So as we know the woman clothed with the sun, eleven stars and a moon on its feet is referring to the nation of Israel.
Another wonder in Heaven is about the great red dragon as mentioned in Revelation 12:3. He has seven heads and ten horns. There are actually meanings assigned to its physical features and descriptions.
Revelation 12:3-4 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
From the passage, we could also see the dragons’ heads wearing seven crowns, each crown represents a king or kingdom that Satan has used.
So who is this seven-headed dragon and ten-horned Antichrist?
With all these seven heads attached to one body, we know that this represents a one-world kingdom.
Revelation 17:9-10 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
These 7 Kings are worldwide empire kings. And the timeline is applying to history and also to the future, not just one particular timeline. Psalm 74:13-14 has proof of that.
Luke 4:5-6 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
This passage from Luke was Satan indicating the one world Kingdom under his reign, and he could give it to whomsoever he desired.
Genesis 10:8-10 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord : wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
As we can see, in ancient times, Satan first gave Nimrod the power and authority to set up this one world political system. Babel was mentioned as one of his kingdoms, which we know Babylon after that as one of the one-world empire. Following the sequence, the second crown or Kingdom should go to Pharaoh in Egypt.
Ezekiel 29:3-4 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord God ; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.
The third one was Sennacherib, Assyria as mentioned in Isaiah 10:12. Verse 19 talked about Sennacherib as a form of Antichrist.
Jeremiah 51:34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.
Fourth, Nebuchadrezzar from Babylon who built up the ruins from Nimrod in Babel. We can clearly see the connection here .
Daniel 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
Fifth, king of Persia. This is not just referring to the regular King of Persia, but he has a connection with Satan. Darius or Cyrus was just a human form of King, but the real king was the devil himself.
In Revelation 12 we know that the Great Red Dragon was Satan, and he has these seven Kings in the form of human representing himself.
Daniel 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
Sixth, when Alexander the Great comes in as the ruler of Greece, he represented the human king, but still, we know that spiritually Satan was still the ultimate king.
2 Thessalonians 2: 3,7 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
Seventh, following Greece, the next political influence from Rome, Caesar which is still significant till today from all the Roman Catholic system that we see. Back then during Paul’s time, Caesar was considered as an ideal candidate to pave the way for the Antichrist who would take over the one-world empire.
So, these seven Kings across different timelines made up the seven heads of the dragon.
Now let’s look at the ten horns and what do they actually mean
Revelation 13:1-2 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
This beast is referring to the Antichrist, not Satan. This time there are ten crowns on top of the ten horn , each horn has a crown, which represent a King, as mentioned in Revelation 17:12.
Let’s figure out who these ten kings are
The horn is born from the head, hence it will have the same kingdom as the head. Daniel 8:20-21 provided such a similar indication and interpretation. We know that the seven horns originated from the seven kingdoms of the seven heads, so how about the remaining three horns?
Daniel 7:3 and Revelation 13:1 are talking about the same beast that is likened to four different types of beasts, lion, bear, leopard, and a humongous terrifying animal.
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
The passage above is referring to the Antichrist. These three kingdoms that come in after Babylon are Persia, Greece, and Rome because Daniel 7:1 indicated that King Daniel had a prophetic dream about it.
The Lion was referring to Persia, the bear was Greece, and the leopard was Rome.
The fourth beast which was mentioned earlier was literally referring to the Antichrist at the tribulation and he’s a combination of the lion, bear, and leopard. To be more specific, its the mouth of the lion, body of the leopard, and feet of the bear.
However, we know that Darius, Alexander the Great, and Caesar, as well as their kingdoms were ancient kingdoms. Hence from a modern-day perspective, the future kingdoms or candidates have roots from these ancient kingdoms and animals.
Daniel 7:3-5 and Revelation 13:1-3 provided proof of this. In this case, England would best fit the description of a lion. The bear would be Russia, as Russia’s famous symbol from the communist Soviet Union today is the bear. Leopard would be the United States of America.
