What are the Beliefs of World Mission Church?
They’re going to mention that there is God, the mother. Their argument is “Well, look, you believe God is the Father. If God is a father, if there is a father, what’s logical? So there should be a mother. It makes sense. Why else would there be a father if there’s no mother?”
Here’s another thing, how can this father exist then without a grandfather? Not only that, you have to have a grandmother too; otherwise, how can this father exist? If there’s a father and mother, let’s be logical. They live for eternity too so there should be somewhere where there’s a twice-removed cousin then. We’ve got a father, a mother, and a couple of kids. They are going to be lonely so we might as well put a pet dog with that. This is their logic: how can a father exist without a mother?
Do you know why that’s a ridiculous argument? It’s very simple. Why do you not believe in twice-removed cousin, a grandmother grandfather? There’s nothing in the Bible that mentions about the mother God. God doesn’t need this (mother) either to be a father. Why are you restricting the power of God? He doesn’t need familial relationship to become a father. Out of breath of His mouth, He produced children like that. You need a mother? That’s poor logic.
Is there a ‘Queen of Heaven’?
Here’s another argument. God is supposed to be the king of heaven. If He is the king of heaven, and there’s a mother God, she should be the queen of heaven. That’s Semiramis.
Jeremiah 7:18 “The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.”
God is not happy in the above verse. Obviously, there’s no queen of heaven. ‘I never said queen of heaven’, they might say. Isn’t God the king of heaven? If they agree yes, then you’re going to have to say that shouldn’t the mother be the queen of heaven? If there’s a king, (let’s use their logic), there must be a queen. That’s actually poor logic.
Jeremiah 44 is the same thing. It condemns this notion of the queen of heaven. We’ve got to watch out for this World Mission Society church. They are a cult, a horrendous and evil cult. We have to understand that. There’s no such belief but that ever came out for the past 2000 years of history.
Who is the Wife of God?
Ephesians 5:31 “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”
Notice that it talks about God and His wife. This is how they prove mother God, when they prove that God has a wife. By jumping that God has a wife, you assume there’s a mother God.
Who is the wife? The Christian church. ‘Let’s worship mother God and then you tell that World Mission Society, you bow down and worship me, because I am the wife of God’.
I have a whole bunch of verses right here but I’m not going to look at all of them. I will write these down for you so that you can use these to debunk these people. They are Matthew 12:50, Mark 3:35.
Do you know why there’s such a thing called like a wife or mother, so to speak?
Matthew 12:50 “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”
The ‘mother’ is the saint, the church. It’s not a separate figure.
Is Jerusalem the ‘Mother God’?
Let’s also look at Galatians 4:26 and Revelations 21:9-10. These are their favorite passages.
Galatians 4:26 “But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all”
We’ve got a problem here. So then this ‘mother God’ is this Jerusalem. So they are claiming that that is their Mama.
Revelation 21:9-10 “And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,”
Notice that this New Jerusalem is our mother God. When you show them verses where the Christian is the mother, the only way they can stop you is trying to find verses where this mother, this wife figure is separate from the saint. Notice in Galatians 4 and Revelations 21, it seems to show a separation from the saint; the saint is not the New Jerusalem. The saint is told there’s your mother.
It’s easy to debunk. Is Jerusalem a person or a place? It’s a place. Do you know why Jerusalem is known to be our mother? Because as Russian might say, ‘Mother Russia, our mother country, our mother homeland’. So Jerusalem is our mother homeland. It also shows why there’s a connection with God’s wife here. Because these people are living in there.
America voted for Donald Trump. America is a country, and it’s a place that consisted of people. When we say that, the place is connected to the person; the person is connected to the place.
God is the Only Male that Can Save Us
Pastor Kim has so many verses (John 14:6, Isaiah 43:10, Revelation 9:1-2, Psalms 68:20, Jude 24-25). If God the mother is someone we have to turn to for salvation, my question is, why are there so many verses that shows that God is a male, not a female? God is male, who is the only person you have to turn to for salvation.
1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
You’ll notice here, does it say man or woman? Man. Do we need a mother to turn to for salvation?
Acts 4:10 “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.”
Acts 4:11-12 “This the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
When they pull you up, that you have to get saved through this mother kind of deity, you pull Acts 4:10-12. God is a man, not a woman.
