לְהַשְׁבִּ֥ית

the enemy

and the avenger

אֶרְאֶ֣ה

thy heavens

שָׁ֭מֶיךָ

the work

מַעֲשֵׂ֣י

of thy fingers

אֶצְבְּעֹתֶ֑יךָ

the moon

יָרֵ֥חַ

and the stars

וְ֝כוֹכָבִ֗ים

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

which thou hast ordained

כּוֹנָֽנְתָּה׃

What is man

אֱנ֥וֹשׁ

 

כִּֽי

that thou art mindful

תִזְכְּרֶ֑נּוּ

of him and the son

וּבֶן

of man

אָ֝דָ֗ם

 

כִּ֣י

that thou visitest

תִפְקְדֶֽנּוּ׃

lower

וַתְּחַסְּרֵ֣הוּ

For thou hast made him a little

מְּ֭עַט

than the angels

מֵאֱלֹהִ֑ים

him with glory

וְכָב֖וֹד

and honour

וְהָדָ֣ר

and hast crowned

תְּעַטְּרֵֽהוּ׃

Thou madest him to have dominion

תַּ֭מְשִׁילֵהוּ

over the works

בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣י

of thy hands

יָדֶ֑יךָ

all things under his feet

רַגְלָֽיו׃

and oxen

yea and the beasts

בַּהֲמ֥וֹת

of the field

and whatsoever passeth through
