from thy place

מָק֤וֹם

 

אֶל

from thy place

to another

אַחֵר֙

in their sight

לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם

as they that go forth

כְּמוֹצָאֵ֖י

גּוֹלָֽה׃

in their sight

Dig

חֲתָר

 

לְךָ֣

thou through the wall

בַקִּ֑יר

and carry out

וְהוֹצֵאתָ֖

 

בּֽוֹ׃

In their sight

עַל

it upon thy shoulders

כָּתֵ֤ף

shalt thou bear

תִּשָּׂא֙

in the twilight

בָּעֲלָטָ֣ה

and carry it forth

פָּנֶ֣יךָ

thou shalt cover

תְכַסֶּ֔ה

 

וְלֹ֥א

that thou see

for I have set

וָאַ֣עַשׂ

כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר

so as I was commanded

צֻוֵּיתִי֒

as stuff

כִּכְלֵ֤י

I brought forth

הוֹצֵ֛אתִי

as stuff

כִּכְלֵ֤י

for captivity

גוֹלָה֙

by day

יוֹמָ֔ם

and in the even

וּבָעֶ֛רֶב

I digged

חָתַֽרְתִּי

 

לִ֥י

through the wall

בַקִּ֖יר

with mine hand

בְּיָ֑ד

in the twilight

בָּעֲלָטָ֥ה

I brought forth

הוֹצֵ֛אתִי

 

עַל

it upon my shoulder

כָּתֵ֥ף

and I bare

נָשָׂ֖אתִי

in their sight

לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃

 

וַיְהִ֧י

came the word

דְבַר

of the LORD

יְהוָ֛ה

 

אֵלַ֖י

And in the morning

בַּבֹּ֥קֶר

unto me saying

לֵאמֹֽר׃

Son

בֶּן

of man

אָדָ֕ם

 

הֲלֹ֨א

said

אָמְר֥וּ

 

אֵלֶ֛יךָ

hath not the house

בֵּ֣ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

hath not the house

בֵּ֣ית

the rebellious

הַמֶּ֑רִי

 

מָ֖ה

 

אַתָּ֥ה

unto thee What doest

עֹשֶֽׂה׃

Say

אָמַ֖ר

 

אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם

 

כֹּ֥ה

Say

אָמַ֖ר

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִֹ֑ה

concerneth the prince

הַנָּשִׂ֞יא

This burden

הַמַּשָּׂ֤א

 

הַזֶּה֙

in Jerusalem

בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם

 

וְכָל

and all the house

בֵּ֥ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

 

אֲשֶׁר

 

הֵ֥מָּה

that are among

בְתוֹכָֽם׃

Say

אֱמֹ֖ר

 

אֲנִ֣י

I am your sign

מֽוֹפֶתְכֶ֑ם

 

כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר

like as I have done

יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה

 

כֵּ֚ן

like as I have done

יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה

 

לָהֶ֔ם

unto them they shall remove

בַּגּוֹלָ֥ה

into captivity

בַשְּׁבִ֖י

 

יֵלֵֽכוּ׃

And the prince

וְהַנָּשִׂ֨יא

 

אֲשֶׁר

that is among

בְּתוֹכָ֜ם

 

אֶל

upon his shoulder

כָּתֵ֤ף

them shall bear

יִשָּׂא֙

in the twilight

בָּעֲלָטָ֣ה

and shall go forth

לְה֣וֹצִיא

through the wall

בַּקִּ֥יר

they shall dig

יַחְתְּר֖וּ

and shall go forth

לְה֣וֹצִיא

 

ב֑וֹ

his face

פָּנָ֣יו

thereby he shall cover

יְכַסֶּ֔ה

יַ֗עַן

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

 

לֹא

he see

יִרְאֶ֥ה

with his eyes

לַעַ֛יִן

 

ה֖וּא

 

אֶת

not the ground

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

also will I spread

וּפָרַשְׂתִּ֤י

My net

רִשְׁתִּי֙

 

עָלָ֔יו

upon him and he shall be taken

וְנִתְפַּ֖שׂ

in my snare

בִּמְצֽוּדָתִ֑י

and I will bring

וְהֵבֵאתִ֨י

בָבֶ֙לָה֙

of the Chaldeans

כַּשְׂדִּ֔ים

yet shall he not see

וְשָׁ֥ם

it though he shall die

יָמֽוּת׃

 

וְכֹל֩

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

all that are about

סְבִיבֹתָ֥יו

him to help

עֶזְרֹ֛ה

 

וְכָל

him and all his bands

אֲגַפָּ֖יו

And I will scatter

אֱזָרֶ֣ה

 

לְכָל

toward every wind

ר֑וּחַ

the sword

וְחֶ֖רֶב

and I will draw out

אָרִ֥יק

after

אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃

And they shall know

וְיָדְע֖וּ

 

כִּֽי

 

אֲנִ֣י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

when I shall scatter

בַּהֲפִיצִ֤י

 

אוֹתָם֙

them among the nations

בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם

and disperse

וְזֵרִיתִ֥י

 

אוֹתָ֖ם

them in the countries

בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃

But I will leave

וְהוֹתַרְתִּ֤י

 

מֵהֶם֙

 

אַנְשֵׁ֣י

a few

מִסְפָּ֔ר

of them from the sword

מֵחֶ֖רֶב

from the famine

מֵרָעָ֣ב

and from the pestilence

וּמִדָּ֑בֶר

 

לְמַ֨עַן

that they may declare

יְסַפְּר֜וּ

 

אֶת

 

כָּל

all their abominations

תּוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם

among the heathen

בַּגּוֹיִם֙

 

אֲשֶׁר

whither they come

בָּ֣אוּ

 

שָׁ֔ם

and they shall know

וְיָדְע֖וּ

 

כִּֽי

 

אֲנִ֥י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

וַיְהִ֥י

Moreover the word

דְבַר

of the LORD

came to me saying

לֵאמֹֽר׃

Son

בֶּן

of man

אָדָ֕ם

thy bread

לַחְמְךָ֖

with quaking

בְּרַ֣עַשׁ

eat

תֹּאכֵ֑ל

thy water

וּמֵימֶ֕יךָ

with trembling

בְּרָגְזָ֥ה

and with carefulness

וּבִדְאָגָ֖ה

and drink

תִּשְׁתֶּֽה׃

And say

אָמַר֩

 

אֶל

unto the people

עַ֣ם

of the land

הָאָ֡רֶץ

 

כֹּֽה

And say

אָמַר֩

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֨י

GOD

יְהוִ֜ה

of all them that dwell

הַיֹּשְׁבִ֥ים

of Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙

 

אֶל

and of the land

אַרְצָהּ֙

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

their bread

לַחְמָם֙

with carefulness

בִּדְאָגָ֣ה

They shall eat

יֹאכֵ֔לוּ

their water

וּמֵֽימֵיהֶ֖ם

with astonishment

בְּשִׁמָּמ֣וֹן

and drink

יִשְׁתּ֑וּ

 

לְמַ֜עַן

may be desolate

תֵּשַׁ֤ם

and of the land

אַרְצָהּ֙

from all that is therein

מִמְּלֹאָ֔הּ

because of the violence

מֵחֲמַ֖ס

 

כָּֽל

of all them that dwell

הַיֹּשְׁבִ֥ים

 

בָּֽהּ׃

And the cities

וְהֶעָרִ֤ים

that are inhabited

הַנּֽוֹשָׁבוֹת֙

shall be laid waste

תֶּחֱרַ֔בְנָה

and the land

וְהָאָ֖רֶץ

shall be desolate

שְׁמָמָ֣ה

 

תִֽהְיֶ֑ה

and ye shall know

וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם

 

כִּֽי

 

אֲנִ֥י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

And the word

are prolonged

יַֽאַרְכוּ֙

The days

הַיָּמִ֔ים

faileth

וְאָבַ֖ד

and every vision

חָזֽוֹן׃

 

לָכֵ֞ן

Tell

אָמַר֮

 

אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם

 

כֹּֽה

Tell

אָמַר֮

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

 

יְהוִה֒

to cease

הִשְׁבַּ֙תִּי֙

 

אֶת

I will make this proverb

הַמָּשָׁ֣ל

 

הַזֶּ֔ה

 

וְלֹֽא

and they shall no more use it as a proverb

יִמְשְׁל֥וּ

 

אֹת֛וֹ

 

ע֖וֹד

in Israel

בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

 

כִּ֚י

 

אִם

but say

דַּבֵּ֣ר

 

אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם

are at hand

קָֽרְבוּ֙

unto them The days

הַיָּמִ֔ים

and the effect

וּדְבַ֖ר

of every vision

חָזֽוֹן׃

חֲז֥וֹן

For there shall be no more any vain

שָׁ֖וְא

divination

וּמִקְסַ֣ם

nor flattering

חָלָ֑ק

within

בְּת֖וֹךְ

the house

בֵּ֥ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

 

כִּ֣י׀

 

אֲנִ֣י

For I am the LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

I will speak

אֲדַבֵּ֤ר

 

אֵת֩

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

I will speak

אֲדַבֵּ֤ר

and the word

דָּבָר֙

and will perform

וַעֲשִׂיתִ֔יו

 

לֹ֥א

it shall be no more prolonged

תִמָּשֵׁ֖ךְ

 

ע֑וֹד

 

כִּ֣י

for in your days

בִֽימֵיכֶ֞ם

house

O rebellious

הַמֶּ֗רִי

I will speak

אֲדַבֵּ֤ר

and the word

דָּבָר֙

וַעֲשִׂיתִ֔יו

it saith

נְאֻ֖ם

the Lord

behold they of the house

The vision

הֶחָז֛וֹן

 

אֲשֶׁר

 

ה֥וּא

that he seeth

חֹזֶ֖ה

days

לְיָמִ֣ים

is for many

רַבִּ֑ים

of the times

וּלְעִתִּ֥ים

that are far

רְחוֹק֖וֹת

 

ה֥וּא

to come and he prophesieth

נִבָּֽא׃

 

לָכֵ֞ן

Therefore say

אָמַר֙

 

אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם

 

כֹּ֤ה

Therefore say
