And say

אָמְרֵ֨ךְ

Aha

הֶאָ֜ח

 

אֶל

against my sanctuary

מִקְדָּשִׁ֣י

 

כִֽי

when it was profaned

נִחָ֗ל

 

וְאֶל

and against the land

אַדְמַ֤ת

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙

 

כִּ֣י

when it was desolate

נָשַׁ֔מָּה

 

וְאֶל

and against the house

בֵּ֣ית

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֔ה

 

כִּ֥י

when they went

הָלְכ֖וּ

into captivity

בַּגּוֹלָֽה׃

 

לָכֵ֡ן

 

הִנְנִי֩

Behold therefore I will deliver

וְנָ֥תְנוּ

thee to the men

לִבְנֵי

of the east

קֶ֜דֶם

for a possession

לְמֽוֹרָשָׁ֗ה

and they shall set

וְיִשְּׁב֤וּ

their palaces

טִירֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙

 

בָּ֔ךְ

Behold therefore I will deliver

וְנָ֥תְנוּ

 

בָ֖ךְ

their dwellings

מִשְׁכְּנֵיהֶ֑ם

 

הֵ֚מָּה

in thee they shall eat

יֹאכְל֣וּ

thy fruit

פִרְיֵ֔ךְ

 

וְהֵ֖מָּה

and they shall drink

יִשְׁתּ֥וּ

thy milk

חֲלָבֵֽךְ׃

And I will make

וְנָתַתִּ֤י

 

אֶת

Rabbah

רַבָּה֙

a stable

לִנְוֵ֣ה

for camels

גְמַלִּ֔ים

 

וְאֶת

and the Ammonites

בְּנֵ֥י

 

עַמּ֖וֹן

a couchingplace

לְמִרְבַּץ

for flocks

צֹ֑אן

and ye shall know

וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם

 

כִּֽי

 

אֲנִ֥י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

כִּ֣י

 

כֹ֤ה

For thus saith

אָמַר֙

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֔ה

 

יַ֚עַן

Because thou hast clapped

מַחְאֲךָ֣

thine hands

יָ֔ד

and stamped

וְרַקְעֲךָ֖

with the feet

בְּרָ֑גֶל

and rejoiced

וַתִּשְׂמַ֤ח

 

בְּכָל

with all thy despite

שָֽׁאטְךָ֙

in heart

בְּנֶ֔פֶשׁ

 

אֶל

against the land

אַדְמַ֖ת

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

 

לָכֵ֡ן

 

הִנְנִי֩

Behold therefore I will stretch out

נָטִ֨יתִי

 

אֶת

mine hand

יָדִ֜י

 

עָלֶ֗יךָ

upon thee and will deliver

וּנְתַתִּ֤יךָֽ

 

לְבַג֙

to the heathen

לַגּוֹיִ֔ם

and I will cut thee off

וְהִכְרַתִּ֙יךָ֙

 

מִן

from the people

הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים

and I will cause thee to perish

וְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֖יךָ

 

מִן

out of the countries

הָאֲרָצ֑וֹת

I will destroy

אַשְׁמִ֣ידְךָ֔

thee and thou shalt know

וְיָדַעְתָּ֖

 

כִּֽי

 

אֲנִ֥י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

Thus saith

אֲמֹ֤ר

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֑ה

Because

יַ֗עַן

Thus saith

אֲמֹ֤ר

that Moab

מוֹאָב֙

and Seir

וְשֵׂעִ֔יר

 

הִנֵּ֥ה

 

כְּכָֽל

is like unto all the heathen

הַגּוֹיִ֖ם

Behold the house

בֵּ֥ית

of Judah

יְהוּדָֽה׃

 

לָכֵן֩

 

הִנְנִ֨י

Therefore behold I will open

פֹתֵ֜חַ

 

אֶת

the side

כֶּ֤תֶף

of Moab

מוֹאָב֙

from his cities

מֵֽעָרָ֖יו

from his cities

מֵֽעָרָ֖יו

which are on his frontiers

מִקָּצֵ֑הוּ

the glory

צְבִ֗י

of the country

אֶ֚רֶץ

 

בֵּ֣ית

Bethjeshimoth

הַיְשִׁימֹ֔ת

 

בַּ֥עַל

Baalmeon

מְע֖וֹן

and Kiriathaim

וְקִרְיָתָֽמָה׃

Unto the men

בְּנֵֽי

of the east

קֶ֙דֶם֙

 

עַל

Unto the men

בְּנֵֽי

 

עַמּ֔וֹן

and will give

וּנְתַתִּ֖יהָ

them in possession

לְמֽוֹרָשָׁ֑ה

 

לְמַ֛עַן

 

לֹֽא

may not be remembered

תִזָּכֵ֥ר

Unto the men

בְּנֵֽי

 

עַמּ֖וֹן

among the nations

בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃

upon Moab

וּבְמוֹאָ֖ב

And I will execute

אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה

judgments

שְׁפָטִ֑ים

and they shall know

וְיָדְע֖וּ

 

כִּֽי

 

אֲנִ֥י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

כֹּ֤ה

Thus saith

אָמַר֙

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֔ה

 

יַ֣עַן

hath dealt

עֲשׂ֥וֹת

Because that Edom

אֱד֛וֹם

and revenged

וְנִקְּמ֥וּ

vengeance

נָקָ֖ם

against the house

לְבֵ֣ית

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֑ה

and hath greatly

אָשׁ֖וֹם

and hath greatly

אָשׁ֖וֹם

and revenged

וְנִקְּמ֥וּ

 

בָהֶֽם׃

 

לָכֵ֗ן

 

כֹּ֤ה

Therefore thus saith

אָמַר֙

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֔ה

I will also stretch out

וְנָטִ֤תִי

mine hand

יָדִי֙

 

עַל

upon Edom

אֱד֔וֹם

and will cut off

וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י

 

מִמֶּ֖נָּה

man

אָדָ֣ם

and beast

וּבְהֵמָ֑ה

from it and I will make

וּנְתַתִּ֤יהָ

it desolate

חָרְבָּה֙

from Teman

מִתֵּימָ֔ן

and they of Dedan

וּדְדָ֖נֶה

by the sword

בַּחֶ֥רֶב

shall fall

יִפֹּֽלוּ׃

And I will lay

וְנָתַתִּ֨י

 

אֶת

my vengeance

נִקְמָתִ֔י

in Edom

בֶאֱד֔וֹם

by the hand

בְּיַד֙

of my people

עַמִּ֣י

Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

and they shall do

וְעָשׂ֣וּ

in Edom

בֶאֱד֔וֹם

according to mine anger

כְּאַפִּ֖י

and according to my fury

וְכַחֲמָתִ֑י

and they shall know

וְיָֽדְעוּ֙

 

אֶת

my vengeance

נִקְמָתִ֔י

saith

נְאֻ֖ם

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֥י

 

יְהוִֽה׃

 

כֹּ֤ה

Thus saith

אָמַר֙

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֔ה

 

יַ֛עַן

have dealt

עֲשׂ֥וֹת

Because the Philistines

פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים

by revenge

בִּנְקָמָ֑ה

and have taken

וַיִּנָּקְמ֤וּ

vengeance

נָקָם֙

with a despiteful

בִּשְׁאָ֣ט

heart

בְּנֶ֔פֶשׁ

to destroy

לְמַשְׁחִ֖ית

hatred

אֵיבַ֥ת

it for the old

עוֹלָֽם׃

 

לָכֵ֗ן

 

כֹּ֤ה

Therefore thus saith

אָמַר֙

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֔ה

 

הִנְנִ֨י

Behold I will stretch out

נוֹטֶ֤ה

mine hand

יָדִי֙

 

עַל

upon the Philistines

פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים

and I will cut off

וְהִכְרַתִּ֖י

 

אֶת

the Cherethims

כְּרֵתִ֑ים

and destroy

וְהַ֣אֲבַדְתִּ֔י

 

אֶת

the remnant

שְׁאֵרִ֖ית

coast

ח֥וֹף

of the sea

הַיָּֽם׃

And I will execute

וְעָשִׂ֤יתִי

 

בָם֙

my vengeance

נִקְמָתִ֖י

great

גְּדֹל֔וֹת

rebukes

בְּתוֹכְח֖וֹת

upon them with furious

חֵמָ֑ה

and they shall know

וְיָֽדְעוּ֙

 

כִּֽי

 

אֲנִ֣י

that I am the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

when I shall lay

בְּתִתִּ֥י

 

אֶת

my vengeance

נִקְמָתִ֖י

 

בָּֽם׃
