Jeremiah 38:11 - and took So Ebedmelech with him and went into the house of the king under the treasury and took and old cast clouts and old rotten rags and let them down to Jeremiah into the dungeon by cords

Jeremiah 38:12 - said And Ebedmelech the Ethiopian And Jeremiah Put now these old cast clouts and rotten rags under thine armholes under the cords did And Jeremiah

Jeremiah 38:13 - So they drew up Jeremiah with cords and took him up out of the dungeon remained Jeremiah in the court of the prison

Jeremiah 38:15 - said Then Jeremiah unto Zedekiah If I declare it unto thee wilt thou not surely it unto thee wilt thou not surely and if I give thee counsel wilt thou not hearken

Jeremiah 38:17 - Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah Then said the LORD the God of hosts the God of Israel If thou wilt assuredly If thou wilt assuredly princes unto the king of Babylon's and thou shalt live then thy soul and this city shall not be burned with fire and thou shalt live and thine house
