us wherewith we shall send

נְשַׁלְּחֶ֥נּוּ

it to his place

לִמְקוֹמֽוֹ׃

And they said

וַיֹּֽאמְר֗וּ

 

אִֽם

If ye send away

תְּשַׁלְּח֤וּ

 

אֶת

the ark

אֲר֨וֹן

of the God

אֱלֹהֵ֤י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙

עַכְבְּרֵיכֶ֗ם

that mar

הַמַּשְׁחִיתִם֙

and from off your land

and ye shall give

וּנְתַתֶּ֛ם

from off you and from off your gods

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֖ם

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

Wherefore then do ye harden

it upon the cart

הָ֣עֲגָלָ֔ה

 

וְאֵ֣ת׀

And they of Bethshemesh

שֶׁ֔מֶשׁ

were reaping

קֹֽצְרִ֥ים

harvest

their wheat

חִטִּ֖ים

in the valley

בָּעֵ֑מֶק

and they lifted up

וַיִּשְׂא֣וּ

 

אֶת

their eyes

עֵֽינֵיהֶ֗ם

and saw

לִרְאֽוֹת׃

the ark

הָ֣אָר֔וֹן

and rejoiced

וַֽיִּשְׂמְח֖וּ

and saw

And the cart

הָֽעֲגָלָ֔ה

a burnt offering

עֹלָ֖ה

unto the LORD

And the Levites

וְהַלְוִיִּ֞ם

took down

הוֹרִ֣ידוּ׀

the ark

אֲר֣וֹן

of the LORD

לַֽיהוָֽה׃

and the coffer

הָֽאַרְגַּ֤ז

 

אֲשֶׁר

And when the five

וַֽחֲמִשָּׁ֥ה

lords

סַרְנֵֽי

of the Philistines

had seen

רָא֑וּ

it they returned

וַיָּשֻׁ֥בוּ

to Ekron

עֶקְר֖וֹן

the same day

בַּיּ֥וֹם

 

הַהֽוּא׃

 

וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙

טְחֹרֵ֣י

And these are the golden

הַזָּהָ֔ב

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר
