אֲנָשִׁ֗ים

הָי֤וּ

who were defiled

טְמֵאִים֙

by the dead body

לְנֶ֣פֶשׁ

of a man

אָדָ֔ם

 

וְלֹֽא

that they could

יָכְל֥וּ

not keep

לַֽעֲשֹׂת

the passover

הַפֶּ֖סַח

on that day

בַּיּ֥וֹם

 

הַה֑וּא

and they came

וַֽיִּקְרְב֞וּ

and before

וְלִפְנֵ֥י

Moses

מֹשֶׁ֛ה

and before

וְלִפְנֵ֥י

Aaron

אַֽהֲרֹ֖ן

on that day

בַּיּ֥וֹם

 

הַהֽוּא׃

said

וַ֠יֹּֽאמְרוּ

 

הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֤ים

And those

הָהֵ֙מָּה֙

 

אֵלָ֔יו

 

אֲנַ֥חְנוּ

unto him We are defiled

טְמֵאִ֖ים

by the dead body

לְנֶ֣פֶשׁ

of a man

אָדָ֑ם

 

לָ֣מָּה

wherefore are we kept back

נִגָּרַ֗ע

 

לְבִלְתִּ֨י

that we may not offer

הַקְרִ֜יב

 

אֶת

an offering

קָרְבַּ֤ן

of the LORD

יְהוָה֙

in his appointed season

בְּמֹ֣עֲד֔וֹ

among

בְּת֖וֹךְ

the children

בְּנֵ֥י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

אֲלֵהֶ֖ם

And Moses

מֹשֶׁ֑ה

unto them Stand still

עִמְד֣וּ

and I will hear

וְאֶשְׁמְעָ֔ה

what the LORD

לָכֶֽם׃

Speak

דַּבֵּ֛ר

 

אֶל

unto the children

בְּנֵ֥י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

לֵאמֹ֑ר

If any

אִ֣ישׁ

כִּי

 

יִהְיֶֽה

shall be unclean

טָמֵ֣א׀

by reason of a dead body

לָנֶ֡פֶשׁ

 

אוֹ֩

or be in a journey

בְדֶ֨רֶךְ

afar off

רְחֹקָ֜הׄ

 

לָכֶ֗ם

 

א֚וֹ

of you or of your posterity

לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם

yet he shall keep

וְעָ֥שָׂה

the passover

פֶ֖סַח

unto the LORD

nor break

יִשְׁבְּרוּ

 

ב֑וֹ

 

כְּכָל

of it according to all the ordinances

חֻקַּ֥ת

of the passover

הַפֶּ֖סַח

they shall keep

יַֽעֲשׂ֥וּ

 

אֹתֽוֹ׃

But the man

הָאִ֥ישׁ

 

אֲשֶׁר

 

ה֨וּא

that is clean

טָה֜וֹר

and is not in a journey

וּבְדֶ֣רֶךְ

 

לֹֽא

 

הָיָ֗ה

and forbeareth

וְחָדַל֙

to keep

לַֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת

the passover

הַפֶּ֔סַח

shall be cut off

וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה

even the same soul

הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ

 

הַהִ֖וא

from among his people

מֵֽעַמֶּ֑יהָ

 

כִּ֣י׀

not the offering

קָרְבַּ֣ן

of the LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

 

לֹ֤א

because he brought

הִקְרִיב֙

in his appointed season

בְּמֹ֣עֲד֔וֹ

his sin

חֶטְא֥וֹ

shall bear

יִשָּׂ֖א

But the man

הָאִ֥ישׁ

 

הַהֽוּא׃

 

וְכִֽי

shall sojourn

יָג֨וּר

 

אִתְּכֶ֜ם

And if a stranger

וְלַגֵּ֖ר

among you and will keep

יַֽעֲשֶׂ֑ה

of the passover

הַפֶּ֛סַח

unto the LORD

לַֽיהוָ֔ה

according to the ordinance

חֻקָּ֤ה

of the passover

הַפֶּ֛סַח

and according to the manner

וּכְמִשְׁפָּט֖וֹ

 

כֵּ֣ן

among you and will keep

יַֽעֲשֶׂ֑ה

according to the ordinance

חֻקָּ֤ה

ye shall have one

אַחַת֙

 

יִֽהְיֶ֣ה

 

לָכֶ֔ם

the cloud

הֶֽעָנָן֙

namely the tent

לְאֹ֖הֶל

of the testimony

הָֽעֵדֻ֑ת

and at even

וּבָעֶ֜רֶב

 

יִֽהְיֶ֧ה

as it were the appearance

כְּמַרְאֵה

of fire

אֵ֖שׁ

 

עַד

until the morning

בֹּֽקֶר׃

So it was alway

תָמִ֔יד

the cloud

הֶֽעָנָ֖ן

covered

יְכַסֶּ֑נּוּ

it by day and the appearance

וּמַרְאֵה

of fire

אֵ֖שׁ

by night

לָֽיְלָה׃

And when

וּלְפִ֞י

was taken up

הֵֽעָל֤וֹת

the cloud

הֶֽעָנָ֔ן

 

מֵעַ֣ל

from the tabernacle

הָאֹ֔הֶל

then after

וְאַ֣חֲרֵי

 

כֵ֔ן

journeyed

יִסְע֖וּ

that the children

בְּנֵ֥י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

and in the place

וּבִמְק֗וֹם

 

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

abode

יִשְׁכָּן

 

שָׁם֙

the cloud

הֶֽעָנָ֔ן

pitched their tents

יַֽחֲנ֖וּ

that the children

was taken up

וְנַֽעֲלָ֥ה

and that the cloud

in the morning

then they journeyed

וְנָסָֽעוּ׃

וָלַ֔יְלָה

וְנַֽעֲלָ֥ה
