As Bible-believers, we constantly debunk replacement theology; an argument by the heretics that the church replaces the nation of Israel that is blatant.
We believe God has His own program with the chosen nation of Israel by simply understanding His words literally from the scripture, unlike the heresies who go refer to ancient writings traditions who are anti-semitic.
Besides, the fact that they keep covering all the conspiracies of Jewish elites by pointing out at the Hollywood, the bankers, then the Rothschild’s family, and automatically assume that this is an evil nation and they cannot be God’s chosen people.
Nonetheless, the Bible; especially in the Old Testament clearly says that the Jewish who are God’s chosen nation lived more wickedly than other nations. It is no doubt that Satan has already set out to destroy God’s people.
In the New Testament, it is apparent that the Jewish nation rejected their Messiah Jesus Christ. In fact, their religion, Judaism has criticized Jesus during the first advent.
1 Thessalonians 2:14 “For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:”
Notice that the Jews are the ones who always persecute the Christian Church even at the early century. Satan will do everything in his ability to turn God’s people away from Him into wickedness, this is even apparent among Christians nowadays, that includes Bible believers. This is so that Satan can challenge God through destructing His chosen vessels.
1 Thessalonians 2:15-16 “Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.”
Replacement theologists will use this passage as a proof text that Israel is forever discarded because ‘wrath is come upon them to the uttermost, claiming that the nation is forever gone.
These are other verses in the Bible that thoroughly cover all basis of replacement theology.
Psalms 44:4-9
1 Corinthians 16:22
Matthew 21:18-20
Luke 13:6-9
Matthew 8:10-12
Isaiah 24:5-6
The replacement theology proponents argue that God cast aside the Israelites forever because they fail to follow the conditions of His covenant with them. What is true is that they do fail to abide by God’s covenant, and God does cast them aside, but only temporarily because the Bible also says that God will come back and deal with them, and eventually they will repent.
None of the verses above ever says anything about being cast aside forever. Instead, God did the uttermost. Just look at the past 2000 years of history, God caused them to lose a nation for thousands of years. God also raised a lot of nations to persecute the Jews, for example, the Adolf Hitler massacre was an obvious one.
Restoration Of Israel
We acknowledge despite the Jewish being cast aside, and having to go through all the persecutions, but God is going to restore them again.
There is no way we can replace the nation of Israel, because we Christians are known as the spiritual nation, and they are the physical ones, completely different in how God deals with both nations. Why else would God require them to be water baptized to cleanse away their filthiness, and had to observe laws that their physical bodies have to practice?
Ezekiel 36:17-19 “Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman. Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it: And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.”
God did forsake them and judge them.
Ezekiel 36:20-22 “And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the Lord, and are gone forth out of his land. But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went. Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord God; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.”
But we see here that as wicked as they are, God still shows mercy towards the nation of Israel, and He is doing it not for their sake, but because of His holy name.
Ezekiel 36:23-24 “And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.”
Verse 24 obviously says that God will restore the nation of Israel. This passage clearly shows God’s dealing with the Jewish, Christian did not even exist back then. This passage in Ezekiel has already been fulfilled, because in 1948, God began His restoration process, and it is ongoing.
Now let’s look at other verses that debunk the replacement theologies proponents.
Verses About Israelites Being Rejected But Restored
Isaiah 11:10-13, rejected but restored.
Daniel 9:24-27, rejected and punished because of sins, but restored.
Romans 11:25-28, rejected and punished because of sins, God calls them the enemies, but eventually restores them.
Hebrews 8:8-12, God makes a brand new covenant because they broke the old covenant.
Ezekiel 16:2,59-60,62 “Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, For thus saith the Lord God; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant. Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant. And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord:”
This again shows that the restoration process has begun and is ongoing, a new covenant will soon be established by God with the Jews. God will set up His kingdom here on earth, which will only happen after the tribulation, and it has nothing to do with Christians because we would have been raptured by then.
The fact that the nation of Israel being wicked back then and at present days does not change how God chooses to deal with them. Even the Anti-Christ will also come from the Jewish nation. Not to mention Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus back then was also Jewish so to speak.
