Meaning Of Fallen Angel

  1. Angels who fell from heaven
Notice that Lucifer fell from heaven. When Lucifer fell, God prepared hell for Lucifer.

Isaiah 14:12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”
Isaiah 14:15 “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”

By understanding that fact, we know that there were definitely some angels who followed along with him.
When Lucifer fell from heaven, hell was created for him and there were definitely some angels that accompanied him as well.

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:”

When the angels fell, they left their habitation to dwell on the earth.

Jude 6 “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”

cf Genesis 6:1-2 “And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.”

  2. Fallen angels are not demons or devils.
    a. Other pastors use this verse to teach that fallen angels are demons or devils, but the passage never said that. Satan has his government leaders, devils, kings, sinners. Are they all equated as one? No. Satan has different categories working under him.

Revelation 12:7 “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,”

    b. Angels are likened to men

Genesis 19:1 “And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;”
Genesis 19:5 “And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.”
Judges 13:9-11 “And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah her husband was not with her. And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day. And Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, I am.”

Devils/Demons are likened to unclean animals.

Revelation 16:13-14 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
Revelation 18:2 “And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”

Origin

  1. The earliest time we see the fallen angels aka sons of God mentioned was when God made the world at the beginning of creation.

Job 38:4 “Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.”

Job 38:6-7 “Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?”

  2. Universal flood.

2 Peter 3:4-7 “And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”

This flood mentioned here is a universal flood, it is in context with the beginning of creation, not during the days of Noah.
In v5, notice that it mentions the earth and heavens (plural) so this isn’t just a worldwide flood, this is a universal flood that covered all the universe.
In v6, someone perished. If Adam did not exist at that time yet then who is it? It has to be sons of God (Job 38:7).
In v7, ‘the heavens and the earth which are now’: there was a change in the whole universe. That’s why it makes sense that in Genesis 1 God created everything in the universe because He has to restore all of creation.

  3. When Lucifer fell, he was living on earth. It’s not just heaven his domain, he also had a kingdom ruling.
‘I will ascend into heaven’: he was below heaven
‘exalt my throne above the stars of God’: he was below the stars
‘ascend above the heights of the clouds’: he was below the cloud, he was living on earth.

Isaiah 14:12-14 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”

When Lucifer fell, this also includes the fallen angels. There were fallen angels who join with him so they were drowned because they joined Lucifer’s side.

  4. Doctrine of the Genesis Gap: there is a gap between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2.
In v1, God created the heaven and earth. If you recall the other scriptures, the sons of God were present there and Lucifer was on the earth. In v2 there was chaos and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. The spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Where did all the water come from if we don’t believe that there was a universal flood before Adam?
In v26, notice that man now takes over the world where the fallen angels fell.
In v28, ‘replenish’: so they were refilling inhabitants that were before them.

Genesis 1:1-3 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

Genesis 1:28 “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

Outerspace And Fallen Angels

Alien means somebody foreign that comes outside of the human realms who enters into our territory.

  1. Aliens are real. Life space is real.
Satan was cast out from heaven to earth. From up in heaven, through the outer space realm, he lands on earth.

Revelation 12:7-9 “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

There is life and there is traveling in space. There is no doubt some kind of beings who are going through space when they’re communicating through heaven and earth.

Job 1:6 “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.”
Job 2:1 “Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.”

  2. UFOs
These 3 passages have cases of unidentified flying objects

Ezekial 1:18 “As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.”
Zechariah 5:1-2 “Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll. And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.”
2 Kings 2:11 “And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.”

  3. Fallen angels come down to earth and they take women
    a. Mythology

Genesis 6:1-4 “And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”

    b. Sci-fi
The kingdom is a future kingdom, it’s sometime in the future. Whoever the iron and clay are, they are intermingling together. The clay is referring to humans, we were created from clay, the dust of the ground. Whoever iron is, they are not humans, they are other beings.

Daniel 2:42-44 “And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

Workings Of Fallen Angels

  1. Davy Jones + Bermuda Triangles
Fallen angels can inhabit underneath the sea. It also mentions a kind in the bottomless pit, his name is Apollyon.
That’s how they got the idea of Davy Jones locker that comes up from the bottom of the sea as well as Bermuda Triangle.
Remember that hell was prepared for the devil and his angels at the bottom. The closest location we can get to hell is the ocean area.

Revelation 9:1-3 “And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.”
Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”

  2. Fallen angels had sex with:
    a. humans

Genesis 6:4 “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”

Results of intermingling with humans: cyclops, Hercules, heroes
    b. animals

Jude 6-7 “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

    i. ‘strange flesh’: strange means different, other)
When the Bible talks about flesh, it’s referring to humans. Then what other types of flesh can you think of, if not human? There’s only one category: animals.
ii. ‘Even as’: even as means in a similar way
So, in a similar way like Sodom and Gomorrah intermingled with animals, that means in v6 when the angels kept not their first estate but left their habitation, in a similar way, intermingled with animals.

  3. Lineages (Giants)

Numbers 13:33 “And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”
1 Samuel 17:4 “And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.”
1 Chronicles 20:6 “And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot: and he also was the son of the giant.”

The fallen angels carried on their lineages after Noah’s flood.
    There are 3 theories:
    1. other fallen angels mingled with man again
    2. these creatures were offsprings through Ham’s seed so maybe there was something going on with Ham and Noah.
    3. they could have survived somehow

  4. Angels do not have blood.
How can they reproduce? How are they able to mingle with humans unless they took the blood from humans and put it within themselves.

1 Corinthians 15:50 “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”

It’s interesting where we get legends and stories about blood-sucking vampires or war of the worlds where there’s a machine that sucks out all the blood of human.
Mythology: myths came from an original source somewhere, from there everyone fabricates their stories. Ideas don’t come out of thin air.

  5. Fallen angels from space, dwelt on earth and were worshipped as gods.
    a.

Acts 14:12 “And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.”
Acts 19:35 “And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?”

    b. Idols were not built until after the flood. The first mention of idols is after the flood.

Genesis 31:19 “And Laban went to shear his sheep: and Rachel had stolen the images that were her father’s.”

Before the flood, they knew there was only one God. But then they start to make idols after the flood as if they’re making commemoration of those beings that just passed away.

Genesis 4:26 “And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.”

This is also where pagans get the idea of their wicked practices of intermingling and sexual perversion. People don’t learn a sexual action unless they learned it from something or somebody.

Leviticus 20:16 “And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
Leviticus 20:23 “And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.”

Doom Of Fallen Angels

They had their first doom at Psalms 82:5-7. That’s when the foundations of the earth were out of course and that’s when they died.

Their second doom is Genesis 6:1-2, 13. They died at the flood of Noah.

Their third doom is 2 Peter 2:4-5. When they died out by those two floods, their souls went to hell. More specifically, it’s called Tartarus. A third of them will lose the war in heaven and they’re going to fall to earth as rulers and that will happen at the Tribulation (Rev 12:7-10, 13:4, 17:12). Those fallen gods, so-called all-powerful beings who are worshipped by mankind and elites will be judged not just by God but by Christians as well (Jude 6 cf 1 Corinthians 6:3).

The final doom, they will burn in the lake of fire forever (Matt 25:41).
