לְעֵ֔ד

הִנֵּ֥ה

For behold the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

cometh forth

יֹצֵ֣א

out of his place

מִמְּקוֹמ֑וֹ

and will come down

וְיָרַ֥ד

and tread

וְדָרַ֖ךְ

 

עַל

upon the high places

בָּ֥מֳותֵי

of the earth

אָֽרֶץ׃

shall be molten

וְנָמַ֤סּוּ

And the mountains

הֶֽהָרִים֙

 

תַּחְתָּ֔יו

under him and the valleys

וְהָעֲמָקִ֖ים

shall be cleft

יִתְבַּקָּ֑עוּ

as wax

כַּדּוֹנַג֙

before

מִפְּנֵ֣י

the fire

הָאֵ֔שׁ

and as the waters

כְּמַ֖יִם

that are poured

מֻגָּרִ֥ים

down a steep place

בְּמוֹרָֽד׃

For the transgression

פֶ֣שַׁע

of Jacob

יַעֲקֹ֗ב

 

כָּל

 

זֹ֔את

is all this and for the sins

וּבְחַטֹּ֖אות

of the house

בֵּ֣ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

For the transgression

הֲלוֹא֙

is it not Samaria

שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן

 

וּמִי֙

and what are the high places

בָּמ֣וֹת

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֔ה

 

הֲל֖וֹא

are they not Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

Therefore I will make

וְשַׂמְתִּ֥י

Samaria

שֹׁמְר֛וֹן

as an heap

לְעִ֥י

of the field

הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה

and as plantings

לְמַטָּ֣עֵי

of a vineyard

כָ֑רֶם

and I will pour down

וְהִגַּרְתִּ֤י

thereof into the valley

לַגַּי֙

the stones

אֲבָנֶ֔יהָ

the foundations

וִיסֹדֶ֖יהָ

and I will discover

אֲגַלֶּֽה׃

 

וְכָל

And all the graven images

פְּסִילֶ֣יהָ

thereof shall be beaten to pieces

יֻכַּ֗תּוּ

 

וְכָל

and all the hires

אֶתְנַ֥ן

thereof shall be burned

יִשָּׂרְפ֣וּ

with the fire

בָאֵ֔שׁ

 

וְכָל

and all the idols

עֲצַבֶּ֖יהָ

thereof will I lay

אָשִׂ֣ים

desolate

שְׁמָמָ֑ה

 

כִּ֠י

and all the hires

אֶתְנַ֥ן

of an harlot

זוֹנָ֖ה

for she gathered

קִבָּ֔צָה

 

וְעַד

and all the hires

אֶתְנַ֥ן

זוֹנָ֖ה

and they shall return

יָשֽׁוּבוּ׃

 

עַל

Therefore I will wail

אֶסְפְּדָ֣ה

and howl

וְאֵילִ֔ילָה

 

אֵילְכָ֥ה

שׁיֹלָ֖ל

and naked

וְעָר֑וֹם

I will make

אֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה

a wailing

מִסְפֵּד֙

like the dragons

כַּתַּנִּ֔ים

and mourning

וְאֵ֖בֶל

as the owls

כִּבְנ֥וֹת

 

יַעֲנָֽה׃

 

כִּ֥י

is incurable

אֲנוּשָׁ֖ה

For her wound

מַכּוֹתֶ֑יהָ

 

כִּי

for it is come

בָ֙אָה֙

 

עַד

unto Judah

יְהוּדָ֔ה

he is come

unto the gate

Therefore shalt thou give

גַּ֑ת

the houses

בָּתֵּ֤י

אַכְזִיב֙

עֹ֗ד

כְּב֥וֹד

Make thee bald

קָרְחִ֣י

and poll

וָגֹ֔זִּי

 

עַל

children

בְּנֵ֖י

thee for thy delicate

תַּעֲנוּגָ֑יִךְ

enlarge

הַרְחִ֤בִי

thy baldness

קָרְחָתֵךְ֙

as the eagle

כַּנֶּ֔שֶׁר

 

כִּ֥י

for they are gone into captivity
