לְעַמִּ֣ים

many

רַבִּ֑ים

and they shall beat

וְכִתְּת֨וּ

sword

חֶ֔רֶב

into plowshares

לְאִתִּ֗ים

and their spears

וַחֲנִיתֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙

into pruninghooks

לְמַזְמֵר֔וֹת

 

לֹא

shall not lift up

יִשָּׂ֨א

against nation

גּוֹי֙

 

אֶל

neither shall they learn

יִלְמְד֥וּ

Therefore thou hast forsaken

נָטַ֗שְׁתָּה

thy people

of Jacob

כִּ֤י

because they be replenished

מָלְאוּ֙

from the east

מִקֶּ֔דֶם

and are soothsayers

וְעֹֽנְנִ֖ים

like the Philistines

כַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים

themselves in the children

וּבְיַלְדֵ֥י

of strangers

נָכְרִ֖ים

and they please

יַשְׂפִּֽיקוּ׃

also is full

וַתִּמָּלֵ֤א

Their land

אַרְצוֹ֙

of silver

כֶּ֣סֶף

and gold

וְזָהָ֔ב

 

וְאֵ֥ין

neither is there any end

קֵ֖צֶה

of their treasures

לְאֹצְרֹתָ֑יו

also is full

וַתִּמָּלֵ֤א

Their land

אַרְצוֹ֙

of horses

סוּסִ֔ים

 

וְאֵ֥ין

neither is there any end

קֵ֖צֶה

of their chariots

לְמַרְכְּבֹתָֽיו׃

also is full

וַתִּמָּלֵ֥א

אַרְצ֖וֹ

אֱלִילִ֑ים

לְמַעֲשֵׂ֤ה

of their own hands

יָדָיו֙

they worship

יִֽשְׁתַּחֲו֔וּ

 

לַאֲשֶׁ֥ר

עָשׂ֖וּ

that which their own fingers

אֶצְבְּעֹתָֽיו׃

וַיִּשַּׁ֥ח

thee in the dust

בֶּֽעָפָ֑ר

מִפְּנֵי֙

fear

פַּ֣חַד

of the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

and for the glory

וּמֵהֲדַ֖ר

of his majesty

גְּאֹנֽוֹ׃

looks

עֵינֵ֞י

The lofty

גַּבְה֤וּת

of man

אָדָם֙

shall be humbled

שָׁפֵ֔ל

shall be bowed down

וְשַׁ֖ח

and the haughtiness

ר֣וּם

 

אֲנָשִׁ֑ים

alone shall be exalted

וְנִשְׂגַּ֧ב

and the LORD

יְהוָ֛ה

 

לְבַדּ֖וֹ

in that day

בַּיּ֥וֹם

 

הַהֽוּא׃

of hosts

צְבָא֛וֹת

shall be upon every one that is proud

גֵּאֶ֖ה

and lofty

וָרָ֑ם

and upon every one that is lifted up

נִשָּׂ֥א

and he shall be brought low

וְשָׁפֵֽל׃

 

וְעַל֙

And upon all the cedars

אַרְזֵ֣י

of Lebanon

הַלְּבָנ֔וֹן

that are high

הָרָמִ֖ים

and lifted up

וְהַנִּשָּׂאִ֑ים

and upon all the oaks

אַלּוֹנֵ֥י

of Bashan

וְהָאֱלִילִ֖ים

he shall utterly

abolish

יַחֲלֹֽף׃

And they shall go

וּבָ֙אוּ֙

into the holes

בִּמְעָר֣וֹת

of the rocks

צֻרִ֔ים

and into the caves

וּבִמְחִלּ֖וֹת

of the earth

עָפָ֑ר

for

מִפְּנֵ֞י

fear

פַּ֤חַד

of the LORD

יְהוָה֙

and for the glory

וּמֵהֲדַ֣ר

of his majesty

גְּאוֹנ֔וֹ

when he ariseth

בְּקוּמ֖וֹ

to shake terribly

לַעֲרֹ֥ץ

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

In that day

בַּיּ֤וֹם

of silver

כַסְפּ֔וֹ
