Publish

הַשְׁמִ֙יעוּ֙

 

עַל

and in the palaces

אַרְמְנ֖וֹת

at Ashdod

בְּאַשְׁדּ֔וֹד

 

וְעַֽל

and in the palaces

אַרְמְנ֖וֹת

in the land

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרָ֑יִם

and say

וְאִמְר֗וּ

Assemble

הֵאָֽסְפוּ֙

 

עַל

yourselves upon the mountains

הָרֵ֣י

of Samaria

שֹׁמְר֔וֹן

and behold

וּרְא֞וּ

tumults

מְהוּמֹ֤ת

the great

רַבּוֹת֙

in the midst

בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ

thereof and the oppressed

וַעֲשׁוּקִ֖ים

in the midst

בְּקִרְבָּֽהּ׃

 

וְלֹֽא

For they know

יָדְע֥וּ

not to do

עֲשׂוֹת

right

נְכֹחָ֖ה

saith

נְאֻם

the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

who store

הָאֽוֹצְרִ֛ים

up violence

חָמָ֥ס

and robbery

וָשֹׁ֖ד

in their palaces

בְּאַרְמְנֽוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃

 

לָכֵ֗ן

 

כֹּ֤ה

Therefore thus saith

אָמַר֙

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֔ה

An adversary

צַ֖ר

there shall be even round about

וּסְבִ֣יב

the land

הָאָ֑רֶץ

and he shall bring down

וְהוֹרִ֤יד

 

מִמֵּךְ֙

thy strength

עֻזֵּ֔ךְ

shall be spoiled

וְנָבֹ֖זּוּ

from thee and thy palaces

אַרְמְנוֹתָֽיִךְ׃

 

כֹּה֮

Thus saith

אָמַ֣ר

the LORD

יְהוָה֒

 

כַּאֲשֶׁר֩

be taken out

יִנָּצְל֞וּ

As the shepherd

הָרֹעֶ֜ה

of the mouth

מִפִּ֧י

of the lion

הָאֲרִ֛י

two

שְׁתֵּ֥י

legs

כְרָעַ֖יִם

 

א֣וֹ

or a piece

בְדַל

of an ear

אֹ֑זֶן

 

כֵּ֣ן

be taken out

יִנָּצְל֞וּ

so shall the children

בְּנֵ֣י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל

that dwell

הַיֹּֽשְׁבִים֙

in Samaria

בְּשֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן

in the corner

בִּפְאַ֥ת

of a bed

מִטָּ֖ה

and in Damascus

וּבִדְמֶ֥שֶׁק

in a couch

עָֽרֶשׂ׃

Hear

שִׁמְע֥וּ

ye and testify

וְהָעִ֖ידוּ

in the house

בְּבֵ֣ית

of Jacob

יַֽעֲקֹ֑ב

saith

נְאֻם

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֥י

GOD

יְהוִ֖ה

the God

אֱלֹהֵ֥י

of hosts

הַצְּבָאֽוֹת׃

 

כִּ֗י

That in the day

בְּי֛וֹם

that I shall visit

וּפָֽקַדְתִּי֙

the transgressions

פִשְׁעֵֽי

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

 

עָלָ֑יו

that I shall visit

וּפָֽקַדְתִּי֙

 

עַל

of the altar

הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

 

בֵּֽית

of Bethel

אֵ֔ל

shall be cut off

וְנִגְדְּעוּ֙

and the horns

קַרְנ֣וֹת

of the altar

הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

and fall

וְנָפְל֖וּ

to the ground

לָאָֽרֶץ׃

And I will smite

וְהִכֵּיתִ֥י

and the houses

בָּתִּ֥ים

the winter

הַחֹ֖רֶף

 

עַל

and the houses

בָּתִּ֥ים

with the summer

הַקָּ֑יִץ

shall perish

וְאָבְד֞וּ

and the houses

בָּתִּ֥ים

of ivory

הַשֵּׁ֗ן

shall have an end

וְסָפ֛וּ

and the houses

בָּתִּ֥ים

and the great

רַבִּ֖ים

saith

נְאֻם

the LORD
