottomless pit, and guess what? He comes out, he resurrects. This would also make sense if we look at Revelation 13:1.
Revelation 13:1 “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.”
This beast does not come out from the bottomless pit. He comes out from the Mediterranean Sea (this was explained back at Revelation 10 and will be explained further at Revelation 13). We see right here that when the beast first shows up, he can’t just come out from the bottomless pit.
But it shows that in Revelation 11, sometime in the latter 3.5 years, he’s got to come out of the bottomless pit. What’s the explanation? The explanation will have to be that he originally came from the Mediterranean region. Then, he gets killed at Revelation 13, and goes down into the bottomless pit. In Revelation 11, he comes back out of perdition, out of the bottomless pit.
Notice as well in Revelation 6 when they opened the seal, he just came out of nowhere. So it seems to match more this way where the Antichrist is going to have to come out of the Mediterranean region somewhere, then someone’s going to kill him, injure one of his heads that he’s going to go into perdition but then he’s going to come back out, resurrect himself from the dead like Jesus. He’s going to try to imitate Jesus so probably you can do three days and three nights, come out and prove that he is God Almighty Jesus Christ.
“shall make war against them,”
The beast will be fighting and warring with these two witnesses.
“and shall overcome them, and kill them.”
He wins against the two witnesses, and he’s able to kill them.
Revelation 11:8: “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.”
“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city,”
The dead bodies of these two witnesses will be out in public, in the street of the great city. The same context of this great city, we already saw in verse 2, was the holy city. So it’s Jerusalem.
“which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt,”
Notice that this location where the Antichrist is desecrating, it’s going to be known as Sodom. Why? Because the practices of this Satanic system have always been similar to two places: Sodom and Egypt.
Notice that it is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, which means this spirit of Sodom and Egypt is a kind of demonic spirit that has been carried. From the past 2000 years of church history, don’t you see these spirits prevalent even today?
Do you know where it’s prevalent today? In these ‘godly’ translators who love Jesus. No, that’s an evil spirit. That’s the spirit of Egypt, Alexandria Egypt correcting God’s Bible. That’s a demonic spirit. These people who created the modern Bible versions, they’re demon-possessed men. Why? They have the spirit of Egypt. Why do they use the Egyptian texts for the Bible? And if they claim to be spiritual by doing that, then there’s only one spirit that will explain that: the devil.
Back to our main text, we see that Jerusalem is called Sodom and Egypt. If people dig into the conspiracies stuff, they undoubtedly see these two spirits and talk about it, which is why Jerusalem has the same spirit. Sodom and Egypt are within the Jews but that doesn’t mean that they are not God’s chosen people. No, God called it Sodom and Egypt spiritually, but He still calls it the holy city at Revelation 11:2. It’s His holy city that was corrupted by Satanic forces. It’s not that it’s Satan’s city.
“where also our Lord was crucified.”
We know that this is Jerusalem because it’s proven at the latter part of Revelation 11:8. Jesus Christ was crucified in the vicinity of the city of Jerusalem.
A lot of people would like to say that it’s referring to Babylon, not Jerusalem. However, revelation 11 talks about the holy city, while Babylon is never called the holy city. The only people who want to call Babylon the holy city are the Roman Catholic church.
Revelation 21:2 “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
There’s no doubt that the term ‘holy city’ is connected to Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is a holy city that was originally from God, and He told you that the Antichrist forces would corrupt it, but it’s not forever. In people’s minds, they think that these Jews are forever damned and forever cast aside. No, it’s temporary. It’s only until this timeline of tribulation is up, and then God takes back the city.
Some people would like to say that they think Babylon is not Rome. It’s Jerusalem. No, that’s what Satan wants you to think. Satan wants you to think that Babylon is God’s chosen people, the Jews. Satan’s secret church in Rome has been the enemy camp throughout the past 2000 years and even now.
Revelation 18:21 “And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.”
Notice what God does with the city. Didn’t the Bible say that God is going to restore the holy city again in the future? But Babylon is no more found at all, so Babylon cannot be Jerusalem. Anyone teaching this has an anti-semitic demonic spirit that should be avoided like the plague.
Revelation 11:9: “And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.”
“And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half,”
Every person of different tribes, languages, and nations worldwide will see their dead bodies lie.
“and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.”
They’re going to let their dead bodies lie on the streets, and they’re not going to bury them.
Wow, isn’t this supposed to be a world of peace and love? No, it’s only peace and love on their terms. If you’re considered terrorists and hate groups, they can do what they want with you because you’re outside the love and peace.
