all the evil

that I have brought

הֵבֵ֙אתִי֙

 

עַל

upon Jerusalem

יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם

 

וְעַ֖ל

 

כָּל

and upon all the cities

עָרֵ֣י

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֑ה

 

וְהִנָּ֤ם

they are a desolation

חָרְבָּה֙

and behold this day

הַיּ֣וֹם

 

הַזֶּ֔ה

 

וְאֵ֥ין

 

בָּהֶ֖ם

and no man dwelleth

יוֹשֵֽׁב׃

Because

מִפְּנֵ֣י

of their wickedness

רָעָתָ֗ם

 

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

which they have committed

עָשׂוּ֙

to provoke me to anger

לְהַכְעִסֵ֔נִי

 

לָלֶ֣כֶת

to burn incense

לְקַטֵּ֔ר

and to serve

לַעֲבֹ֖ד

gods

לֵאלֹהִ֣ים

other

אֲחֵרִ֑ים

 

אֲשֶׁר֙

 

לֹ֣א

whom they knew

יְדָע֔וּם

 

הֵ֖מָּה

 

אַתֶּ֥ם

not neither they ye nor your fathers

וַאֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃

Howbeit I sent

וְשָׁלֹ֖חַ

 

אֲלֵיכֶם֙

Oh do

תַעֲשׂ֗וּ

אָזְנָ֔ם

to turn

לָשׁ֖וּב

from their wickedness

מֵרָֽעָתָ֑ם

 

לְבִלְתִּ֥י

to burn no incense

קַטֵּ֖ר

gods

לֵאלֹהִ֥ים

unto other

אֲחֵרִֽים׃

was poured forth

וַתִּתַּ֤ךְ

Wherefore my fury

חֲמָתִי֙

and mine anger

וְאַפִּ֔י

and was kindled

וַתִּבְעַר֙

in the cities

of Judah

and in the streets

וּבְחֻצ֖וֹת

of Jerusalem

the LORD

Wherefore commit

עֹשִׂ֜ים

evil

רָעָ֤ה

ye this great

גְדוֹלָה֙

 

אֶל

against your souls

נַפְשֹׁ֣תֵכֶ֔ם

to cut off

לְהַכְרִ֨ית

 

לָכֶ֧ם

from you man

אִישׁ

and woman

וְאִשָּׁ֛ה

child

עוֹלֵ֥ל

and suckling

וְיוֹנֵ֖ק

out

מִתּ֣וֹךְ

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֑ה

 

לְבִלְתִּ֛י

to leave

הוֹתִ֥יר

 

לָכֶ֖ם

you none to remain

In that ye provoke me unto wrath

לְהַכְעִסֵ֙נִי֙

Behold I will set

שָׂ֥ם

my face

against you for evil

לְרָעָ֑ה

and to cut off

וּלְהַכְרִ֖ית

all Judah

יְהוּדָֽה׃

And I will take

וְלָקַחְתִּ֞י

the remnant

שְׁאֵרִ֣ית

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֗ה

 

אֲשֶׁר

that have set

שָׂ֨מוּ

their faces

פְנֵיהֶ֜ם

to go

לָב֣וֹא

בְּאֶ֧רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרַ֣יִם

to sojourn

there and they shall all be consumed

therefore is your land

אַ֠רְצְכֶם

וּמְבַקֵּ֥שׁ

נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃

 

כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר

Behold I will give

נָתַ֜תִּי

Zedekiah

צִדְקִיָּ֣הוּ

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֗ה

and into the hand

בְּיַ֨ד

of Nebuchadrezzar

נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֧ר

king

מֶֽלֶךְ

of Babylon

בָּבֶ֛ל

his enemy

אֹיְב֖וֹ

and that sought

וּמְבַקֵּ֥שׁ

his life

נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃
