draweth nigh

הִגִּֽיעוּ׃

I am counted

נֶ֭חְשַׁבְתִּי

 

עִם

with them that go down

י֣וֹרְדֵי

into the pit

ב֑וֹר

 

הָ֝יִ֗יתִי

I am as a man

כְּגֶ֣בֶר

 

אֵֽין

that hath no strength

אֱיָֽל׃

among the dead

בַּמֵּתִ֗ים

Free

חָ֫פְשִׁ֥י

 

כְּמ֤וֹ

like the slain

חֲלָלִ֨ים׀

that lie

שֹׁ֥כְבֵי

in the grave

קֶ֗בֶר

 

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

 

לֹ֣א

whom thou rememberest

זְכַרְתָּ֣ם

 

ע֑וֹד

 

וְ֝הֵ֗מָּה

from thy hand

מִיָּדְךָ֥

no more and they are cut off

נִגְזָֽרוּ׃

Thou hast laid

שַׁ֭תַּנִי

pit

בְּב֣וֹר

me in the lowest

תַּחְתִּיּ֑וֹת

in darkness

בְּ֝מַחֲשַׁכִּ֗ים

in the deeps

בִּמְצֹלֽוֹת׃

 

עָ֭לַי

lieth hard

סָמְכָ֣ה

Thy wrath

חֲמָתֶ֑ךָ

 

וְכָל

me with all thy waves

מִ֝שְׁבָּרֶ֗יךָ

upon me and thou hast afflicted

עִנִּ֥יתָ

סֶּֽלָה׃

Thou hast put away

הִרְחַ֥קְתָּ

mine acquaintance

מְיֻדָּעַ֗י

 

מִ֫מֶּ֥נִּי

from me thou hast made

שַׁתַּ֣נִי

me an abomination

תוֹעֵב֣וֹת

 

לָ֑מוֹ

unto them I am shut up

כָּ֝לֻ֗א

 

וְלֹ֣א

and I cannot come forth

אֵצֵֽא׃

Mine eye

עֵינִ֥י

mourneth

דָאֲבָ֗ה

 

מִנִּ֫י

by reason of affliction

עֹ֥נִי

I have called

קְרָאתִ֣יךָ

LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

 

בְּכָל

daily

י֑וֹם

upon thee I have stretched out

שִׁטַּ֖חְתִּי

 

אֵלֶ֣יךָ

my hands

כַפָּֽי׃

to the dead

הֲלַמֵּתִ֥ים

Wilt thou shew

תַּעֲשֶׂה

wonders

פֶּ֑לֶא

 

אִם

shall the dead

רְ֝פָאִ֗ים

arise

יָק֤וּמוּ׀

and praise

יוֹד֬וּךָ

thee Selah

סֶּֽלָה׃

be declared

הַיְסֻפַּ֣ר

in the grave

בַּקֶּ֣בֶר

Shall thy lovingkindness

חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ

or thy faithfulness

אֱ֝מֽוּנָתְךָ֗

in destruction

בָּאֲבַדּֽוֹן׃

be known

הֲיִוָּדַ֣ע

in the dark

בַּחֹ֣שֶׁךְ

Shall thy wonders

פִּלְאֶ֑ךָ

and thy righteousness

וְ֝צִדְקָתְךָ֗

in the land

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ

of forgetfulness

נְשִׁיָּֽה׃

 

וַאֲנִ֤י׀

 

אֵלֶ֣יךָ

O LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

But unto thee have I cried

שִׁוַּ֑עְתִּי

and in the morning

וּ֝בַבֹּ֗קֶר

shall my prayer

תְּֽפִלָּתִ֥י

prevent

תְקַדְּמֶֽךָּ׃

 

לָמָ֣ה

LORD

יְ֭הוָה

why castest thou off

תִּזְנַ֣ח

my soul

נַפְשִׁ֑י

why hidest

תַּסְתִּ֖יר

thou thy face

פָּנֶ֣יךָ

 

מִמֶּֽנִּי׃

I am afflicted

עָ֘נִ֤י

 

אֲנִ֣י

and ready to die

וְגוֵֹ֣עַ

from my youth

מִנֹּ֑עַר

up while I suffer

נָשָׂ֖אתִי

thy terrors

אֵמֶ֣יךָ

I am distracted

אָפֽוּנָה׃

 

עָ֭לַי

goeth over

עָבְר֣וּ

Thy fierce wrath

חֲרוֹנֶ֑יךָ

me thy terrors

בִּ֝עוּתֶ֗יךָ

have cut me off

צִמְּתוּתֻֽנִי׃

סַבּ֣וּנִי

like water

כַ֭מַּיִם

 

כָּל

me daily

הַיּ֑וֹם

they compassed

הִקִּ֖יפוּ

 

עָלַ֣י

me about together

יָֽחַד׃

hast thou put far

הִרְחַ֣קְתָּ

 

מִ֭מֶּנִּי

Lover

אֹהֵ֣ב

and friend

וָרֵ֑עַ

from me and mine acquaintance

מְֽיֻדָּעַ֥י

into darkness

מַחְשָֽׁךְ׃
