Ashdod

אַשְׁדּ֗וֹד

בַּֽצָּהֳרַ֙יִם֙

they shall drive out

יְגָ֣רְשׁ֔וּהָ

and Ekron

וְעֶקְר֖וֹן

shall be rooted up

תֵּעָקֵֽר׃

Woe

ה֗וֹי

thee that there shall be no inhabitant

בְּבָתֵּ֣י

of Judah

עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם

they shall feed

יִרְע֑וּן

בְּבָתֵּ֣י

of Ashkelon

אַשְׁקְל֗וֹן

in the evening

בָּעֶ֙רֶב֙

shall they lie down

יִרְבָּצ֔וּן

 

כִּ֧י

my people

themselves against their border

Therefore as I live

Surely Moab

מוֹאָ֞ב

shall be as Sodom

כִּסְדֹ֤ם

 

תִּֽהְיֶה֙

and the children

וּבְנֵ֤י

of Ammon

עַמּוֹן֙

as Gomorrah

כַּֽעֲמֹרָ֔ה

even the breeding

מִמְשַׁ֥ק

of nettles

חָר֛וּל

 

וּמִכְרֵה

 

מֶ֥לַח

desolation

וּשְׁמָמָ֖ה

and a perpetual

עַד

 

עוֹלָ֑ם

the residue

שְׁאֵרִ֤ית

of my people

עַמִּי֙

shall spoil

יְבָזּ֔וּם

them and the remnant

וְיֶ֥תֶר

of my people

גּוֹיִ֖

shall possess

יִנְחָלֽוּם׃

 

זֹ֥את

 

לָהֶ֖ם

 

תַּ֣חַת

This shall they have for their pride

גְּאוֹנָ֑ם

 

כִּ֤י

because they have reproached

חֵֽרְפוּ֙

and magnified

וַיַּגְדִּ֔לוּ

 

עַל

themselves against the people

צְבָאֽוֹת׃

will be terrible

נוֹרָ֤א

The LORD

עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם

 

כִּ֣י

unto them for he will famish

רָזָ֔ה

כָּל

all the gods

אֱלֹהֵ֣י

of the earth

הָאָ֑רֶץ

and men shall worship

וְיִשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ

 

לוֹ֙

him every one

אִ֣ישׁ

from his place

מִמְּקוֹמ֔וֹ

 

כֹּ֖ל

even all the isles

אִיֵּ֥י

of the heathen

הַגּוֹיִֽם׃

Ye Ethiopians

כּוּשִׁ֔ים

shall be slain

חַֽלְלֵ֥י

by my sword

חַרְבִּ֖י
