Thou meetest

פָּגַ֤עְתָּ

 

אֶת

him that rejoiceth

שָׂשׂ֙

and worketh

וְעֹ֣שֵׂה

righteousness

צֶ֔דֶק

thee in thy ways

בִּדְרָכֶ֖יךָ

those that remember

יִזְכְּר֑וּךָ

 

הֵן

 

אַתָּ֤ה

behold thou art wroth

קָצַ֙פְתָּ֙

for we have sinned

וַֽנֶּחֱטָ֔א

 

בָּהֶ֥ם

in those is continuance

עוֹלָ֖ם

and we shall be saved

וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעַ׃

 

וַנְּהִ֤י

But we are all as an unclean

כַטָּמֵא֙

 

כֻּלָּ֔נוּ

rags

וּכְבֶ֥גֶד

are as filthy

עִדִּ֖ים

 

כָּל

thing and all our righteousnesses

צִדְקֹתֵ֑ינוּ

and we all do fade

וַנָּ֤בֶל

as a leaf

כֶּֽעָלֶה֙

 

כֻּלָּ֔נוּ

and our iniquities

וַעֲוֺנֵ֖נוּ

like the wind

כָּר֥וּחַ

have taken us away

יִשָּׂאֻֽנוּ׃

 

וְאֵין

And there is none that calleth

קוֹרֵ֣א

upon thy name

בְשִׁמְךָ֔

that stirreth up

מִתְעוֹרֵ֖ר

himself to take hold

לְהַחֲזִ֣יק

 

בָּ֑ךְ

 

כִּֽי

of thee for thou hast hid

הִסְתַּ֤רְתָּ

thy face

פָנֶ֙יךָ֙

 

מִמֶּ֔נּוּ

from us and hast consumed

וַתְּמוּגֵ֖נוּ

us because

בְּיַד

of our iniquities

עֲוֹנֵֽנוּ׃

 

וְעַתָּ֥ה

But now O LORD

יְהוָ֖ה

thou art our father

אָבִ֣ינוּ

 

אָ֑תָּה

 

אֲנַ֤חְנוּ

we are the clay

הַחֹ֙מֶר֙

 

וְאַתָּ֣ה

and thou our potter

יֹצְרֵ֔נוּ

and we all are the work

וּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה

of thy hand

יָדְךָ֖

 

כֻּלָּֽנוּ׃

Be not wroth

thee is burned up

and all our pleasant things

Wilt thou refrain

thyself for these things O LORD

and afflict

us very sore

מְאֹֽד׃
