הִקְטִ֑ירוּ

burnt offerings

וְעֹלָה֙

 

לֹֽא

הֶעֱל֣וּ

in the holy

בַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ

place unto the God

לֵֽאלֹהֵ֖י

Wherefore the wrath

קֶ֣צֶף

of the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

and Jerusalem

וִירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

and he hath delivered

וַיִּתְּנֵ֤ם

 

לְזַֽוֲעָה֙

to astonishment

לְשַׁמָּ֣ה

and to hissing

וְלִשְׁרֵקָ֔ה

 

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר

 

אַתֶּ֥ם

as ye see

רֹאִ֖ים

with your eyes

בְּעֵֽינֵיכֶֽם׃

 

וְהִנֵּ֛ה

have fallen

נָֽפְל֥וּ

For lo our fathers

אֲבוֹתֵ֖ינוּ

by the sword

בֶּחָ֑רֶב

and our sons

וּבָנֵ֨ינוּ

and our daughters

וּבְנוֹתֵ֧ינוּ

and our wives

עַתָּ֖ה

 

אַל

be not now negligent

לְשִׂמְחָ֔ה

and they bowed their heads

וַֽיִּקְּד֖וּ

and worshipped

וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוֽוּ׃

Then Hezekiah

יְחִזְקִיָּ֜הוּ

and said

Now ye have consecrated

מִלֵּאתֶ֤ם

 

יֶדְכֶם֙

of the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

come near

גֹּ֧שׁוּ

and bring

וַיָּבִ֤יאוּ

sacrifices

זְבָחִ֣ים

and thank offerings

וְתוֹד֔וֹת

into the house

לְבֵ֣ית

of the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

and bring

וַיָּבִ֤יאוּ

And the congregation

הַקָּהָל֙

sacrifices

זְבָחִ֣ים

and thank offerings

וְתוֹד֔וֹת

 

וְכָל

and as many as were of a free

נְדִ֥יב

heart

לֵ֖ב

burnt offerings

עֹלֽוֹת׃

 

וַיְהִ֞י

And the number

מִסְפַּ֣ר

וַֽיְחַזְּק֞וּם

wherefore their brethren
