יְהוָ֗ה

and for the footstool

וְלַֽהֲדֹם֙

upon his feet

רַגְלֵ֣י

of our God

אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ

and had made ready

וַֽהֲכִינ֖וֹתִי

for the building

לִבְנֽוֹת׃

But God

וְהָֽאֱלֹהִים֙

said

unto me Thou shalt not build

תִבְנֶ֥ה

בַ֖יִת

for my name

לִשְׁמִ֑י

because thou hast been a man

And he said

unto me Solomon

שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה

him to be my son

לְבֵ֔ן

 

הֽוּא

he shall build

יִבְנֶ֥ה

my house

בֵיתִ֖י

and my courts

וַחֲצֵֽרוֹתָ֑י

 

כִּֽי

for I have chosen

בָחַ֨רְתִּי

לִי֙

him to be my son

Now therefore in the sight

לְעֵינֵ֨י

and in the audience

וּבְאָזְנֵ֣י

of our God

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֑ם

וְדִרְשׁ֔וּ

for all the commandments

מִצְוֹ֖ת

of the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

לְמַ֤עַן

that ye may possess

תִּֽירְשׁוּ֙

and leave it for an inheritance

Be strong

חֲזַ֤ק

and of good courage

וֶֽאֱמַץ֙

and do

וַֽעֲשֵׂ֔ה

it fear

תִּירָ֖א

 

וְאַל

not nor be dismayed

תֵּחָ֑ת

 

כִּי֩
