destruction

darkness

σκότει

a thief

should overtake

καταλάβῃ·

πάντες

καθεύδωμεν

let us watch

γρηγορῶμεν

be sober

νήφωμεν

sleep

καθεύδουσιν

in the night

they that be drunken

μεθυσκόμενοι

in the night

νυκτὸς

are drunken

μεθύουσιν·
