for her with great

גְדוֹלָ֖ה

I was jealous

קִנֵּ֥אתִי

 

לָֽהּ׃

 

כֹּ֚ה

Thus saith

אָמַ֣ר

of the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

I am returned

שַׁ֚בְתִּי

 

אֶל

unto Zion

צִיּ֔וֹן

and will dwell

וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֖י

in the midst

בְּת֣וֹךְ

and Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙

shall be called

וְנִקְרְאָ֤ה

and Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙

a city

עִ֣יר

of truth

הָֽאֱמֶ֔ת

and the mountain

הַ֥ר

of the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

of hosts

צְבָא֖וֹת

and the mountain

הַ֥ר

the holy

הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

 

כֹּ֤ה

Thus saith

אָמַר֙

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

of hosts

צְבָא֔וֹת

 

עֹ֤ד

dwell

יֵֽשְׁבוּ֙

There shall yet old men

וּזְקֵנ֔וֹת

There shall yet old men

וּזְקֵנ֔וֹת

in the streets

בִּרְחֹב֖וֹת

of Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

and every man

וְאִ֧ישׁ

with his staff

מִשְׁעַנְתּ֛וֹ

in his hand

בְּיָד֖וֹ

for very

מֵרֹ֥ב

age

יָמִֽים׃

And the streets

בִּרְחֹֽבֹתֶֽיהָ׃

of the city

הָעִיר֙

shall be full

יִמָּ֣לְא֔וּ

of boys

יְלָדִ֖ים

and girls

וִֽילָד֑וֹת

playing

מְשַׂחֲקִ֖ים

And the streets

בִּרְחֹֽבֹתֶֽיהָ׃

 

כֹּ֤ה

Thus saith

אָמַר֙

the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

of hosts

צְבָאֽוֹת׃

 

כִּ֣י

If it be marvellous

יִפָּלֵ֔א

in mine eyes

בְּעֵינַי֙

of the remnant

שְׁאֵרִית֙

of this people

הָעָ֣ם

 

הַזֶּ֔ה

in these days

בַּיָּמִ֖ים

 

הָהֵ֑ם

 

גַּם

in mine eyes

בְּעֵינַי֙

If it be marvellous

יִפָּלֵ֔א

saith

נְאֻ֖ם

the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

of hosts

צְבָאֽוֹת׃

 

כֹּ֤ה

Thus saith

אָמַר֙

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

of hosts

צְבָא֔וֹת

 

הִנְנִ֥י

Behold I will save

מוֹשִׁ֛יעַ

 

אֶת

my people

עַמִּ֖י

country

וּמֵאֶ֖רֶץ

from the east

מִזְרָ֑ח

country

וּמֵאֶ֖רֶץ

and from the west

מְב֥וֹא

 

הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃

And I will bring

וְהֵבֵאתִ֣י

 

אֹתָ֔ם

them and they shall dwell

וְשָׁכְנ֖וּ

in the midst

בְּת֣וֹךְ

of Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

 

וְהָיוּ

 

לִ֣י

and they shall be my people

לְעָ֗ם

 

וַֽאֲנִי֙

 

אֶהְיֶ֤ה

 

לָהֶם֙

and I will be their God

לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים

in truth

בֶּאֱמֶ֖ת

and in righteousness

וּבִצְדָקָֽה׃

 

כֹּֽה

Thus saith

אָמַר֮

of the LORD

יְהוָ֧ה

of hosts

צְבָא֛וֹת

be strong

תֶּחֱזַ֣קְנָה

Let your hands

יְדֵיכֶ֔ם

ye that hear

הַשֹּֽׁמְעִים֙

in these days

בְּי֞וֹם

 

הָאֵ֔לֶּה

 

אֵ֖ת

these words

הַדְּבָרִ֣ים

 

הָאֵ֑לֶּה

by the mouth

מִפִּי֙

of the prophets

הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים

 

אֲ֠שֶׁר

in these days

בְּי֞וֹם

that the foundation

יֻסַּ֨ד

of the house

בֵּית

of the LORD

יְהוָ֧ה

of hosts

צְבָא֛וֹת

that the temple

הַהֵיכָ֖ל

might be built

לְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃

 

כִּ֗י

For before

לִפְנֵי֙

these days

הַיָּמִ֣ים

 

הָהֵ֔ם

no hire

וּשְׂכַ֥ר

all men

הָאָדָ֖ם

 

לֹ֣א

there was

נִֽהְיָ֔ה

no hire

וּשְׂכַ֥ר

for beast

הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה

 

אֵינֶ֑נָּה

to him that went out

וְלַיּוֹצֵ֨א

or came in

וְלַבָּ֤א

 

אֵין

neither was there any peace

שָׁלוֹם֙

 

מִן

because of the affliction

הַצָּ֔ר

for I set

וַאֲשַׁלַּ֥ח

 

אֶת

 

כָּל

all men

הָאָדָ֖ם

every one

אִ֥ישׁ

against his neighbour

בְּרֵעֵֽהוּ׃

 

וְעַתָּ֗ה

 

לֹ֣א

days

כַיָּמִ֤ים

as in the former

הָרִֽאשֹׁנִים֙

 

אֲנִ֔י

But now I will not be unto the residue

לִשְׁאֵרִ֖ית

of this people

הָעָ֣ם

 

הַזֶּ֑ה

saith

נְאֻ֖ם

the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

of hosts

צְבָאֽוֹת׃

 

כִּֽי

For the seed

זֶ֣רַע

shall be prosperous

הַשָּׁל֗וֹם

the vine

הַגֶּ֜פֶן

shall give

יִתְּנ֣וּ

her fruit

פִּרְיָהּ֙

and the ground

וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙

shall give

יִתְּנ֣וּ

 

אֶת

her increase

יְבוּלָ֔הּ

and the heavens

וְהַשָּׁמַ֖יִם

shall give

יִתְּנ֣וּ

their dew

טַלָּ֑ם

to possess

וְהִנְחַלְתִּ֗י

 

אֶת

and I will cause the remnant

שְׁאֵרִ֛ית

of this people

הָעָ֥ם

 

הַזֶּ֖ה

 

אֶת

 

כָּל

 

אֵֽלֶּה׃

 

וְהָיָ֡ה

 

כַּאֲשֶׁר֩

 

הֱיִיתֶ֨ם

And it shall come to pass that as ye were a curse

קְלָלָ֜ה

among the heathen

בַּגּוֹיִ֗ם

O house

וּבֵ֣ית

of Judah

יְהוּדָה֙

O house

וּבֵ֣ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

 

כֵּ֚ן

so will I save

אוֹשִׁ֣יעַ

 

אֶתְכֶ֔ם

 

וִהְיִיתֶ֖ם

you and ye shall be a blessing

בְּרָכָ֑ה

 

אַל

fear

תִּירָ֖אוּ

be strong

תֶּחֱזַ֥קְנָה

not but let your hands

יְדֵיכֶֽם׃

 

כִּ֣י

 

כֹ֣ה

For thus saith

אָמַ֖ר

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

of hosts

צְבָא֑וֹת

 

כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר

As I thought

זָמַמְ֜תִּי

to punish

לְהָרַ֣ע

 

לָכֶ֗ם

provoked me to wrath

בְּהַקְצִ֤יף

you when your fathers

אֲבֹֽתֵיכֶם֙

 

אֹתִ֔י

For thus saith

אָמַ֖ר

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

of hosts

צְבָא֑וֹת

 

וְלֹ֖א

and I repented

נִחָֽמְתִּי׃

 

כֵּ֣ן

So again

שַׁ֤בְתִּי

have I thought

זָמַ֙מְתִּי֙

in these days

בַּיָּמִ֣ים

 

הָאֵ֔לֶּה

to do well

לְהֵיטִ֥יב

 

אֶת

unto Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

 

וְאֶת

and to the house

בֵּ֣ית

of Judah

יְהוּדָ֑ה

 

אַל

fear

תִּירָֽאוּ׃

 

אֵ֥לֶּה

These are the things

הַדְּבָרִ֖ים

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that ye shall do

תַּֽעֲשׂ֑וּ

Speak

דַּבְּר֤וּ

of truth

אֱמֶת֙

ye every man

אִ֣ישׁ

 

אֶת

to his neighbour

רֵעֵ֔הוּ

of truth

אֱמֶת֙

the judgment

וּמִשְׁפַּ֣ט

and peace

שָׁל֔וֹם

execute

שִׁפְט֖וּ

in your gates

בְּשַׁעֲרֵיכֶֽם׃

And let none

וְאִ֣ישׁ׀

 

אֶת

evil

רָעַ֣ת

against his neighbour

רֵעֵ֗הוּ

 

אַֽל

of you imagine

תַּחְשְׁבוּ֙

in your hearts

בִּלְבַבְכֶ֔ם

oath

וּשְׁבֻ֥עַת

no false

שֶׁ֖קֶר

 

אַֽל

and love

תֶּאֱהָ֑בוּ

 

כִּ֧י

 

אֶת

 

כָּל

 

אֵ֛לֶּה

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

for all these are things that I hate

שָׂנֵ֖אתִי

saith

נְאֻם

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

וַיְהִ֛י

And the word

The fast

וְצ֣וֹם

הָעֲשִׂירִ֗י

 

יִהְיֶ֤ה

shall be to the house

לְבֵית

of Judah

יְהוּדָה֙

joy

לְשָׂשׂ֣וֹן

and gladness

וּלְשִׂמְחָ֔ה

feasts

וּֽלְמֹעֲדִ֖ים

and cheerful

טוֹבִ֑ים

the truth

וְהָאֱמֶ֥ת

and peace

וְהַשָּׁל֖וֹם

therefore love

אֱהָֽבוּ׃

 

כֹּ֥ה

Thus saith

אָמַ֖ר

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

of hosts

צְבָא֑וֹת

 

עֹ֚ד

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

It shall yet come to pass that there shall come

יָבֹ֣אוּ

people

עַמִּ֔ים

and the inhabitants

וְיֹשְׁבֵ֖י

cities

עָרִ֥ים

of many

רַבּֽוֹת׃

city shall go

אֵלְכָ֖ה

And the inhabitants

יֽוֹשְׁבֵי֩

of one

אַחַ֜ת

 

אֶל

of one

אַחַ֜ת

saying

לֵאמֹ֗ר

city shall go

אֵלְכָ֖ה

city shall go

אֵלְכָ֖ה

to pray

לְחַלּוֹת֙

לְבַקֵּ֛שׁ

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

of hosts

צְבָא֖וֹת

in Jerusalem

בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

and to pray

וּלְחַלּ֖וֹת

 

אֶת

before

פְּנֵ֥י

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

Thus saith

לֵאמֹ֗ר

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

of hosts

צְבָאוֹת֒

In those days

בַּיָּמִ֣ים

 

הָהֵ֔מָּה

 

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

even shall take hold

וְֽהֶחֱזִ֡יקוּ

it shall come to pass that ten

עֲשָׂרָ֣ה

of him that is a Jew

אִ֨ישׁ

 

מִכֹּ֖ל

out of all languages

לְשֹׁנ֣וֹת

of the nations

הַגּוֹיִ֑ם

even shall take hold

וְֽהֶחֱזִ֡יקוּ

of the skirt

בִּכְנַף֩

of him that is a Jew

אִ֨ישׁ

 

יְהוּדִ֜י

Thus saith

לֵאמֹ֗ר

 

נֵֽלְכָה֙

 

עִמָּכֶ֔ם

 

כִּ֥י

with you for we have heard

שָׁמַ֖עְנוּ

that God

אֱלֹהִ֥ים

 

עִמָּכֶֽם׃
