For if thou refuse

אַתָּ֖ה

to let them go

לְשַׁלֵּ֑חַ

 

וְעֽוֹדְךָ֖

and wilt hold

מַֽחֲזִ֥יק

 

בָּֽם׃

 

הִנֵּ֨ה

Behold the hand

יַד

of the LORD

יְהוָ֜ה

is

הוֹיָ֗ה

upon thy cattle

בְּמִקְנְךָ֙

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

which is in the field

בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה

upon the horses

בַּסּוּסִ֤ים

upon the asses

בַּֽחֲמֹרִים֙

upon the camels

בַּגְּמַלִּ֔ים

upon the oxen

בַּבָּקָ֖ר

and upon the sheep

וּבַצֹּ֑אן

murrain

דֶּ֖בֶר

grievous

כָּבֵ֥ד

there shall be a very

מְאֹֽד׃

shall sever

וְהִפְלָ֣ה

And the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

 

בֵּ֚ין

and the cattle

מִקְנֵ֣ה

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

 

וּבֵ֖ין

and the cattle

מִקְנֵ֣ה

of Egypt

מִצְרָ֑יִם

 

וְלֹ֥א

die

יָמ֛וּת

 

מִכָּל

of all that is the children's

לִבְנֵ֥י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

and there shall nothing

דָּבָֽר׃

appointed

וַיָּ֥שֶׂם

And the LORD

יְהוָ֛ה

a set time

מוֹעֵ֣ד

saying

לֵאמֹ֑ר

To morrow

מָחָ֗ר

shall do

יַֽעֲשֶׂ֧ה

And the LORD

יְהוָ֛ה

this thing

הַדָּבָ֥ר

 

הַזֶּ֖ה

in the land

בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

וַיַּ֨עַשׂ

And the LORD

יְהוָ֜ה

מִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת

And Pharaoh

וְהִנֵּ֗ה

עַד

and behold there was not one

אֶחָ֑ד

וַיִּכְבַּד֙

הָעָֽם׃

and let Moses

מֹשֶׁ֛ה

and unto Aaron

אַהֲרֹן֒

Take

קְח֤וּ

 

לָכֶם֙

 

מְלֹ֣א

to you handfuls

חָפְנֵיכֶ֔ם

of ashes

פִּ֖יחַ

of the furnace

כִּבְשָׁ֑ן

sprinkle

וּזְרָק֥וֹ

and let Moses

מֹשֶׁ֛ה

it toward the heaven

הַשָּׁמַ֖יְמָה

in the sight

לְעֵינֵ֥י

of Pharaoh

פַרְעֹֽה׃

 

וְהָיָ֣ה

And it shall become small dust

לְאָבָ֔ק

 

עַ֖ל

 

כָּל

in all the land

אֶ֥רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרָֽיִם׃

 

וְהָיָ֨ה

 

עַל

upon man

הָֽאָדָ֜ם

 

וְעַל

and upon beast

הַבְּהֵמָ֗ה

and shall be a boil

לִשְׁחִ֥ין

breaking forth

פֹּרֵ֛חַ

with blains

אֲבַעְבֻּעֹ֖ת

 

בְּכָל

in all the land

אֶ֥רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרָֽיִם׃

And they took

וַיִּקְח֞וּ

 

אֶת

ashes

פִּ֣יחַ

of the furnace

הַכִּבְשָׁ֗ן

and stood

וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ֙

before

לִפְנֵ֣י

Pharaoh

פַרְעֹ֔ה

sprinkled

וַיִּזְרֹ֥ק

 

אֹת֛וֹ

and Moses

מֹשֶׁ֖ה

it up toward heaven

הַשָּׁמָ֑יְמָה

 

וַיְהִ֗י

and it became a boil

שְׁחִין֙

with blains

אֲבַעְבֻּעֹ֔ת

breaking forth

פֹּרֵ֕חַ

upon man

בָּֽאָדָ֖ם

and upon beast

וּבַבְּהֵמָֽה׃

 

וְלֹֽא

could

יָכְל֣וּ

And the magicians

בַּֽחֲרְטֻמִּ֖ם

not stand

לַֽעֲמֹ֛ד

because

מִפְּנֵ֣י

Moses

מֹשֶׁ֖ה

because

מִפְּנֵ֣י

for the boil

הַשְּׁחִ֔ין

 

כִּֽי

 

הָיָ֣ה

for the boil

הַשְּׁחִ֔ין

And the magicians

בַּֽחֲרְטֻמִּ֖ם

 

וּבְכָל

and upon all the Egyptians

מִצְרָֽיִם׃

וַיְחַזֵּ֤ק

And the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

the heart

לֵ֣ב

of Pharaoh

and he hearkened

שָׁמַ֖ע

 

אֲלֵהֶ֑ם

unto Moses

מֹשֶֽׁה׃

and say

Rise up early

הַשְׁכֵּ֣ם

in the morning

בַּבֹּ֔קֶר

and stand

וְהִתְיַצֵּ֖ב

before

לִפְנֵ֣י

Pharaoh

פַרְעֹ֑ה

and say

אָמַ֤ר

 

אֵלָ֗יו

 

כֹּֽה

and say

אָמַ֤ר

And the LORD

יְהוָה֙

God

אֱלֹהֵ֣י

of the Hebrews

הָֽעִבְרִ֔ים

go

שַׁלַּ֥ח

 

אֶת

Let my people

עַמִּ֖י

that they may serve

וְיַֽעַבְדֻֽנִי׃

 

כִּ֣י׀

For I will at this time

בַּפַּ֣עַם

 

הַזֹּ֗את

 

אֲנִ֨י

send

שֹׁלֵ֜חַ

 

אֶת

 

כָּל

all my plagues

מַגֵּֽפֹתַי֙

 

אֶֽל

upon thine heart

לִבְּךָ֔

and upon thy servants

וּבַֽעֲבָדֶ֖יךָ

and upon thy people

וּבְעַמֶּ֑ךָ

 

בַּֽעֲב֣וּר

that thou mayest know

תֵּדַ֔ע

 

כִּ֛י

 

אֵ֥ין

 

כָּמֹ֖נִי

 

בְּכָל

that there is none like me in all the earth

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

 

כִּ֤י

 

עַתָּה֙

For now I will stretch out

שָׁלַ֣חְתִּי

 

אֶת

my hand

יָדִ֔י

that I may smite

וָאַ֥ךְ

 

אֽוֹתְךָ֛

 

וְאֶֽת

thee and thy people

עַמְּךָ֖

with pestilence

בַּדָּ֑בֶר

and thou shalt be cut off

וַתִּכָּחֵ֖ד

 

מִן

from the earth

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

And in very

וְאוּלָ֗ם

deed

בַּֽעֲב֖וּר

 

זֹאת֙

for this cause have I raised thee up

הֶֽעֱמַדְתִּ֔יךָ

deed

בַּֽעֲב֖וּר

for to shew

הַרְאֹֽתְךָ֣

 

אֶת

in thee my power

כֹּחִ֑י

 

וּלְמַ֛עַן

may be declared

סַפֵּ֥ר

and that my name

שְׁמִ֖י

 

בְּכָל

throughout all the earth

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

 

עֽוֹדְךָ֖

As yet exaltest

מִסְתּוֹלֵ֣ל

thou thyself against my people

בְּעַמִּ֑י

 

לְבִלְתִּ֖י

that thou wilt not let them go

שַׁלְּחָֽם׃

 

הִנְנִ֤י

I will cause it to rain

מַמְטִיר֙

about this time

כָּעֵ֣ת

Behold to morrow

מָחָ֔ר

hail

בָּרָ֖ד

grievous

כָּבֵ֣ד

a very

מְאֹ֑ד

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

 

לֹֽא

 

הָיָ֤ה

such as hath not been

כָמֹ֙הוּ֙

in Egypt

for Moses

לְמֹשֶׁ֣ה

and Aaron

וּֽלְאַהֲרֹ֔ן

and said

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר

 

אֲלֵהֶ֖ם

unto them I have sinned

חָטָ֣אתִי

this time

הַפָּ֑עַם

the LORD

יְהוָה֙

is righteous

הַצַּדִּ֔יק

 

וַֽאֲנִ֥י

and I and my people

וְעַמִּ֖י

are wicked

הָֽרְשָׁעִֽים׃

Intreat

הַעְתִּ֙ירוּ֙

 

אֶל

the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

for it is enough

וְרַ֕ב

 

מִֽהְיֹ֛ת

thunderings

קֹלֹ֥ת

that there be no more mighty

אֱלֹהִ֖ים

and hail

וּבָרָ֑ד

and I will let you go

וַֽאֲשַׁלְּחָ֣ה

 

אֶתְכֶ֔ם

 

וְלֹ֥א

no longer

תֹֽסִפ֖וּן

and ye shall stay

לַֽעֲמֹֽד׃

And Moses

that thou mayest know

לַֽיהוָ֖ה

But as for thee and thy servants

וַֽעֲבָדֶ֑יךָ

I know

יָדַ֕עְתִּי

 

כִּ֚י

 

טֶ֣רֶם

that ye will not yet fear

תִּֽירְא֔וּן

 

מִפְּנֵ֖י

the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

God

אֱלֹהִֽים׃

And the flax

וְהַפִּשְׁתָּ֖ה

and the barley

הַשְּׂעֹרָה֙

was smitten

נֻכָּ֑תָה

 

כִּ֤י

and the barley

הַשְּׂעֹרָה֙

was in the ear

אָבִ֔יב

And the flax

וְהַפִּשְׁתָּ֖ה

was bolled

גִּבְעֹֽל׃

But the wheat

וְהַחִטָּ֥ה

and the rie

וְהַכֻּסֶּ֖מֶת

 

לֹ֣א

were not smitten

נֻכּ֑וּ

 

כִּ֥י

were not grown up

אֲפִילֹ֖ת

for they

הֵֽנָּה׃

went out

וַיֵּצֵ֨א

And Moses

מֹשֶׁ֜ה

 

מֵעִ֤ם

from Pharaoh

פַּרְעֹה֙

הָעִ֔יר

and spread abroad

וַיִּפְרֹ֥שׂ

כַּפָּ֖יו

unto the LORD

הַקֹּלוֹת֙

וְהַבָּרָ֔ד

נִתַּ֥ךְ

And when Pharaoh

הַמָּטָ֧ר

and the hail

וְהַבָּרָ֛ד

yet more

וַיֹּ֣סֶף

he sinned

לַֽחֲטֹ֑א
