Thou shalt prepare

תָּכִ֣ין

 

לְךָ֮

thee a way

הַדֶּרֶךְ֒

into three parts

וְשִׁלַּשְׁתָּ֙

 

אֶת

and divide the coasts

גְּב֣וּל

of thy land

אַרְצְךָ֔

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

giveth thee to inherit

יַנְחִֽילְךָ֖

which the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

thy God

אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ

 

וְהָיָ֕ה

may flee

לָנ֥וּס

 

שָׁ֖מָּה

 

כָּל

that every slayer

רֹצֵֽחַ׃

 

וְזֶה֙

And this is the case

דְּבַ֣ר

of the slayer

הָֽרֹצֵ֔חַ

 

אֲשֶׁר

which shall flee

יָנ֥וּס

 

שָׁ֖מָּה

thither that he may live

וָחָ֑י

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

Whoso killeth

יַכֶּ֤ה

 

אֶת

his neighbour

רֵעֵ֙הוּ֙

ignorantly

בִּבְלִי

 

דַ֔עַת

 

וְה֛וּא

 

לֹֽא

whom he hated

שֹׂנֵ֥א

 

ל֖וֹ

מִתְּמֹ֥ל

שִׁלְשֹֽׁם׃

 

וַֽאֲשֶׁר֩

As when a man goeth

from the helve

הָעֵ֔ץ

וְנִדְּחָ֨ה

בַגַּרְזֶן֙

לִכְרֹ֣ת

וְנָשַׁ֤ל

יַרְחִ֞יב

And if the LORD

יְהוָ֤ה

אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙

גְּבֻ֣לְךָ֔

 

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר

as he hath sworn

נִשְׁבַּ֖ע

unto thy fathers

לַֽאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃

and give

לָתֵ֥ת

 

לְךָ֙

 

אֶת

 

כָּל

thee all the land

הָאָ֔רֶץ

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

which he promised

דִּבֶּ֖ר

לָתֵ֥ת

unto thy fathers

for him and rise up

עָלָ֔יו

against him and smite

וְהִכָּ֥הוּ

him mortally

נֶ֖פֶשׁ

that he die

וָמֵ֑ת

and fleeth

הֶֽעָרִ֥ים

be a false

שֶׁ֖קֶר

and hath testified

עָנָ֥ה

against his brother

בְאָחִֽיו׃

Then shall ye do

לַֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר

unto him as he had thought

זָמַ֖ם

Then shall ye do

לַֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת

unto his brother

לְאָחִ֑יו

away

וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥

the evil

הָרָ֖ע

from among

מִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ׃

And those which remain

וְהַנִּשְׁאָרִ֖ים

shall hear

יִשְׁמְע֣וּ

and fear

וְיִרָ֑אוּ

 

וְלֹֽא

and shall henceforth

יֹסִ֨פוּ

commit

לַֽעֲשׂ֜וֹת

 

ע֗וֹד

no more any

כַּדָּבָ֥ר
