Revelation 16:12 “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.”
The sixth angel pours out his vial upon the great river Euphrates and the water was dried up. Somewhere over the east, these kings will come out.
The kings of the east are prepared, so God pours out the judgment on Euphrates, this matches up directly with Revelation 9:14.
Revelation 9:14-16 “Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.”
The four angels were loose to slay a third of the world, that’s a lot. Look at the number of the army, that’s approximately 200 million. Where do they get these horsemen, this army from? Revelation 16:12 shows that it’s from the east. At the east direction, think about countries that have the numbers. The east is the largest population number, there’s China, Russia, India etc. They’ve got millions and millions to make up for it.
This sixth vial is near the end of the tribulation but if you rewind to Revelation 9:13, this is the sixth trumpet. That’s when the same event happens, these two events are tied together. That’s why you can’t make the book of Revelation a book of a nice chronological order.
Because it’s a revelation, God is revealing different ways of looking at it. God is showing John so many different points of view that are everywhere.
When you read prophecy throughout the Old Testament, you do know as a matter of fact, biblical rule of hermeneutics, you can’t put that in chronological sequence or order, it’s all over. You can jump timelines, you can rewind timelines.
So ‘that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared’, they’re preparing, why? Look at verse 13 and 14, it’s so those kings can be in battle against God. They have an army that matches with Revelation 9.
This is a theory of the possible sequence of how things are going if we were to combine Revelation 9 and 16 together:
- The angel pours out the sixth vial that dries up the Euphrates river.
- As soon as the Euphrates river dries up, Revelation 9 happens, because that river is dried up, you can open up hell, and that’s how the four angels can come out of there.
- Pastor mentioned the four angels of Tartarus that could be siding up with China and Russia.
- There could be four fallen beings that come out of hell and they assemble China and all the other countries of the east and they have the numbers, so this army comes out and wipes out a third of the world.
- If the Antichrist is ruling over the world, then this army is actually hurting the Antichrist kingdom.
Why would that happen? Remember Revelation 6, there are still some nations who would not submit to the United Nations. We’re already seeing that right now, other countries not complying with how the EU or UN is doing things. A lot of people thought about Russia, China, the other communist allies and this also includes its Muslim allies.
That’s why Gog and Magog will fit either a Muslim area or a communist area. So then these four fallen angels come out of hell and they empower the kings of the east by either demon possession and there’s something spiritual going on where they transform or they give them their own demonic armies, or there’s some kind of hybridization that’s going on, mingling with technology, biology and demons. So these three could possibly happen because when you read Revelation 9, it’s not a normal army of 200 million.
The Antichrist, he’s ruling over the world. Conquering and to conquer. Revelation 6 says so.
Next, let’s see what happens in Daniel 11. We know that the king of the north is referring to the Antichrist, which is a Syrian region, and he’s Jewish and Roman Catholic by religion. That’s why he can meet all 3 groups of Jew, Islam and Catholicism because of ethnicity and religion.
Daniel 11:36-38 these verses are referring to the Antichrist.
Daniel 11:46 “But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.”
So he’s got the Muslims involved here. The Antichrist does have a good number of Muslims who will be on his side even though there might be some Muslims who will go rogue on him, which explains his assassination.
Daniel 11:47 “But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.”
Something happens at the east. The Antichrist is conquering and to conquer, but he gets tidings out of the north. Remember he’s the king of the north and that’s Syria. So something goes on over with his homeland and then something goes on at the east where a third of the world gets wiped out. So he’s trying to go back get it back in order again. So what happens is, he goes back there to get it back it order and when he gets back in order, that’s why when you look at Revelaton 16, they’re all in it together at Armageddon to battle against God.
Revelation 16:13-14 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
In verse 13, notice the Antichrist, Satanic trinity, false prophets and dragon get involved to summon all those kings of the east.
In verse 14, they go around the kings of the East, but not just the East but the whole world. They’re summoning the whole world to battle against God at Armageddon.
So that’s Pastor Gene’s theory on the sequence of what’s happening at Revelation 9, 16 and Daniel 11.
