Truly my soul

נַפְשִׁ֑י

from him cometh my salvation

יְשׁוּעָתִֽי׃

He only is my rock

and my salvation

I shall not be greatly

How long will ye imagine mischief

תְּהֽוֹתְת֣וּ

against a man

אִישׁ֮

ye shall be slain

תְּרָצְּח֪וּ

 

כֻ֫לְּכֶ֥ם

wall

כְּקִ֥יר

all of you as a bowing

נָט֑וּי

fence

גָּ֝דֵ֗ר

shall ye be and as a tottering

הַדְּחוּיָֽה׃

 

אַ֤ךְ

from his excellency

מִשְּׂאֵת֨וֹ׀

They only consult

יָעֲצ֣וּ

to cast him down

לְהַדִּיחַ֮

they delight

יִרְצ֪וּ

in lies

כָ֫זָ֥ב

with their mouth

בְּפִ֥יו

they bless

יְבָרֵ֑כוּ

inwardly

וּ֝בְקִרְבָּ֗ם

but they curse

יְקַלְלוּ

אַ֣ךְ

thou only upon God

לֵ֭אלֹהִים

wait

דּ֣וֹמִּי

My soul

נַפְשִׁ֑י

מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ

for my expectation

תִּקְוָתִֽי׃

 

אַךְ

 

ה֣וּא

He only is my rock

צ֭וּרִי

and my salvation

וִֽישׁוּעָתִ֑י

he is my defence

מִ֝שְׂגַּבִּ֗י

 

לֹ֣א

I shall not be moved

In God

בֵּֽאלֹהִֽים׃

is my salvation

and my glory

וּכְבוֹדִ֑י

the rock

צוּר

of my strength

עֻזִּ֥י

and my refuge

מַ֝חְסִ֗י

Trust

בִּטְח֘וּ

 

ב֤וֹ

 

בְכָל

in him at all times

עֵ֨ת׀

ye people

עָ֗ם

pour out

שִׁפְכֽוּ

before

לְפָנָ֥יו

your heart

לְבַבְכֶ֑ם

him God

אֱלֹהִ֖ים

is a refuge

מַחֲסֶה

 

לָּ֣נוּ

for us Selah

סֶֽלָה׃

 

אַ֤ךְ׀

lighter than vanity

מֵהֶ֥בֶל

 

בְּנֵֽי

Surely men

אָדָם֮

of high degree are a lie

כָּזָ֪ב

 

בְּנֵ֫י

and men

אִ֥ישׁ

in the balance

בְּמֹאזְנַ֥יִם

to be laid

לַעֲל֑וֹת

 

הֵ֝֗מָּה

lighter than vanity

מֵהֶ֥בֶל

they are altogether

יָֽחַד׃

Trust

תִּבְטְח֣וּ

not in oppression

בְעֹשֶׁק֮

in robbery

וּבְגָזֵ֪ל

 

אַל

and become not vain

תֶּ֫הְבָּ֥לוּ

if riches

חַ֤יִל׀

 

כִּֽי

increase

יָנ֑וּב

 

אַל

set

תָּשִׁ֥יתוּ

not your heart

לֵֽב׃

אַחַ֤ת׀

hath spoken

דִּבֶּ֬ר

God

לֵאלֹהִֽים׃

have I heard

Also unto thee O Lord

אֲדֹנָ֥י

belongeth mercy

חָ֑סֶד

אַתָּ֨ה

for thou renderest

תְשַׁלֵּ֖ם

to every man

לְאִ֣ישׁ

according to his work

כְּֽמַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃
