הַמְּנוֹרָ֔ה

so he lighted

הֶֽעֱלָ֖ה

the lamps

נֵֽרֹתֶ֑יהָ

 

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר

commanded

צִוָּ֥ה

as the LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

Moses

מֹשֶֽׁה׃

 

וְזֶ֨ה

And this work

מַֽעֲשֵׂ֤ה

of the candlestick

הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃

thereof was beaten work

מִקְשָׁ֣ה

gold

זָהָ֔ב

 

עַד

unto the shaft

יְרֵכָ֥הּ

 

עַד

thereof unto the flowers

פִּרְחָ֖הּ

thereof was beaten work

מִקְשָׁ֣ה

 

הִ֑וא

according unto the pattern

כַּמַּרְאֶ֗ה

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

had shewed

הֶרְאָ֤ה

which the LORD

יְהוָה֙

כֵּ֥ן

so he made

עָשָׂ֖ה

הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃

And the LORD

unto Moses

מֹשֶׁ֥ה

saying

לֵּאמֹֽר׃

Take

קַ֚ח

 

אֶת

the Levites

הַלְוִיִּ֔ם

from among

מִתּ֖וֹךְ

the children

בְּנֵ֣י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

and cleanse

וְטִֽהַרְתָּ֖

 

אֹתָֽם׃

 

וְכֹֽה

And thus shalt thou do

תַעֲשֶׂ֤ה

 

לָהֶם֙

and so make themselves clean

וְהִטֶּהָֽרוּ׃

them Sprinkle

הַזֵּ֥ה

 

עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם

water

מֵ֣י

of purifying

חַטָּ֑את

 

וְהֶֽעֱבִ֤ירוּ

upon them and let them shave

תַ֙עַר֙

 

עַל

 

כָּל

all their flesh

בְּשָׂרָ֔ם

and let them wash

וְכִבְּס֥וּ

their clothes

בִגְדֵיהֶ֖ם

and so make themselves clean

וְהִטֶּהָֽרוּ׃

Then let them take

תִּקַּ֥ח

bullock

וּפַר

a young

בֶן

 

בָּקָ֔ר

with his meat offering

וּמִנְחָת֔וֹ

even fine flour

סֹ֖לֶת

mingled

בְּלוּלָ֣ה

with oil

בַשָּׁ֑מֶן

bullock

וּפַר

and another

שֵׁנִ֥י

a young

בֶן

 

בָּקָ֖ר

Then let them take

תִּקַּ֥ח

for a sin offering

לְחַטָּֽאת׃

And thou shalt bring

וְהִקְרַבְתָּ֙

 

אֶת

the Levites

הַלְוִיִּ֔ם

before

לִפְנֵ֖י

the tabernacle

אֹ֣הֶל

of the congregation

מוֹעֵ֑ד

and thou shalt gather

וְהִ֨קְהַלְתָּ֔

 

אֶֽת

 

כָּל

the whole assembly

עֲדַ֖ת

of the children

בְּנֵ֥י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And thou shalt bring

וְהִקְרַבְתָּ֥

the Levites

הַלְוִיִּֽם׃

לִפְנֵ֣י

the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

shall put

וְסָֽמְכ֧וּ

and the children

בְנֵֽי

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל

their hands

יְדֵיהֶ֖ם

the Levites

הַלְוִיִּֽם׃

shall offer

וְהֵנִיף֩

And Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹ֨ן

for an offering

תְּנוּפָה֙

לִפְנֵ֣י

of the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

מֵאֵ֖ת

וְהָי֕וּ

that they may execute

לַֽעֲבֹ֖ד

the service

עֲבֹדַ֥ת

And the Levites

הַלְוִיִּֽם׃

shall lay

יִסְמְכ֣וּ

 

אֶת

their hands

יְדֵיהֶ֔ם

 

עַ֖ל

upon the heads

רֹ֣אשׁ

of the bullocks

הַפָּרִ֑ים

and thou shalt offer

וַֽ֠עֲשֵׂה

 

אֶת

and the other

הָֽאֶחָ֤ד

for a sin offering

חַטָּ֜את

 

וְאֶת

and the other

הָֽאֶחָ֤ד

for a burnt offering

עֹלָה֙

unto the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֔ה

to make an atonement

לְכַפֵּ֖ר

And the Levites

הַלְוִיִּֽם׃

And thou shalt set

וְהַֽעֲמַדְתָּ֙

 

אֶת

the Levites

הַלְוִיִּ֔ם

and before

וְלִפְנֵ֣י

Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹ֖ן

and before

וְלִפְנֵ֣י

his sons

בָנָ֑יו

and offer

וְהֵֽנַפְתָּ֥

them for an offering

תְּנוּפָ֖ה

unto the LORD

לַֽיהוָֽה׃

Thus shalt thou separate

וְהִבְדַּלְתָּ֙

and the Levites

הַלְוִיִּֽם׃

from among

מִתּ֖וֹךְ

the children

בְּנֵ֣י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

 

וְהָ֥יוּ

 

לִ֖י

and the Levites

And after

וְאַֽחֲרֵי

 

כֵן֙

go in

יָבֹ֣אוּ

that shall the Levites

הַלְוִיִּ֔ם

to do the service

לַֽעֲבֹ֖ד

of the tabernacle

and thou shalt cleanse

וְטִֽהַרְתָּ֣

that I smote

בְּכוֹר֙

in the land

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ

of Egypt

מִצְרַ֔יִם

I sanctified

הִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּי

 

אֹתָ֖ם

And I have taken

וָֽאֶקַּ֖ח

the Levites

הַלְוִיִּ֔ם

for all the firstborn

וַיִּֽתְחַטְּא֣וּ

And the Levites

and they washed

וַֽיְכַבְּסוּ֙

their clothes

בִּגְדֵיהֶ֔ם

וַיָּ֨נֶף

and Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹ֖ן

them as an offering

לִפְנֵ֣י

the LORD

יְהוָ֑ה

made an atonement

וַיְכַפֵּ֧ר

 

עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם

and Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹ֖ן

for them to cleanse

לְטַֽהֲרָֽם׃

וְאַֽחֲרֵי

 

כֵ֞ן

that went

בָּ֣אוּ

concerning the Levites

הַלְוִיִּ֔ם

לַֽעֲבֹ֤ד

their service

עֲבֹֽדָתָם֙

in the tabernacle

בְּאֹ֣הֶל

of the congregation

מוֹעֵ֔ד

and before

וְלִפְנֵ֣י

Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹ֖ן

his sons

מֹשֶׁ֥ה

לֵּאמֹֽר׃

 

זֹ֖את

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

This is it that belongeth unto the Levites

לַלְוִיִּ֑ם

old

מִבֶּן֩

and five

חָמֵ֨שׁ

from twenty

וְעֶשְׂרִ֤ים

years

שָׁנָה֙

and upward

וָמַ֔עְלָה

they shall go in

יָבוֹא֙

to wait

לִצְבֹ֣א

 

צָבָ֔א

upon the service

בַּֽעֲבֹדַ֖ת

of the tabernacle

אֹ֥הֶל

of the congregation

מוֹעֵֽד׃

And from the age

וּמִבֶּן֙

of fifty

חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים

years

שָׁנָ֔ה

they shall cease

יָשׁ֖וּב

waiting

מִצְּבָ֣א

upon the service

הָֽעֲבֹדָ֑ה

 

וְלֹ֥א

thereof and shall serve

יַֽעֲבֹ֖ד

 

עֽוֹד׃

But shall minister

וְשֵׁרֵ֨ת

 

אֶת

with their brethren

אֶחָ֜יו

in the tabernacle

בְּאֹ֤הֶל

of the congregation

מוֹעֵד֙

to keep

לִשְׁמֹ֣ר

the charge

בְּמִשְׁמְרֹתָֽם׃

no service

וַֽעֲבֹדָ֖ה

 

לֹ֣א

and shall do

יַֽעֲבֹ֑ד

 

כָּ֛כָה

Thus shalt thou do

תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה

unto the Levites

לַלְוִיִּ֖ם

the charge

בְּמִשְׁמְרֹתָֽם׃
