I saw

הֲוֵ֛ית

in my vision

בְּחֶזְוִ֖י

by

עִם

night

לֵֽילְיָ֑א

and behold

וַאֲר֗וּ

the four

אַרְבַּע֙

winds

רוּחֵ֣י

of the heaven

שְׁמַיָּ֔א

strove

מְגִיחָ֖ן

sea

לְיַמָּ֥א

upon the great

רַבָּֽא׃

And four

וְאַרְבַּ֤ע

beasts

חֵיוָן֙

great

רַבְרְבָ֔ן

came up

סָלְקָ֖ן

from

מִן

the sea

יַמָּ֑א

diverse

שָׁנְיָ֖ן

another

דָּֽא׃

from

מִן

another

דָּֽא׃

The first

קַדְמָיְתָ֣א

was like a lion

כְאַרְיֵ֔ה

the wings

גַפַּ֜יהּ

 

דִּֽי

and had eagle's

נְשַׁ֖ר

 

לַ֑הּ

 

חָזֵ֣ה

I beheld

הֲוֵ֡ית

till

עַד֩

 

דִּי

thereof were plucked

מְּרִ֨יטוּ

the wings

גַפַּ֜יהּ

and it was lifted up

וּנְטִ֣ילַת

from

מִן

the earth

אַרְעָ֗א

upon

וְעַל

the feet

רַגְלַ֙יִן֙

and a man's

אֱנָ֖שׁ

and made stand

הֳקִימַ֔ת

heart

וּלְבַ֥ב

and a man's

אֱנָ֖שׁ

was given

לַֽהּ׃

And behold

וַאֲר֣וּ

beast

חֵיוָה֩

another

אָחֳרִ֨י

a second

תִנְיָנָ֜ה

like

דָּמְיָ֣ה

to a bear

לְדֹ֗ב

side

וְלִשְׂטַר

itself on one

חַד֙

and it raised up

ק֥וּמִֽי

and it had three

וּתְלָ֥ת

ribs

עִלְעִ֛ין

in the mouth

בְּפֻמַּ֖הּ

of it between

בֵּ֣ין

the teeth

שִׁנַּ֑יהּ

thus

וְכֵן֙

of it and they said

אָמְרִ֣ין

 

לַ֔הּ

and it raised up

devour

אֲכֻ֖לִי

בְּשַׂ֥ר

I beheld

and lo

וַאֲר֤וּ

אָֽחֳרִי֙

like a leopard

כִּנְמַ֔ר

had also four

וְאַרְבְּעָ֤ה

of a fowl

which had upon

גַּבַּ֑יהּ

heads

רֵאשִׁין֙

the beast

לְחֵ֣יוְתָ֔א

and dominion

וְשָׁלְטָ֖ן

בָּאתַ֣ר

this

דְּנָה֩

 

חָזֵ֨ה

I saw

הֲוֵ֜ית

visions

בְּחֶזְוֵ֣י

in the night

לֵֽילְיָ֗א

and behold

וַאֲר֣וּ

beast

חֵֽיוָתָא֙

a fourth

רְֽבִיעָיָ֡ה

dreadful

דְּחִילָה֩

and terrible

וְאֵֽימְתָנִ֨י

and strong

וְתַקִּיפָ֜א

exceedingly

יַתִּ֗ירָה

teeth

וְשִׁנַּ֨יִן

 

דִּֽי

iron

פַרְזֶ֥ל

 

לַהּ֙

and it had great

רַבְרְבָ֔ן

it devoured

אָֽכְלָ֣ה

and brake in pieces

וּמַדֱּקָ֔ה

the residue

וּשְׁאָרָ֖א

with the feet

בְּרַגְלַ֣יהּ

and stamped

רָפְסָ֑ה

of it and it

וְהִ֣יא

was diverse

מְשַׁנְּיָ֗ה

from

מִן

beast

חֵֽיוָתָא֙

that were before

קָֽדָמַ֔יהּ

horns

וְקַרְנַ֥יִן

it and it had ten

I considered

הֲוֵ֜ית

בְּקַרְנָא

and behold

וַאֲל֨וּ

אָחֳרִ֤י

זְעֵירָה֙

there came up

סִלְקָ֣ת

among

בֵּֽינֵיהֵ֔ון

whom there were three

וּתְלָ֗ת

horn

the first

קַדְמָ֣יָתָ֔א

plucked up by the roots

אֶתְעֲקַ֖רָו

of

מִן

before

קֳדָמַ֑יהּ

and behold

וַאֲל֨וּ

like the eyes

כְּעַיְנֵ֤י

like the eyes

כְּעַיְנֵ֤י

of man

אֲנָשָׁא֙

horn

בְּקַרְנָא

and a mouth

I beheld

and the hair

of the beasts

they had their dominion

visions

in the night

the clouds

עֲנָנֵ֣י

of heaven

שְׁמַיָּ֔א

one like the Son

כְּבַ֥ר

of man

אֱנָ֖שׁ

came

אָתֵ֣ה

I saw

the Ancient

עַתִּ֤יק

and came

and they brought him near

dominion

שָׁלְטָ֤ן

and glory

וִיקָ֣ר

and a kingdom

וּמַלְכוּתֵ֖הּ

that all

וְכֹ֣ל

people

עַֽמְמַיָּ֗א

nations

אֻמַיָּ֛א

and languages

וְלִשָּׁנַיָּ֖א

 

לֵ֣הּ

should serve

יִפְלְח֑וּן

dominion

שָׁלְטָ֤ן

is an everlasting

נִדְנֶ֑ה

and the visions

וְחֶזְוֵ֥י

of my head

רֵאשִׁ֖י

troubled

יְבַהֲלֻנַּֽנִי׃

I came near

קִרְבֵ֗ת

unto

עַֽל

one

חַד֙

him

מִנֵּ֖הּ

them that stood by

קָ֣אֲמַיָּ֔א

the truth

וְיַצִּיבָ֥א

and asked

אֶבְעֵֽא

him

מִנֵּ֖הּ

unto

עַֽל

of all

כָּל

this

דְּנָ֑ה

So he told

וַאֲמַר

 

לִ֕י

the interpretation

וּפְשַׁ֥ר

of the things

מִלַּיָּ֖א

me and made me know

יְהוֹדְעִנַּֽנִי׃

These

אִלֵּין֙

beasts

חֵיוָתָ֣א

great

רַבְרְבָתָ֔א

 

דִּ֥י

which

אִנִּ֖ין

are four

אַרְבְּעָ֥ה

are four

אַרְבְּעָ֥ה

kings

מַלְכִ֖ין

which shall arise

יְקוּמ֥וּן

out of

מִן

the earth

אַרְעָֽא׃

shall take

וִֽיקַבְּלוּן֙

the kingdom

מַלְכוּתָא֙

But the saints

קַדִּישֵׁ֖י

of the most High

עֶלְיוֹנִ֑ין

and possess

וְיַחְסְנ֤וּן

the kingdom

מַלְכוּתָא֙

even for

וְעַ֖ד

and ever

עָלְמַיָּֽא׃

even for

וְעַ֖ד

and ever

עָלְמַיָּֽא׃

and ever

עָלְמַיָּֽא׃

אֱדַ֗יִן

I would

צְבִית֙

know the truth

לְיַצָּבָ֔א

of

עַל

beast

חֵֽיוְתָא֙

the fourth

רְבִיעָ֣יְתָ֔א

 

דִּֽי

which was

הֲוָ֥ת

diverse

שָֽׁנְיָ֖ה

from

מִן

all

כָּלְּהֵ֑ון

dreadful

דְּחִילָ֣ה

the others exceeding

יַתִּ֗ירָה

whose teeth

שִׁנַּ֤יהּ

 

דִּֽי

were of iron

פַרְזֶל֙

and his nails

וְטִפְרַ֣יהּ

 

דִּֽי

of brass

נְחָ֔שׁ

which devoured

אָֽכְלָ֣ה

brake in pieces

מַדֲּקָ֔ה

the residue

וּשְׁאָרָ֖א

with his feet

בְּרַגְלַ֥יהּ

And of

וְעַל

even of that horn

וְקַרְנָ֨א

the ten

עֲשַׂר֙

that were in his head

בְרֵאשַׁ֔הּ

וּנְפַ֥לָו

and judgment

וְדִינָ֣א

was given

יְהִ֔ב

that the saints

קַדִּישִֽׁין׃

of the most High

עֶלְיוֹנִ֑ין

and the time

וְזִמְנָ֣א

מְטָ֔ה

the kingdom

וּמַלְכוּתָ֖א

possessed

הֶחֱסִ֥נוּ

that the saints

קַדִּישִֽׁין׃

shall be

תֶּהֱוֵ֣א

which shall be diverse

תִשְׁנֵ֖א

kingdom

and shall devour

וְתֵאכֻל֙

all

earth

אַרְעָ֔א

and shall tread it down

וּתְדוּשִׁנַּ֖הּ

and break it in pieces

וְתַדְּקִנַּֽהּ׃

וְקַרְנַיָּ֣א

And the ten

עַשְׂרָ֥ה

this kingdom

מַלְכוּתָ֔ה

And the ten

shall rise

And he shall speak

the saints

וּלְקַדִּישֵׁ֥י

of the most High

עֶלְיוֹנִ֖ין

and shall wear out

יְבַלֵּ֑א

and think

וְיִסְבַּ֗ר

to change

לְהַשְׁנָיָה֙

and laws

וְדָ֔ת

and they shall be given

וְיִתְיַהֲב֣וּן

into his hand

בִּידֵ֔הּ

עַד

a time

עִדָּֽן׃

and the dividing

וּפְלַ֥ג

But the judgment

וְדִינָ֖א

shall sit

יִתִּ֑ב

his dominion

וְשָׁלְטָנֵ֣הּ

and they shall take away

יְהַעְדּ֔וֹן

to consume

לְהַשְׁמָדָ֥ה

and to destroy

וּלְהוֹבָדָ֖ה

it unto

עַד

the end

סוֹפָֽא׃

And the kingdom

מַלְכ֣וּת

and dominion

שָׁלְטָ֣נַיָּ֔א

and the greatness

וּרְבוּתָ֗א

And the kingdom

מַלְכ֣וּת

תְּח֣וֹת

and all

וְכֹל֙

heaven

שְׁמַיָּ֔א

shall be given

יְהִיבַ֕ת

to the people

לְעַ֖ם

of the saints

קַדִּישֵׁ֣י

of the most High

עֶלְיוֹנִ֑ין

And the kingdom

מַלְכ֣וּת

And the kingdom

מַלְכ֣וּת

is an everlasting

עָלַ֔ם

and dominion

שָׁלְטָ֣נַיָּ֔א

 

לֵ֥הּ

shall serve

יִפְלְח֖וּן

and obey

וְיִֽשְׁתַּמְּעֽוּן׃

me and my countenance

וְזִיוַי֙

changed

יִשְׁתַּנּ֣וֹן

in me

עֲלַ֔י

of the matter

וּמִלְּתָ֖א

in my heart

בְּלִבִּ֥י

but I kept

נִטְרֵֽת׃
