הֲיִרְצֶ֤ה

יְהוָה֙

with thousands

בְּאַלְפֵ֣י

shall I give

הַאֶתֵּ֤ן

חַטַּ֥את

of my soul

נַפְשִֽׁי׃

He hath shewed

וְאַ֣הֲבַת

mercy

חֶ֔סֶד

humbly

וְהַצְנֵ֥עַ

אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃

The LORD'S

יְהוָה֙

unto the city

לָעִ֣יר

crieth

יִקְרָ֔א

and the man of wisdom

וְתוּשִׁיָּ֖ה

shall see

יִרְאֶ֣ה

thy name

שְׁמֶ֑ךָ

hear

שִׁמְע֥וּ

ye the rod

מַטֶּ֖ה

 

וּמִ֥י

and who hath appointed

יְעָדָֽהּ׃

 

ע֗וֹד

Are there

הַאִשׁ֙

in the house

בֵּ֣ית

of the wicked

רָשָׁ֔ע

yet the treasures

אֹצְר֖וֹת

of wickedness

רֶ֑שַׁע

measure

וְאֵיפַ֥ת

and the scant

רָז֖וֹן

that is abominable

זְעוּמָֽה׃

Shall I count them pure

הַאֶזְכֶּ֖ה

balances

בְּמֹ֣אזְנֵי

with the wicked

רֶ֑שַׁע

and with the bag

וּבְכִ֖יס

weights

אַבְנֵ֥י

of deceitful

מִרְמָֽה׃

 

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

For the rich men

עֲשִׁירֶ֙יהָ֙

thereof are full

מָלְא֣וּ

of violence

חָמָ֔ס

and the inhabitants

וְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָ

thereof have spoken

דִּבְּרוּ

lies

שָׁ֑קֶר

and their tongue

וּלְשׁוֹנָ֖ם

is deceitful

רְמִיָּ֥ה

in their mouth

בְּפִיהֶֽם׃

 

וְגַם

 

אֲנִ֖י

Therefore also will I make thee sick

הֶחֱלֵ֣יתִי

in smiting

הַכּוֹתֶ֑ךָ

thee in making thee desolate

הַשְׁמֵ֖ם

 

עַל

because of thy sins

חַטֹּאתֶֽךָ׃

 

אַתָּ֤ה

Thou shalt eat

תֹאכַל֙

 

וְלֹ֣א

but not be satisfied

תִשְׂבָּ֔ע

and thy casting down

וְיֶשְׁחֲךָ֖

shall be in the midst

בְּקִרְבֶּ֑ךָ

of thee and thou shalt take hold

וְתַסֵּג֙

 

וְלֹ֣א

and that which thou deliverest

תְּפַלֵּ֖ט

 

וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר

and that which thou deliverest

תְּפַלֵּ֖ט

to the sword

לַחֶ֥רֶב

will I give up

אֶתֵּֽן׃

Thou shalt sow

תִזְרַ֖ע

 

וְלֹ֣א

but thou shalt not reap
