וַיִּקַּ֞ח

שְׁנֵ֤י

of his young men

נְעָרָיו֙

 

אִתּ֔וֹ

 

וְאֵ֖ת

with him and Isaac

יִצְחָ֣ק

his son

בְּנ֑וֹ

and clave

וַיְבַקַּע֙

the wood

עֲצֵ֣י

for the burnt offering

עֹלָ֔ה

and rose up

וַיָּ֣קָם

 

וַיֵּ֔לֶךְ

 

אֶל

unto the place

הַמָּק֖וֹם

 

אֲשֶׁר

had told

אָֽמַר

of which God

הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃

הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֗י

lifted up

וַיִּשָּׂ֨א

and saw

הַמָּק֖וֹם

afar off

מֵֽרָחֹֽק׃

said

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

And Abraham

אַבְרָהָ֜ם

 

אֶל

and I and the lad

וְהַנַּ֔עַר

Abide

שְׁבוּ

 

לָכֶ֥ם

 

פֹּה֙

 

עִֽם

ye here with the ass

הַחֲמ֔וֹר

 

וַֽאֲנִ֣י

and I and the lad

וְהַנַּ֔עַר

 

נֵֽלְכָ֖ה

 

עַד

וְנִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֖ה

and he took

וַיִּקַּ֣ח

עֲצֵ֣י

of the burnt offering

הָֽעֹלָ֗ה

and laid

וַיָּ֙שֶׂם֙

 

עַל

it upon Isaac

יִצְחָ֣ק

his son

בְּנ֔וֹ

and he took

וַיִּקַּ֣ח

in his hand

בְּיָד֔וֹ

 

אֶת

the fire

הָאֵ֖שׁ

 

וְאֶת

and a knife

הַֽמַּאֲכֶ֑לֶת

 

וַיֵּֽלְכ֥וּ

both

שְׁנֵיהֶ֖ם

of them together

יַחְדָּֽו׃

And he said

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר

And Isaac

יִצְחָ֜ק

unto Abraham

אַבְרָהָ֤ם

My father

אָבִ֔י

And he said

הִנֶּ֣נִּֽי

Here am I my son

בְנִ֑י

And he said

הִנֵּ֤ה

Behold the fire

הָאֵשׁ֙

and the wood

וְהָ֣עֵצִ֔ים

 

וְאַיֵּ֥ה

but where is the lamb

הַשֶּׂ֖ה

for a burnt offering

לְעֹלָֽה׃

said

וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙

And Abraham

אַבְרָהָ֔ם

God

אֱלֹהִ֞ים

will provide

יִרְאֶה

 

לּ֥וֹ

himself a lamb

הַשֶּׂ֛ה

for a burnt offering

לְעֹלָ֖ה

My son

בְּנִ֑י

 

וַיֵּֽלְכ֥וּ

both of them

שְׁנֵיהֶ֖ם

together

יַחְדָּֽו׃

And they came

וַיָּבֹ֗אוּ

to the place

הַמָּקוֹם֮

him a ram

וַיַּֽעֲלֵ֥הוּ

for a burnt offering

לְעֹלָ֖ה

in the stead

תַּ֥חַת

of his son

בְּנֽוֹ׃

And Abraham

אַבְרָהָ֛ם

שֵֽׁם

of that place

הַמָּק֥וֹם

of the LORD

it shall be seen

יֵֽרָאֶֽה׃

אֲשֶׁר֙

In the mount

בְּהַ֥ר

of the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

it shall be seen

יֵֽרָאֶֽה׃

וַיִּקְרָ֛א

And the angel

מַלְאַ֥ךְ

of the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

unto Abraham

אַבְרָהָ֑ם

the second time

שֵׁנִ֖ית

 

מִן

out of heaven

הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

And said

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר

 

בִּ֥י

By myself have I sworn

נִשְׁבַּ֖עְתִּי

saith

נְאֻם

the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

 

כִּ֗י

for because

יַ֚עַן

 

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

thou hast done

עָשִׂ֙יתָ֙

this thing

הַדָּבָ֣ר

 

הַזֶּ֔ה

and hast not

וְלֹ֥א

חָשַׂ֖כְתָּ

thy son

בִּנְךָ֥

I will bless

אֲבָֽרֶכְךָ֗

וְהִתְבָּרֲכ֣וּ

And in thy seed

בְזַרְעֲךָ֔

shall all the nations

of the earth

because

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

thou hast obeyed

שָׁמַ֖עְתָּ

my voice

So Abraham

unto his young men

נְעָרָ֔יו

and they rose up

וַיָּקֻ֛מוּ

 

וַיֵּֽלְכ֥וּ

together

יַחְדָּ֖ו

 

אֶל

 

בְּאֵ֣ר

at Beersheba

שָֽׁבַע׃

dwelt

וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב

So Abraham

And it came to pass after
