her are roaring

שֹׁפְטֶ֙יהָ֙

wolves

זְאֵ֣בֵי

are evening

עֶ֔רֶב

 

לֹ֥א

they gnaw not the bones

גָרְמ֖וּ

till the morrow

לַבֹּֽקֶר׃

Her prophets

נְבִיאֶ֙יהָ֙

are light

פֹּֽחֲזִ֔ים

persons

אַנְשֵׁ֖י

and treacherous

בֹּֽגְד֑וֹת

her priests

כֹּהֲנֶ֙יהָ֙

have polluted

חִלְּלוּ

the sanctuary

קֹ֔דֶשׁ

they have done violence

חָמְס֖וּ

to the law

תּוֹרָֽה׃

LORD

יְהוָ֤ה

The just

צַדִּיק֙

is in the midst

בְּקִרְבָּ֔הּ

 

לֹ֥א

thereof he will not do

יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה

iniquity

עַוְלָ֑ה

every morning

בַּבֹּ֜קֶר

every morning

בַּבֹּ֜קֶר

his judgment

מִשְׁפָּט֨וֹ

doth he bring

יִתֵּ֤ן

to light

לָאוֹר֙

 

לֹ֣א

he faileth

נֶעְדָּ֔ר

 

וְלֹֽא

knoweth

יוֹדֵ֥עַ

not but the unjust

עַוָּ֖ל

no shame

בֹּֽשֶׁת׃

I have cut off

הִכְרַ֣תִּי

the nations

גוֹיִ֗ם

are desolate

נָשַׁ֙מּוּ֙

their towers

פִּנּוֹתָ֔ם

waste

הֶחֱרַ֥בְתִּי

I made their streets

חֽוּצוֹתָ֖ם

 

מִבְּלִ֣י

that none passeth by

עוֹבֵ֑ר

are destroyed

נִצְדּ֧וּ

their cities

עָרֵיהֶ֛ם

 

מִבְּלִי

so that there is no man

אִ֖ישׁ

 

מֵאֵ֥ין

that there is none inhabitant

יוֹשֵֽׁב׃

I said

אָמַ֜רְתִּי

 

אַךְ

Surely thou wilt fear

תִּירְאִ֤י

 

אוֹתִי֙

me thou wilt receive

תִּקְחִ֣י

instruction

מוּסָ֔ר

 

וְלֹֽא

should not be cut off

יִכָּרֵ֣ת

so their dwelling

מְעוֹנָ֔הּ

 

כֹּ֥ל

howsoever

אֲשֶׁר

I punished

פָּקַ֖דְתִּי

 

עָלֶ֑יהָ

them but

אָכֵן֙

they rose early

הִשְׁכִּ֣ימוּ

and corrupted

הִשְׁחִ֔יתוּ

 

כֹּ֖ל

all their doings

עֲלִילוֹתָֽם׃

 

לָכֵ֤ן

Therefore wait

חַכּוּ

 

לִי֙

ye upon me saith

נְאֻם

the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

until the day

לְי֖וֹם

that I rise up

קוּמִ֣י

to the prey

לְעַ֑ד

 

כִּ֣י

for my determination

מִשְׁפָּטִי֩

is to gather

לֶאֱסֹ֨ף

the nations

גּוֹיִ֜ם

that I may assemble

לְקָבְצִ֣י

the kingdoms

מַמְלָכ֗וֹת

to pour

לִשְׁפֹּ֨ךְ

 

עֲלֵיהֶ֤ם

upon them mine indignation

זַעְמִי֙

 

כֹּ֚ל

even all my fierce

חֲר֣וֹן

anger

אַפִּ֔י

 

כִּ֚י

with the fire

בְּאֵ֣שׁ

of my jealousy

קִנְאָתִ֔י

shall be devoured

תֵּאָכֵ֖ל

 

כָּל

for all the earth

הָאָֽרֶץ׃

 

כִּֽי

 

אָ֛ז

For then will I turn

אֶהְפֹּ֥ךְ

 

אֶל

to the people

עַמִּ֖ים

language

שָׂפָ֣ה

a pure

בְרוּרָ֑ה

that they may all call

לִקְרֹ֤א

 

כֻלָּם֙

upon the name

בְּשֵׁ֣ם

of the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

to serve

לְעָבְד֖וֹ

consent

שְׁכֶ֥ם

him with one

אֶחָֽד׃

From beyond

מֵעֵ֖בֶר

the rivers

לְנַֽהֲרֵי

of Ethiopia

כ֑וּשׁ

my suppliants

עֲתָרַי֙

even the daughter

בַּת

of my dispersed

פּוּצַ֔י

shall bring

יוֹבִל֖וּן

mine offering

מִנְחָתִֽי׃

In that day

בַּיּ֣וֹם

 

הַה֗וּא

 

לֹ֤א

shalt thou not be ashamed

תֵב֙וֹשִׁי֙

 

מִכֹּ֣ל

for all thy doings

עֲלִילֹתַ֔יִךְ

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

wherein thou hast transgressed

פָּשַׁ֖עַתְּ

 

בִּ֑י

 

כִּי

 

אָ֣ז׀

against me for then I will take away

אָסִ֣יר

out of the midst

מִקִּרְבֵּ֗ךְ

of thee them that rejoice

עַלִּיזֵי֙

in thy pride

גַּאֲוָתֵ֔ךְ

 

וְלֹֽא

and thou shalt no more

תוֹסִ֧פִי

be haughty

לְגָבְהָ֛ה

 

ע֖וֹד

mountain

בְּהַ֥ר

because of my holy

קָדְשִֽׁי׃

I will also leave

וְהִשְׁאַרְתִּ֣י

in the midst

בְקִרְבֵּ֔ךְ

people

עַ֥ם

of thee an afflicted

עָנִ֖י

and poor

וָדָ֑ל

and they shall trust

וְחָס֖וּ

in the name

בְּשֵׁ֥ם

of the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

The remnant

שְׁאֵרִ֨ית

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל

 

לֹֽא

shall not do

יַעֲשׂ֤וּ

iniquity

עַוְלָה֙

 

וְלֹא

nor speak

יְדַבְּר֣וּ

lies

כָזָ֔ב

 

וְלֹֽא

be found

יִמָּצֵ֥א

in their mouth

בְּפִיהֶ֖ם

tongue

לְשׁ֣וֹן

neither shall a deceitful

תַּרְמִ֑ית

 

כִּֽי

 

הֵ֛מָּה

for they shall feed

יִרְע֥וּ

and lie down

וְרָבְצ֖וּ

 

וְאֵ֥ין

and none shall make them afraid

מַחֲרִֽיד׃

Sing

רָנִּי֙

O daughter

בַּ֖ת

of Zion

צִיּ֔וֹן

shout

הָרִ֖יעוּ

O Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

be glad

שִׂמְחִ֤י

and rejoice

וְעָלְזִי֙

 

בְּכָל

with all the heart

לֵ֔ב

O daughter

בַּ֖ת

of Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

hath taken away

הֵסִ֤יר

The LORD

יְהוָה֙

thy judgments

מִשְׁפָּטַ֔יִךְ

he hath cast out

פִּנָּ֖ה

thine enemy

אֹֽיְבֵ֑ךְ

the king

מֶ֣לֶךְ

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל׀

The LORD

יְהוָה֙

is in the midst

בְּקִרְבֵּ֔ךְ

 

לֹא

of thee thou shalt not see

תִֽירְאִ֥י

evil

רָ֖ע

 

עֽוֹד׃

In that day

בַּיּ֣וֹם

 

הַה֔וּא

it shall be said

יֵאָמֵ֥ר

to Jerusalem

לִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

 

אַל

Fear

תִּירָ֑אִי

thou not and to Zion

צִיּ֖וֹן

 

אַל

be slack

יִרְפּ֥וּ

Let not thine hands

יָדָֽיִךְ׃

The LORD

יְהוָ֧ה

thy God

אֱלֹהַ֛יִךְ

in the midst

בְּקִרְבֵּ֖ך

of thee is mighty

גִּבּ֣וֹר

he will save

יוֹשִׁ֑יעַ

he will rejoice

יָשִׂ֨ישׂ

 

עָלַ֜יִךְ

over thee with joy

בְּשִׂמְחָ֗ה

he will rest

יַחֲרִישׁ֙

in his love

בְּאַ֣הֲבָת֔וֹ

he will joy

יָגִ֥יל

 

עָלַ֖יִךְ

over thee with singing

בְּרִנָּֽה׃

them that are sorrowful

נוּגֵ֧י

for the solemn assembly

מִמּוֹעֵ֛ד

I will gather

אָסַ֖פְתִּי

 

מִמֵּ֣ךְ

 

הָי֑וּ

of it was a burden

מַשְׂאֵ֥ת

 

עָלֶ֖יהָ

who are of thee to whom the reproach

חֶרְפָּֽה׃

 

הִנְנִ֥י

I will undo

עֹשֶׂ֛ה

 

אֶת

 

כָּל

all that afflict

מְעַנַּ֖יִךְ

Behold at that time

בָּעֵ֣ת

 

הַהִ֑יא

thee and I will save

וְהוֹשַׁעְתִּ֣י

 

אֶת

her that halteth

הַצֹּלֵעָ֗ה

her that was driven out

וְהַנִּדָּחָה֙

and gather

אֲקַבֵּ֔ץ

and I will get

וְשַׂמְתִּים֙

them praise

לִתְהִלָּ֣ה

and fame

וּלְשֵׁ֔ם

 

בְּכָל

in every land

הָאָ֖רֶץ

where they have been put to shame

בָּשְׁתָּֽם׃

At that time

וּבָעֵ֖ת

 

הַהִיא֙

will I bring

אָבִ֣יא

 

אֶתְכֶ֔ם

At that time

וּבָעֵ֖ת

that I gather

קַבְּצִ֣י

 

אֶתְכֶ֑ם

 

כִּֽי

you for I will make

אֶתֵּ֨ן

 

אֶתְכֶ֜ם

you a name

לְשֵׁ֣ם

and a praise

וְלִתְהִלָּ֗ה

 

בְּכֹל֙

among all people

עַמֵּ֣י

of the earth

הָאָ֔רֶץ

when I turn back

בְּשׁוּבִ֧י

 

אֶת

your captivity

שְׁבוּתֵיכֶ֛ם

before your eyes

לְעֵינֵיכֶ֖ם

saith

אָמַ֥ר

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

At that time

וּבָעֵ֖ת

 

הַהִיא֙

will I bring

אָבִ֣יא

 

אֶתְכֶ֔ם

At that time

וּבָעֵ֖ת

that I gather

קַבְּצִ֣י

 

אֶתְכֶ֑ם

 

כִּֽי

you for I will make

אֶתֵּ֨ן

you a name

לְשֵׁ֣ם

and a praise

וְלִתְהִלָּ֗ה

 

בְּכֹל֙

among all people

עַמֵּ֣י

of the earth

הָאָ֔רֶץ

when I turn back

בְּשׁוּבִ֧י

 

אֶת

your captivity

שְׁבוּתֵיכֶ֛ם

before your eyes

לְעֵינֵיכֶ֖ם

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃
