unto him I have heard

שָׁ֠מַעְתִּי

thy prayer

תְּפִלָּֽתְךָ֣

 

וְאֶת

and thy supplication

תְּחִנָּֽתְךָ֮

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that thou hast made

הִתְחַנַּ֣נְתָּה

before

לְפָנַי֒

me I have hallowed

הִקְדַּ֗שְׁתִּי

 

אֶת

this house

הַבַּ֤יִת

 

הַזֶּה֙

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

which thou hast built

בָּנִ֔תָה

to put

לָֽשׂוּם

my ~

שְׁמִ֥י

there for

עַד

ever

עוֹלָ֑ם

 

וְהָי֨וּ

and mine eyes

עֵינַ֧י

and mine heart

Then I will establish

וַהֲקִ֨מֹתִ֜י

for ever

לְעֹלָ֑ם

There shall not fail

וּבְנֵיכֶם֙

מֵֽאַחֲרַ֔י

and will not keep

and my statutes

חֻקֹּתַ֔י

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

which I have set

נָתַ֖תִּי

before

לִפְנֵיכֶ֑ם

you but go

וַֽהֲלַכְתֶּ֗ם

and serve

וַֽעֲבַדְתֶּם֙

gods

אֱלֹהִ֣ים

other

אֲחֵרִ֔ים

and worship

וְהִשְׁתַּֽחֲוִיתֶ֖ם

 

לָהֶֽם׃

Then will I cut off

וְהִכְרַתִּ֣י

 

אֶת

Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל

 

מֵעַ֨ל

of my sight

פָּנָ֑י

of the land

הָֽאֲדָמָה֙

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

which I have given

נָתַ֣תִּי

 

לָהֶ֔ם

 

וְאֶת

them and this house

הַבַּ֙יִת֙

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

which I have hallowed

הִקְדַּ֣שְׁתִּי

for my ~

לִשְׁמִ֔י

will I cast out

מֵעַ֣ל

of my sight

וְהָיָ֧ה

Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל

shall be a proverb

לְמָשָׁ֥ל

and a byword

וְלִשְׁנִינָ֖ה

among all people

הָֽעַמִּֽים׃

And at this house

וְלַבַּ֥יִת

 

הַזֶּה֙

 

יִֽהְיֶ֣ה

which is high

עֶלְי֔וֹן

 

כָּל

every one that passeth

עֹבֵ֥ר

 

עָלָ֖יו

by it shall be astonished

יִשֹּׁ֣ם

and shall hiss

וְשָׁרָ֑ק

and they shall say

וְאָֽמְר֗וּ

Why hath the LORD

יְהוָה֙

 

כָּ֔כָה

thus unto this land

לָאָ֥רֶץ

And at this house

וְלַבַּ֥יִת

And they shall answer

וְאָֽמְר֗וּ

 

עַל֩

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

Because they forsook

עָֽזְב֜וּ

 

אֶת

the LORD

יְהוָה֙

gods

בֵּֽאלֹהִ֣ים

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

who brought forth

הוֹצִ֣יא

 

אֶת

their fathers

אֲבֹתָם֮

out of the land

of Egypt

מִצְרַיִם֒

and have taken hold

וַֽיַּחֲזִ֙קוּ֙

and have worshipped

הֶ֣עָרִ֔ים

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

בְּעֵינָֽיו׃

And he said
