unto the children

בְּנֵ֤י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙

saying

לֵאמֹ֔ר

If a woman

אִשָּׁה֙

 

כִּ֣י

have conceived seed

תַזְרִ֔יעַ

and born

וְיָֽלְדָ֖ה

a man

זָכָ֑ר

child then she shall be unclean

תִּטְמָֽא׃

seven

שִׁבְעַ֣ת

according to the days

כִּימֵ֛י

according to the days

כִּימֵ֛י

of the separation

נִדַּ֥ת

for her infirmity

דְּוֹתָ֖הּ

child then she shall be unclean

תִּטְמָֽא׃

day

וּבַיּ֖וֹם

And in the eighth

הַשְּׁמִינִ֑י

shall be circumcised

יִמּ֖וֹל

the flesh

בְּשַׂ֥ר

of his foreskin

עָרְלָתֽוֹ׃

and thirty

וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים

days

יְמֵ֥י

וּשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת

יְמֵ֥י

And she shall then continue

תֵּשֵׁ֖ב

in the blood

בִּדְמֵ֣י

of her purifying

טָֽהֳרָֽהּ׃

 

בְּכָל

no hallowed

קֹ֣דֶשׁ

 

לֹֽא

she shall touch

תִגָּ֗ע

 

וְאֶל

into the sanctuary

הַמִּקְדָּשׁ֙

 

לֹ֣א

thing nor come

תָבֹ֔א

 

עַד

be fulfilled

מְלֹ֖את

days

יְמֵ֥י

of her purifying

טָֽהֳרָֽהּ׃

 

וְאִם

a maid

נְקֵבָ֣ה

But if she bear

תֵלֵ֔ד

child then she shall be unclean

וְטָֽמְאָ֥ה

two weeks

שְׁבֻעַ֖יִם

as in her separation

כְּנִדָּתָ֑הּ

threescore

וְשִׁשִּׁ֥ים

days

יָמִ֔ים

and six

וְשֵׁ֣שֶׁת

days

יָמִ֔ים

and she shall continue

תֵּשֵׁ֖ב

 

עַל

in the blood

דְּמֵ֥י

of her purifying

טָֽהֳרָֽה׃

are fulfilled

וּבִמְלֹ֣את׀

And when the days

יְמֵ֣י

 

טָֽהֳרָ֗הּ

and a young

וּבֶן

 

א֣וֹ

or for a daughter

לְבַת֒

she shall bring

תָּבִ֞יא

a lamb

כֶּ֤בֶשׂ

and a young

וּבֶן

year

שְׁנָתוֹ֙

for a burnt offering

לְעֹלָ֔ה

and a young

וּבֶן

pigeon

יוֹנָ֥ה

 

אוֹ

or a turtledove

תֹ֖ר

for a sin offering

לְחַטָּ֑את

 

אֶל

unto the door

פֶּ֥תַח

of the tabernacle

אֹֽהֶל

of the congregation

מוֹעֵ֖ד

 

אֶל

unto the priest

הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

Who shall offer

וְהִקְרִיב֞וֹ

it before

לִפְנֵ֤י

the LORD

יְהוָה֙

and make an atonement

וְכִפֶּ֣ר

 

עָלֶ֔יהָ

for her and she shall be cleansed

וְטָֽהֲרָ֖ה

from the issue

מִמְּקֹ֣ר

of her blood

דָּמֶ֑יהָ

 

זֹ֤את

This is the law

תּוֹרַת֙

for her that hath born

הַיֹּלֶ֔דֶת

a male

לַזָּכָ֖ר

 

א֥וֹ

or a female

לַנְּקֵבָֽה׃

 

וְאִם

 

לֹ֨א

And if she be not able to bring

תִמְצָ֣א

 

יָדָהּ֮

 

דֵּ֣י

a lamb

שֶׂה֒

then she shall bring

וְלָֽקְחָ֣ה

two

שְׁנֵי֙

turtles

תֹרִ֗ים

 

א֤וֹ

two

שְׁנֵי֙

or two young

בְּנֵ֣י

pigeons

יוֹנָ֔ה

and the other

וְאֶחָ֣ד

for the burnt offering

לְעֹלָ֖ה

and the other

וְאֶחָ֣ד

for a sin offering

לְחַטָּ֑את

shall make an atonement

וְכִפֶּ֥ר

 

עָלֶ֛יהָ

and the priest

הַכֹּהֵ֖ן

for her and she shall be clean

וְטָהֵֽרָה׃
