עֵ֖ז

in the camp

לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

or that killeth

יִשְׁחַ֔ט

מִח֖וּץ

in the camp

לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃

 

וְאֶל

it not unto the door

פֶּ֜תַח

of the tabernacle

אֹ֣הֶל

of the congregation

מוֹעֵד֮

 

לֹ֣א

And bringeth

הֱבִיאוֹ֒

to offer

לְהַקְרִ֤יב

an offering

קָרְבָּן֙

of the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

before

לִפְנֵ֖י

the tabernacle

מִשְׁכַּ֣ן

of the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

blood

דָּ֣ם

shall be imputed

יֵֽחָשֵׁ֞ב

and that man

הָאִ֥ישׁ

 

הַהוּא֙

blood

דָּ֣ם

he hath shed

שָׁפָ֔ךְ

shall be cut off

וְנִכְרַ֛ת

and that man

הָאִ֥ישׁ

 

הַה֖וּא

from among

מִקֶּ֥רֶב

his people

עַמּֽוֹ׃

 

לְמַעַן֩

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

even that they may bring

וֶֽהֱבִיאֻ֣ם

To the end that the children

בְּנֵ֣י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל

 

אֶֽת

offerings

זִבְחֵ֧י

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

 

הֵ֣ם

and offer

וְזָ֨בְח֜וּ

 

עַל

in the open

פְּנֵ֣י

field

הַשָּׂדֶה֒

even that they may bring

וֶֽהֱבִיאֻ֣ם

them unto the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֖ה

 

אֶל

unto the door

פֶּ֛תַח

of the tabernacle

אֹ֥הֶל

of the congregation

מוֹעֵ֖ד

 

אֶל

unto the priest

הַכֹּהֵ֑ן

and offer

וְזָ֨בְח֜וּ

them for peace

שְׁלָמִ֛ים

them unto the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֖ה

 

אוֹתָֽם׃

shall sprinkle

וְזָרַ֨ק

And the priest

הַכֹּהֵ֤ן

the blood

הַדָּם֙

 

עַל

upon the altar

מִזְבַּ֣ח

of the LORD

לַֽיהוָֽה׃

at the door

פֶּ֖תַח

of the tabernacle

אֹ֣הֶל

of the congregation

מוֹעֵ֑ד

and burn

וְהִקְטִ֣יר

the fat

הַחֵ֔לֶב

savour

לְרֵ֥יחַ

for a sweet

נִיחֹ֖חַ

of the LORD

לַֽיהוָֽה׃

 

וְלֹֽא

And they shall no more offer

יִזְבְּח֥וּ

 

עוֹד֙

 

אֶת

their sacrifices

זִבְחֵיהֶ֔ם

unto devils

לַשְּׂעִירִ֕ם

 

אֲשֶׁ֛ר

 

הֵ֥ם

whom they have gone a whoring

זֹנִ֖ים

after

אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם

This shall be a statute

חֻקַּ֥ת

for ever

עוֹלָ֛ם

 

תִּֽהְיֶה

 

זֹּ֥את

 

לָהֶ֖ם

unto them throughout their generations

לְדֹֽרֹתָֽם׃

 

וַֽאֲלֵהֶ֣ם

And thou shalt say

תֹּאמַ֔ר

unto them Whatsoever man

אִישׁ֙

there be of the house

מִבֵּ֣ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

 

וּמִן

or of the strangers

הַגֵּ֖ר

 

אֲשֶׁר

which sojourn

יָג֣וּר

בְּתוֹכָ֑ם

 

אֲשֶׁר

you that offereth

יַֽעֲלֶ֥ה

a burnt offering

עֹלָ֖ה

 

אוֹ

or sacrifice

זָֽבַח׃

 

וְאֶל

it not unto the door

of the tabernacle

בַּנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙

הָֽאֹכֶ֣לֶת

 

אֶת

any manner of blood

הַדָּ֔ם

and will cut him off

וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י

 

אֹתָ֖הּ

from among

מִקֶּ֥רֶב

his people

עַמָּֽהּ׃

For the life

בַּנֶּ֥פֶשׁ

of the flesh

הַבָּשָׂר֮

for it is the blood

and I have given

it to you upon the altar

הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

that maketh an atonement

of you shall eat

יֹ֥אכַל

blood

דָּֽם׃

neither shall any stranger

וְהַגֵּ֛ר

that sojourneth

בְּתֽוֹכְכֶ֖ם

וְכִסָּ֖הוּ

it with dust

בֶּֽעָפָֽר׃

For it is the life

thereof therefore I said

לֹ֣א

Ye shall eat

אֹֽכְלָ֖יו

 

כִּ֣י

For it is the life

נֶ֤פֶשׁ

דָּמ֣וֹ

 

הִ֔וא

 

כָּל

Ye shall eat

it shall be cut off

יִכָּרֵֽת׃

And every soul

נֶ֗פֶשׁ

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

that eateth

תֹּאכַ֤ל

that which died

נְבֵלָה֙

of itself or that which was torn

וּטְרֵפָ֔ה

with beasts whether it be one of your own country

בָּֽאֶזְרָ֖ח

or a stranger

וּבַגֵּ֑ר

he shall both wash

וְכִבֶּ֨ס

his clothes

בְּגָדָ֜יו

and bathe

וְרָחַ֥ץ

himself in water

בַּמַּ֛יִם

and be unclean

וְטָמֵ֥א

 

עַד

until the even

הָעֶ֖רֶב

then shall he be clean

וְטָהֵֽר׃

 

וְאִם֙

 

לֹ֣א

But if he wash

יְכַבֵּ֔ס

his flesh

וּבְשָׂר֖וֹ

 

לֹ֣א

them not nor bathe

יִרְחָ֑ץ

then he shall bear

וְנָשָׂ֖א

his iniquity

עֲוֹנֽוֹ׃
