After the doings

וּכְמַֽעֲשֵׂ֣ה

of the land

אֶֽרֶץ

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

wherein ye dwelt

יְשַׁבְתֶּם

 

בָּ֖הּ

 

לֹ֣א

shall ye not do

תַֽעֲשׂ֔וּ

After the doings

וּכְמַֽעֲשֵׂ֣ה

of the land

אֶֽרֶץ

of Canaan

כְּנַ֡עַן

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

 

אֲנִי֩

whither I bring

מֵבִ֨יא

 

אֶתְכֶ֥ם

 

שָׁ֙מָּה֙

 

לֹ֣א

shall ye not do

תַֽעֲשׂ֔וּ

in their ordinances

וּבְחֻקֹּֽתֵיהֶ֖ם

תֵלֵֽכוּ׃

מִשְׁפָּטַ֧י

Ye shall do

תַּֽעֲשׂ֛וּ

mine ordinances

חֻקֹּתַ֥י

and keep

תִּשְׁמְר֖וּ

 

לָלֶ֣כֶת

 

בָּהֶ֑ם

 

אֲנִ֖י

therein I am the LORD

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃

Ye shall therefore keep

וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֤ם

my statutes

חֻקֹּתַי֙

 

וְאֶת

and my judgments

מִשְׁפָּטַ֔י

which

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

do

יַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה

 

אֹתָ֛ם

if a man

הָֽאָדָ֖ם

he shall live

וָחַ֣י

 

בָּהֶ֑ם

 

אֲנִ֖י

in them I am the LORD

לְהַֽעֲבִ֣יר

לַמֹּ֑לֶךְ

תְחַלֵּ֛ל

שְׁכָבְתְּךָ֖

לְטָמְאָה

 

בָ֑הּ

thyself therewith neither shall any woman

וְאִשָּׁ֗ה

תַעֲמֹ֞ד

before

לִפְנֵ֧י

a beast

בְהֵמָ֛ה

to lie down

לְרִבְעָ֖הּ

thereto it is confusion

תֶּ֥בֶל

 

הֽוּא׃

נִטְמְא֣וּ

 

בְּכָל

not ye yourselves in any of these things

וַתִּטְמָ֣א

And the land

הָאָ֖רֶץ

therefore I do visit

וָֽאֶפְקֹ֥ד

the iniquity

עֲוֹנָ֖הּ

 

עָלֶ֑יהָ

itself vomiteth out

וַתָּקִ֥א

And the land

הָאָ֖רֶץ

 

אֶת

her inhabitants

יֹֽשְׁבֶֽיהָ׃

Ye shall therefore keep

וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֣ם

 

אַתֶּ֗ם

my statutes

חֻקֹּתַי֙

and my judgments

מִשְׁפָּטַ֔י

 

וְלֹ֣א

and shall not commit

תַֽעֲשׂ֔וּ

 

מִכֹּ֥ל

any of these abominations

הַתּֽוֹעֵבֹ֖ת

 

הָאֵ֑לֶּה

neither any of your own nation

הָֽאֶזְרָ֔ח

nor any stranger

וְהַגֵּ֖ר

that sojourneth

הַגָּ֥ר

among

בְּתֽוֹכְכֶֽם׃

 

כִּ֚י

 

אֶת

abominations

הַתּֽוֹעֵבֹ֣ת

For all these

הָאֵ֔ל

done

עָשׂ֥וּ

 

אַנְשֵֽׁי

of the land

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

which were before

לִפְנֵיכֶ֑ם

is defiled

וַתִּטְמָ֖א

of the land

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

 

וְלֹֽא

it as it spued out

קָאָ֛ה

That the land

אֶתְכֶ֔ם

also when ye defile

בְּטַֽמַּאֲכֶ֖ם

 

אֹתָ֑הּ

 

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר

הַגּ֖וֹי

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

that were before

לִפְנֵיכֶֽם׃

 

כִּ֚י

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

For whosoever shall commit

הָֽעֹשֹׂ֖ת

 

מִכֹּ֥ל

any of these abominations

הַתּֽוֹעֵבֹ֖ת

 

הָאֵ֑לֶּה

them shall be cut off

וְנִכְרְת֛וּ

even the souls

הַנְּפָשׁ֥וֹת

For whosoever shall commit

הָֽעֹשֹׂ֖ת

from among

מִקֶּ֥רֶב

their people

עַמָּֽם׃

Therefore shall ye keep

וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֣ם

 

אֶת

mine ordinance

מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֗י

 

לְבִלְתִּ֨י

that ye commit

נַֽעֲשׂ֣וּ

customs

מֵֽחֻקּ֤וֹת

not any one of these abominable

הַתּֽוֹעֵבֹת֙

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that ye commit

נַֽעֲשׂ֣וּ

before

לִפְנֵיכֶ֔ם

 

וְלֹ֥א

you and that ye defile

תִֽטַּמְּא֖וּ

 

בָּהֶ֑ם

 

אֲנִ֖י

not yourselves therein I am the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

your God

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃
