are the dust

אֲבַ֥ק

of his feet

רַגְלָֽיו׃

He rebuketh

גּוֹעֵ֤ר

the sea

בַּיָּם֙

and drieth up

וַֽיַּבְּשֵׁ֔הוּ

 

וְכָל

all the rivers

הַנְּהָר֖וֹת

and maketh it dry

הֶֽחֱרִ֑יב

languisheth

אֻמְלָֽל׃

Bashan

בָּשָׁן֙

and Carmel

וְכַרְמֶ֔ל

and the flower

וּפֶ֥רַח

of Lebanon

לְבָנ֖וֹן

languisheth

אֻמְלָֽל׃

The mountains

הָרִים֙

quake

רָעֲשׁ֣וּ

 

מִמֶּ֔נּוּ

at him and the hills

וְהַגְּבָע֖וֹת

melt

הִתְמֹגָ֑גוּ

is burned

וַתִּשָּׂ֤א

and the earth

הָאָ֙רֶץ֙

at his presence

מִפָּנָ֔יו

yea the world

וְתֵבֵ֖ל

 

וְכָל

and all that dwell

י֥וֹשְׁבֵי

 

בָֽהּ׃

before

לִפְנֵ֤י

his indignation

זַעְמוֹ֙

 

מִ֣י

יַֽעֲמ֔וֹד

 

וּמִ֥י

and who can abide

יָק֖וּם

in the fierceness

בַּחֲר֣וֹן

of his anger

אַפּ֑וֹ

his fury

חֲמָתוֹ֙

is poured out

נִתְּכָ֣ה

like fire

כָאֵ֔שׁ

and the rocks

וְהַצֻּרִ֖ים

are thrown down

נִתְּצ֥וּ

 

מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃

is good

ט֣וֹב

The LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

a strong hold

לְמָע֖וֹז

in the day

בְּי֣וֹם

of trouble

צָרָ֑ה

and he knoweth

וְיֹדֵ֖עַ

them that trust

חֹ֥סֵי

 

בֽוֹ׃

flood

וּבְשֶׁ֣טֶף

But with an overrunning

עֹבֵ֔ר

an utter end

כָּלָ֖ה

he will make

יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה

of the place

מְקוֹמָ֑הּ

his enemies

וְאֹיְבָ֖יו

shall pursue

יְרַדֶּף

thereof and darkness

חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃

What do ye imagine

תְּחַשְּׁבוּן֙

For while they be folden together

סְבֻכִ֔ים

as drunkards

וּכְסָבְאָ֖ם

and while they are drunken

סְבוּאִ֑ים

they shall be devoured

אֻ֨כְּל֔וּ

as stubble

כְּקַ֥שׁ

יָבֵ֖שׁ

מִמֵּ֣ךְ

There is one come out

יָצָ֔א

of thee that imagineth

חֹשֵׁ֥ב

 

עַל

against the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

evil

רָעָ֑ה

counsellor

יֹעֵ֖ץ

a wicked

בְּלִיָּֽעַל׃

 

כֹּ֣ה׀

Thus saith

אָמַ֣ר

the LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

 

אִם

Though they be quiet

שְׁלֵמִים֙

 

וְכֵ֣ן

and likewise many

רַבִּ֔ים

 

וְכֵ֥ן

yet thus shall they be cut down

נָג֖וֹזּוּ

when he shall pass through

וְעָבָ֑ר

Though I have afflicted

אֲעַנֵּ֖ךְ

 

לֹ֥א

עֽוֹד׃

 

וְעַתָּ֕ה

For now will I break

אֶשְׁבֹּ֥ר

his yoke

מֹטֵ֖הוּ

 

מֵֽעָלָ֑יִךְ

thy bonds

וּמוֹסְרֹתַ֖יִךְ

from off thee and will burst

אֲנַתֵּֽק׃

hath given a commandment

וְצִוָּ֤ה

 

עָלֶ֙יךָ֙

And the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

 

לֹֽא

be sown

יִזָּרַ֥ע

concerning thee that no more of thy name

מִשִּׁמְךָ֖

 

ע֑וֹד

out of the house

מִבֵּ֨ית

of thy gods

אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ

will I cut off

אַכְרִ֨ית

the graven image

פֶּ֧סֶל

and the molten image

וּמַסֵּכָ֛ה

I will make

אָשִׂ֥ים

thy grave

קִבְרֶ֖ךָ

 

כִּ֥י

for thou art vile

קַלּֽוֹתָ׃

 

הִנֵּ֨ה

Behold upon the mountains

O Judah

יְהוּדָ֛ה

thy solemn feasts

חַגַּ֖יִךְ

שַׁלְּמִ֣י

thy vows

נְדָרָ֑יִךְ
