תִּירָ֔אוּ

my sabbaths

and keep

תִּשְׁמֹ֑רוּ

 

אֲנִ֖י

I am the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

your God

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃

 

אַל

Turn

תִּפְנוּ֙

 

אֶל

ye not unto idols

הָ֣אֱלִילִ֔ם

gods

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃

to yourselves molten

מַסֵּכָ֔ה

 

לֹ֥א

nor make

תַֽעֲשׂ֖וּ

 

לָכֶ֑ם

 

אֲנִ֖י

I am the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

gods

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃

 

וְכִ֧י

And if ye offer

תִּזְבָּחֻֽהוּ׃

a sacrifice

זֶ֥בַח

of peace offerings

שְׁלָמִ֖ים

unto the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֑ה

it at your own will

לִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֖ם

And if ye offer

תִּזְבָּחֻֽהוּ׃

day

י֣וֹם

ye offer

זִבְחֲכֶ֛ם

It shall be eaten

יֵֽאָכֵ֖ל

it and on the morrow

וּמִֽמָּחֳרָ֑ת

and if ought remain

וְהַנּוֹתָר֙

 

עַד

day

י֣וֹם

until the third

הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י

in the fire

בָּאֵ֖שׁ

it shall be burnt

יִשָּׂרֵֽף׃

 

וְאִ֛ם

 

הֵֽאָכֹ֥ל

And if it be eaten

יֵֽאָכֵ֖ל

day

בַּיּ֣וֹם

on the third

הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י

it is abominable

פִּגּ֥וּל

 

ה֖וּא

 

לֹ֥א

it shall not be accepted

יֵֽרָצֶֽה׃

Therefore every one that eateth

וְאֹֽכְלָיו֙

his iniquity

עֲוֹנ֣וֹ

it shall bear

יִשָּׂ֔א

 

כִּֽי

 

אֶת

the hallowed thing

קֹ֥דֶשׁ

of the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

because he hath profaned

חִלֵּ֑ל

shall be cut off

וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה

and that soul

הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ

 

הַהִ֖וא

from among his people

מֵֽעַמֶּֽיהָ׃

And when ye reap

וּֽבְקֻצְרְכֶם֙

of thy harvest

קְצִֽירְךָ֖

of your land

אַרְצְכֶ֔ם

 

לֹ֧א

thou shalt not wholly reap

תְכַלֶּ֛ה

the corners

פְּאַ֥ת

of thy field

לִקְצֹ֑ר

the gleanings

וְלֶ֥קֶט

of thy harvest

קְצִֽירְךָ֖

 

לֹ֥א

neither shalt thou gather

תְלַקֵּֽט׃

of thy vineyard

כַּרְמְךָ֖

And thou shalt not glean

תְעוֹלֵ֔ל

every grape

וּפֶ֥רֶט

of thy vineyard

neither shalt thou gather

תְלַקֵּ֑ט

them for the poor

לֶֽעָנִ֤י

and stranger

וְלַגֵּר֙

thou shalt leave

תַּֽעֲזֹ֣ב

אֲנִ֖י

I am the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

your God

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃

 

לֹ֖א

Ye shall not steal

תִּגְנֹ֑בוּ

 

וְלֹֽא

neither deal falsely

תְכַחֲשׁ֥וּ

 

וְלֹֽא

neither lie

תְשַׁקְּר֖וּ

אִ֥ישׁ

to another

בַּֽעֲמִיתֽוֹ׃

 

וְלֹֽא

And ye shall not swear

תִשָּׁבְע֥וּ

by my name

שֵׁ֥ם

falsely

לַשָּׁ֑קֶר

neither shalt thou profane

וְחִלַּלְתָּ֛

 

אֶת

by my name

שֵׁ֥ם

of thy God

אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ

 

אֲנִ֥י

Thou shalt not defraud

תַעֲשֹׁ֥ק

וְלֹ֣א

neither rob

תִגְזֹ֑ל

תָלִ֞ין

no unrighteousness

בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֔ט

thou shalt not respect

וְלֹ֥א

nor honour

תֶהְדַּ֖ר

And when ye shall come

all manner of trees

עֵ֣ץ

for food

מַֽאֲכָ֔ל

then ye shall count

וַֽעֲרַלְתֶּ֥ם

 

עָרְלָת֖וֹ

 

אֶת

the fruit

פִּרְי֑וֹ

three

שָׁלֹ֣שׁ

years

שָׁנִ֗ים

 

יִֽהְיֶ֥ה

 

לָכֶ֛ם

shall it be as uncircumcised

עֲרֵלִ֖ים

 

לֹ֥א

unto you it shall not be eaten

יֵֽאָכֵֽל׃

וּבַשָּׁנָה֙

But in the fourth

הָֽרְבִיעִ֔ת

הַֽחֲמִישִׁ֗ת

shall ye eat

פִּרְי֔וֹ

thereof that it may yield

לְהוֹסִ֥יף

 

לָכֶ֖ם

unto you the increase

תְּבֽוּאָת֑וֹ

 

אֲנִ֖י
