שְׁלֹשָׁה֙

transgressions

פִּשְׁעֵ֣י

of Moab

מוֹאָ֔ב

 

וְעַל

and for four

אַרְבָּעָ֖ה

 

לֹ֣א

I will not turn away

אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ

 

עַל

the punishment thereof because he burned

שָׂרְפ֛וֹ

the bones

עַצְמ֥וֹת

of the king

מֶֽלֶךְ

of Edom

אֱד֖וֹם

into lime

לַשִּֽׂיד׃

But I will send

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי

a fire

אֵ֣שׁ

and Moab

מוֹאָ֔ב

and it shall devour

וְאָכְלָ֖ה

the palaces

אַרְמְנ֣וֹת

of Kerioth

הַקְּרִיּ֑וֹת

shall die

וּמֵ֤ת

with tumult

בְּשָׁאוֹן֙

and Moab

מוֹאָ֔ב

with shouting

בִּתְרוּעָ֖ה

and with the sound

בְּק֥וֹל

of the trumpet

שׁוֹפָֽר׃

And I will cut off

וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י

the judge

שׁוֹפֵ֖ט

from the midst

מִקִּרְבָּ֑הּ

 

וְכָל

all the princes

שָׂרֶ֛יהָ

thereof and will slay

אֶהֱר֥וֹג

 

עִמּ֖וֹ

thereof with him saith

אָמַ֥ר

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

כֹּ֚ה

For three

שְׁלֹשָׁה֙

transgressions

פִּשְׁעֵ֣י

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֔ה

 

וְעַל

and for four

אַרְבָּעָ֖ה

 

לֹ֣א

I will not turn away

אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ

 

עַֽל

the punishment thereof because they have despised

מָאֳסָ֞ם

 

אֶת

the law

תּוֹרַ֣ת

of the LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

his commandments

וְחֻקָּיו֙

 

לֹ֣א

and have not kept

שָׁמָ֔רוּ

caused them to err

וַיַּתְעוּם֙

and their lies

כִּזְבֵיהֶ֔ם

 

אֲשֶׁר

have walked

הָלְכ֥וּ

the which their fathers

אֲבוֹתָ֖ם

after

אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃

But I will send

וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי

a fire

אֵ֖שׁ

upon Judah

בִּֽיהוּדָ֑ה

and it shall devour

וְאָכְלָ֖ה

the palaces

אַרְמְנ֥וֹת

of Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

 

כֹּ֚ה

For three

פִּשְׁעֵ֣י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

 

וְעַל

and for four

אַרְבָּעָ֖ה

 

לֹ֣א

I will not turn away

אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ

 

עַל

the punishment thereof because they sold

מִכְרָ֤ם

for silver

בַּכֶּ֙סֶף֙

the righteous

צַדִּ֔יק

and the poor

וְאֶבְי֖וֹן

 

בַּעֲב֥וּר

for a pair of shoes

נַעֲלָֽיִם׃

That pant

הַשֹּׁאֲפִ֤ים

 

עַל

after the dust

עֲפַר

of the earth

אֶ֙רֶץ֙

on the head

בְּרֹ֣אשׁ

of the poor

דַּלִּ֔ים

the way

וְדֶ֥רֶךְ

of the meek

עֲנָוִ֖ים

and turn aside

יַטּ֑וּ

and a man

וְאִ֣ישׁ

and his father

וְאָבִ֗יו

will go

יֵֽלְכוּ֙

 

אֶל

in unto the same maid

הַֽנַּעֲרָ֔ה

 

לְמַ֥עַן

to profane

חַלֵּ֖ל

 

אֶת

שֵׁ֥ם

my holy

קָדְשִֽׁי׃

 

וְעַל

upon clothes

בְּגָדִ֤ים

laid to pledge

חֲבֻלִים֙

And they lay themselves down

יַטּ֔וּ

כָּל

every altar

מִזְבֵּ֑חַ

the wine

וְיֵ֤ין

of the condemned

עֲנוּשִׁים֙

and they drink

יִשְׁתּ֔וּ

in the house

בֵּ֖ית

of their god

אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃

 

וְאָ֨נֹכִ֜י

Yet destroyed

וָאַשְׁמִ֤יד

 

אֶת

I the Amorite

הָֽאֱמֹרִי֙

before

מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

them whose height

גָּבְה֔וֹ

of the cedars

אֲרָזִים֙

them whose height

גָּבְה֔וֹ

and he was strong

וְחָסֹ֥ן

 

ה֖וּא

as the oaks

כָּֽאַלּוֹנִ֑ים

Yet destroyed

וָאַשְׁמִ֤יד

his fruit

פִּרְיוֹ֙

from above

מִמַּ֔עַל

and his roots

וְשָׁרָשָׁ֖יו

 

מִתָּֽחַת׃

 

וְאָנֹכִ֛י

Also I brought you up

הֶעֱלֵ֥יתִי

 

אֶתְכֶ֖ם

from the land

אֶ֥רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרָ֑יִם

 

וָאוֹלֵ֨ךְ

 

אֶתְכֶ֤ם

through the wilderness

בַּמִּדְבָּר֙

you forty

אַרְבָּעִ֣ים

years

שָׁנָ֔ה

to possess

לָרֶ֖שֶׁת

 

אֶת

from the land

אֶ֥רֶץ

of the Amorite

הָאֱמֹרִֽי׃

And I raised up

וָאָקִ֤ים

Is it not even thus O ye children

בְּנֵ֥י

for prophets

לִנְבִיאִ֔ים

and of your young men

וּמִבַּחוּרֵיכֶ֖ם

for Nazarites

לִנְזִרִ֑ים

 

הַאַ֥ף

 

אֵֽין

 

זֹ֛את

Is it not even thus O ye children

בְּנֵ֥י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

saith

נְאֻם

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

to drink

וַתַּשְׁק֥וּ

 

אֶת

But ye gave the Nazarites

הַנְּזִרִ֖ים

wine

יָ֑יִן

 

וְעַל

the prophets

הַנְּבִיאִים֙

and commanded

צִוִּיתֶ֣ם

saying

לֵאמֹ֔ר

 

לֹ֖א

Prophesy

תִּנָּבְאֽוּ׃

 

הִנֵּ֛ה

 

אָנֹכִ֥י

Behold I am pressed

תָּעִיק֙

 

תַּחְתֵּיכֶ֑ם

 

כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר

Behold I am pressed

תָּעִיק֙

under you as a cart

הָעֲגָלָ֔ה

that is full

הַֽמְלֵאָ֥ה

 

לָ֖הּ

of sheaves

עָמִֽיר׃

shall perish

וְאָבַ֤ד

Therefore the flight

מָנוֹס֙

from the swift

מִקָּ֔ל

and the strong

וְחָזָ֖ק

 

לֹא

shall not strengthen

יְאַמֵּ֣ץ

his force

כֹּח֑וֹ

neither shall the mighty

וְגִבּ֖וֹר

 

לֹא

deliver

יְמַלֵּ֥ט

himself

נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃

that handleth

וְתֹפֵ֤שׂ

the bow

הַקֶּ֙שֶׁת֙

 

לֹ֣א

Neither shall he stand

יַעֲמֹ֔ד

and he that is swift

וְקַ֥ל

of foot

בְּרַגְלָ֖יו

 

לֹ֣א

deliver

יְמַלֵּ֖ט

himself neither shall he that rideth

וְרֹכֵ֣ב

the horse

הַסּ֔וּס

 

לֹ֥א

deliver

יְמַלֵּ֖ט

himself

נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃

And he that is courageous

וְאַמִּ֥יץ

 

לִבּ֖וֹ

among the mighty

בַּגִּבּוֹרִ֑ים

naked

עָר֛וֹם

shall flee away

יָנ֥וּס

in that day

בַּיּוֹם

 

הַה֖וּא

saith

נְאֻם

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃
