O thou deceitful

גַּם

God

אֵל֮

shall likewise destroy

יִתָּצְךָ֪

thee for ever

לָ֫נֶ֥צַח

he shall take thee away

יַחְתְּךָ֣

and pluck thee out

וְיִסָּחֲךָ֣

of thy dwelling place

מֵאֹ֑הֶל

and root thee out

וְשֵֽׁרֶשְׁךָ֙

of the land

מֵאֶ֖רֶץ

of the living

חַיִּ֣ים

סֶֽלָה׃

also shall see

וְיִרְא֖וּ

The righteous

צַדִּיקִ֥ים

and fear

וְיִירָ֗אוּ

 

וְעָלָ֥יו

and shall laugh

יִשְׂחָֽקוּ׃

 

הִנֵּ֤ה

Lo this is the man

הַגֶּ֗בֶר

 

לֹ֤א

that made

יָשִׂ֥ים

not God

אֱלֹהִ֗ים

his strength

מָֽע֫וּזּ֥וֹ

but trusted

וַ֭יִּבְטַח

in the abundance

בְּרֹ֣ב

of his riches

עָשְׁר֑וֹ

and strengthened

יָ֝עֹ֗ז

himself in his wickedness

בְּהַוָּתֽוֹ׃

 

וַאֲנִ֤י׀

olive tree

כְּזַ֣יִת

But I am like a green

רַ֭עֲנָן

in the house

בְּבֵ֣ית

of God

אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים

I trust

בָּטַ֥חְתִּי

in the mercy

בְחֶֽסֶד

of God

אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים

for ever

עוֹלָ֥ם

and ever

וָעֶֽד׃

I will praise

אוֹדְךָ֣

thee for ever

לְ֭עוֹלָם

 

כִּ֣י

because thou hast done

עָשִׂ֑יתָ

it and I will wait

וַאֲקַוֶּ֖ה

on thy name

שִׁמְךָ֥

 

כִֽי

for it is good

ט֝֗וֹב

 

נֶ֣גֶד

before thy saints

חֲסִידֶֽיךָ׃
