We’re talking about Noah’s Ark and why God put 7 creatures and 2 creatures in the ark.

Genesis 7:2: “Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.”

So God already gave you an explanation at verse three. It’s to keep the seed alive.

So then for unclean animals, why would He do two, not one? Simple, to create seed. The Bible mentions male and female.

Because it’s unclean, it shows how much God doesn’t really approve of this; that’s the reason why He will have them at a smaller number, two. But then with clean animals, because He likes those better, He wants it at a higher number.

But now here’s the question.

Why is it that he would want seven to be clean?

The verse actually explained it to you already.

Genesis 7:4 “For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.”

God did that to represent seven days. When God created the whole universe, why did he stop at seven?

Genesis 2:2-3 “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.”

So seven is representing God’s number or completion.

Dr. Gene Kim would highly recommend people to read the booklet Seven Sevens by Dr. Peter S. Ruckman. He goes to the beginning of creation, to the timing of the rapture, timing of the millennium and second advent. He puts it all in a clock based on seven, which is very interesting.

2 Peter 3: “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Seventh-day Adventist claim this is a passage proving that we had the Sabbath. Adam and Eve at the Garden of Eden couldn’t have possibly said we shall observe the Sabbath day here since it’s Saturday. They walked and talked with God every day!

If we think of this to God, then it makes sense with 2 Peter 2 and Genesis chapters 6 and 7.

So with 7, 7, 7, he mentions right here: Because to God, He has something else in mind. It’s something sanctified, completed, special to Him. Now, when you base it off of 2 Peter chapter 3, a day to the Lord is a thousand years, and a thousand years is to one day.

In Daniel’s 70th week, it is not a literal 70 weeks time frame.

So, think about this throughout the past 6,000 years of human history, almost 6,000 years. That means we are really close. This is why we cannot have a date setting for the Rapture.

Revelation 21-22 tell us that time shall be no more after the millennium because the millennium would be the seven thousandth year. And that would be 7.000 years and God completes everything by 7.

That’s why we can predict a rough estimate about the rapture right here.
