אַתָּ֗ה

early will I seek

thirsteth

is better

ט֣וֹב

Because thy lovingkindness

חַ֭סְדְּךָ

than life

מֵֽחַיִּ֗ים

my lips

שְׂפָתַ֥י

shall praise

יְשַׁבְּחֽוּנְךָ׃

 

כֵּ֣ן

Thus will I bless

אֲבָרֶכְךָ֣

thee while I live

בְחַיָּ֑י

in thy name

בְּ֝שִׁמְךָ

I will lift up

אֶשָּׂ֥א

my hands

כַפָּֽי׃

 

כְּמ֤וֹ

as with marrow

חֵ֣לֶב

and fatness

וָ֭דֶשֶׁן

shall be satisfied

תִּשְׂבַּ֣ע

My soul

נַפְשִׁ֑י

lips

וְשִׂפְתֵ֥י

thee with joyful

רְ֝נָנ֗וֹת

shall praise

יְהַלֶּל

and my mouth

פִּֽי׃

 

אִם

When I remember

זְכַרְתִּ֥יךָ

 

עַל

thee upon my bed

יְצוּעָ֑י

on thee in the night watches

בְּ֝אַשְׁמֻר֗וֹת

and meditate

אֶהְגֶּה

 

בָּֽךְ׃

 

כִּֽי

 

הָיִ֣יתָ

Because thou hast been my help

עֶזְרָ֣תָה

 

לִּ֑י

therefore in the shadow

וּבְצֵ֖ל

of thy wings

כְּנָפֶ֣יךָ

will I rejoice

אֲרַנֵּֽן׃

followeth hard

דָּבְקָ֣ה

My soul

נַפְשִׁ֣י

after

אַחֲרֶ֑יךָ

 

בִּ֝֗י

upholdeth

תָּמְכָ֥ה

thee thy right hand

יְמִינֶֽךָ׃

 

וְהֵ֗מָּה

to destroy

לְ֭שׁוֹאָה

But those that seek

יְבַקְשׁ֣וּ

my soul

נַפְשִׁ֑י

it shall go

יָ֝בֹ֗אוּ

into the lower parts

בְּֽתַחְתִּיּ֥וֹת

of the earth

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

They shall fall

יַגִּירֻ֥הוּ

 

עַל

by the sword

יְדֵי

 

חָ֑רֶב

they shall be a portion

מְנָ֖ת

for foxes

שֻׁעָלִ֣ים

 

יִהְיֽוּ׃

But the king

וְהַמֶּלֶךְ֮

shall rejoice

יִשְׂמַ֪ח

in God

בֵּאלֹ֫הִ֥ים

by him shall glory

יִ֭תְהַלֵּל

 

כָּל

every one that sweareth

הַנִּשְׁבָּ֣ע

 

בּ֑וֹ

 

כִּ֥י

shall be stopped

יִ֝סָּכֵ֗ר

but the mouth

פִּ֣י

of them that speak

דֽוֹבְרֵי

lies

שָֽׁקֶר׃
