תִּזְרֶ֣ה

in the wind

לָר֔וּחַ

וְחֶ֖רֶב

and I will draw out

אָרִ֥יק

אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃

Thou shalt also take

וְלָקַחְתָּ֥

 

מִשָּׁ֖ם

thereof a few

מְעַ֣ט

in number

בְּמִסְפָּ֑ר

and bind

וְצַרְתָּ֥

 

אוֹתָ֖ם

them in thy skirts

בִּכְנָפֶֽיךָ׃

 

וּמֵהֶם֙

 

ע֣וֹד

Then take of them again

תִּקָּ֔ח

and cast

וְהִשְׁלַכְתָּ֤

 

אוֹתָם֙

 

אֶל

them into the midst

תּ֣וֹךְ

for thereof shall a fire

אֵ֖שׁ

and burn

וְשָׂרַפְתָּ֥

 

אֹתָ֖ם

for thereof shall a fire

אֵ֖שׁ

 

מִמֶּ֥נּוּ

come forth

תֵצֵא

for thereof shall a fire

אֵ֖שׁ

 

אֶל

 

כָּל

into all the house

בֵּ֥ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

 

כֹּ֤ה

Thus saith

אָמַר֙

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִֹ֔ה

 

זֹ֚את

This is Jerusalem

יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם

it in the midst

בְּת֥וֹךְ

of the nations

הַגּוֹיִ֖ם

I have set

שַׂמְתִּ֑יהָ

that are round about

וּסְבִיבוֹתֶ֖יהָ

and countries

אֲרָצֽוֹת׃

And she hath changed

וַתֶּ֨מֶר

 

אֶת

my judgments

בְמִשְׁפָּטַי֙

into wickedness

לְרִשְׁעָה֙

 

מִן

more than the nations

הַגּוֹיִ֔ם

 

וְאֶ֨ת

and my statutes

וְחֻקּוֹתַ֖י

 

מִן

more than the countries

הָאֲרָצ֖וֹת

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that are round about

סְבִיבוֹתֶ֑יהָ

 

כִּ֤י

my judgments

בְמִשְׁפָּטַי֙

her for they have refused

מָאָ֔סוּ

and my statutes

וְחֻקּוֹתַ֖י

 

לֹא

they have not walked

הָלְכ֥וּ

 

בָהֶֽם׃

 

לָכֵ֞ן

 

כֹּֽה

Therefore thus saith

אָמַ֣ר׀

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

 

יְהוִ֗ה

 

יַ֤עַן

Because ye multiplied

הֲמָנְכֶם֙

 

מִן

more than the nations

הַגּוֹיִ֛ם

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that are round about

סְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם

in my statutes

בְּחֻקּוֹתַי֙

 

לֹ֣א

you and have not walked

הֲלַכְתֶּ֔ם

 

וְאֶת

according to the judgments

וּֽכְמִשְׁפְּטֵ֧י

 

לֹ֣א

neither have done

עֲשִׂיתֶֽם׃

according to the judgments

וּֽכְמִשְׁפְּטֵ֧י

more than the nations

הַגּוֹיִ֛ם

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

that are round about

סְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם

 

לֹ֥א

neither have done

עֲשִׂיתֶֽם׃

 

לָכֵ֗ן

 

כֹּ֤ה

Therefore thus saith

אָמַר֙

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִ֔ה

 

הִנְנִ֥י

 

עָלַ֖יִךְ

 

גַּם

 

אָ֑נִי

Behold I even I am against thee and will execute

וְעָשִׂ֧יתִי

in the midst

בְתוֹכֵ֛ךְ

judgments

מִשְׁפָּטִ֖ים

of thee in the sight

לְעֵינֵ֥י

of the nations

הַגּוֹיִֽם׃

And I will do

אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה

 

בָ֗ךְ

 

אֵ֚ת

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

 

לֹֽא

And I will do

אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה

 

וְאֵ֛ת

 

אֲשֶֽׁר

 

לֹֽא

And I will do

אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה

 

כָמֹ֖הוּ

 

ע֑וֹד

any more the like because

יַ֖עַן

 

כָּל

of all thine abominations

תּוֹעֲבֹתָֽיִךְ׃

 

לָכֵ֗ן

Therefore the fathers

אֲבוֹתָ֑ם

shall eat

יֹאכְל֣וּ

of thee and the sons

וּבָנִ֖ים

in the midst

בְּתוֹכֵ֔ךְ

of thee and the sons

וּבָנִ֖ים

shall eat

יֹאכְל֣וּ

Therefore the fathers

אֲבוֹתָ֑ם

and I will execute

וְעָשִׂ֤יתִי

 

בָךְ֙

judgments

שְׁפָטִ֔ים

of thee will I scatter

וְזֵרִיתִ֥י

 

אֶת

 

כָּל

in thee and the whole remnant

שְׁאֵרִיתֵ֖ךְ

 

לְכָל

into all the winds

רֽוּחַ׃

 

לָכֵ֣ן

Wherefore as I live

חַי

 

אָ֗נִי

saith

נְאֻם֮

the Lord

אֲדֹנָ֣י

GOD

יְהוִה֒

 

אִם

 

לֹ֗א

 

יַ֚עַן

 

אֶת

my sanctuary

מִקְדָּשִׁ֣י

Surely because thou hast defiled

טִמֵּ֔את

 

בְּכָל

with all thy detestable things

שִׁקּוּצַ֖יִךְ

 

וּבְכָל

and with all thine abominations

תּוֹעֲבֹתָ֑יִךְ

 

וְגַם

 

אֲנִ֤י

therefore will I also diminish

אֶגְרַע֙

 

וְלֹא

spare

תָח֣וֹס

thee neither shall mine eye

עֵינִ֔י

 

וְגַם

 

אֲנִ֖י

 

לֹ֥א

neither will I have any pity

אֶחְמֽוֹל׃

A third part

וְהַשְּׁלִישִׁית֙

with the pestilence

בַּדֶּ֣בֶר

of thee shall die

יָמ֗וּתוּ

and with famine

וּבָֽרָעָב֙

shall they be consumed

יִכְל֣וּ

in the midst

בְתוֹכֵ֔ךְ

A third part

וְהַשְּׁלִישִׁית֙

a sword

וְחֶ֖רֶב

shall fall

יִפְּל֣וּ

round about

סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ

לְכָל

into all the winds

ר֣וּחַ

thee and I will scatter

אֱזָרֶ֔ה

a sword

וְחֶ֖רֶב

and I will draw out

אָרִ֥יק

after

אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃

be accomplished

בְּכַלּוֹתִ֥י

Thus shall mine anger

אַפִּ֗י

to rest

וַהֲנִחוֹתִ֧י

and I will cause my fury

חֲמָתִ֖י

 

בָּ֖ם

upon them and I will be comforted

וְהִנֶּחָ֑מְתִּי

and they shall know

וְֽיָדְע֞וּ

 

כִּי

 

אֲנִ֣י

that I the LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

have spoken

דִּבַּ֙רְתִּי֙

it in my zeal

בְּקִנְאָתִ֔י

be accomplished

בְּכַלּוֹתִ֥י

and I will cause my fury

חֲמָתִ֖י

 

בָּֽם׃

Moreover I will make

וְאֶתְּנֵךְ֙

thee waste

לְחָרְבָּ֣ה

and a reproach

וּלְחֶרְפָּ֔ה

among the nations

בַּגּוֹיִ֖ם

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that are round about

סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ

thee in the sight

לְעֵינֵ֖י

 

כָּל

of all that pass by

עוֹבֵֽר׃

 

וְֽהָ֨יְתָ֜ה

So it shall be a reproach

חֶרְפָּ֤ה

and a taunt

וּגְדוּפָה֙

an instruction

מוּסָ֣ר

and an astonishment

וּמְשַׁמָּ֔ה

unto the nations

לַגּוֹיִ֖ם

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that are round about

סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ

thee when I shall execute

בַּעֲשׂוֹתִי֩

 

בָ֨ךְ

judgments

שְׁפָטִ֜ים

in thee in anger

בְּאַ֤ף

and in furious

חֵמָ֔ה

rebukes

וּבְתֹכְח֣וֹת

and in furious

חֵמָ֔ה

 

אֲנִ֥י

I the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

have spoken

דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃

When I shall send

אֲשַׁלַּ֥ח

 

אֶת

arrows

חִצֵּי֩

of famine

וְרָעָב֙

upon them the evil

הָרָעִ֤ים

 

בָּהֶם֙

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

 

הָי֣וּ

which shall be for their destruction

לְמַשְׁחִ֔ית

 

אֲשֶׁר

When I shall send

אֲשַׁלַּ֥ח

 

אוֹתָ֖ם

to destroy

לְשַֽׁחֶתְכֶ֑ם

of famine

וְרָעָב֙

you and I will increase

אֹסֵ֣ף

 

עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם

upon you and will break

וְשָׁבַרְתִּ֥י

 

לָכֶ֖ם

your staff

מַטֵּה

of bread

לָֽחֶם׃

So will I send

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֣י

 

עֲ֠לֵיכֶם

upon you famine

רָעָ֞ב

beasts

וְחַיָּ֤ה

and evil

רָעָה֙

and they shall bereave

וְשִׁכְּלֻ֔ךְ

thee and pestilence

וְדֶ֥בֶר

and blood

וָדָ֖ם

shall pass through

יַעֲבָר

 

בָּ֑ךְ

the sword

וְחֶ֙רֶב֙

thee and I will bring

אָבִ֣יא

 

עָלַ֔יִךְ

 

אֲנִ֥י

upon thee I the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

have spoken

דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃
