וַעֲבָדַ֖י

But ye are they that forsake

הַֽעֹרְכִ֤ים

for that troop

Therefore will I number

וּמָנִ֨יתִי

וְאַתֶּ֣ם

but ye shall be hungry

shall drink

יִשְׁתּ֖וּ

but ye shall be thirsty

תִּצְמָ֑אוּ

וָאָ֣רֶץ

shall not be remembered

תִזָּכַ֙רְנָה֙

and the former

הָרִ֣אשֹׁנ֔וֹת

 

וְלֹ֥א

nor come

תַעֲלֶ֖ינָה

 

עַל

into mind

לֵֽב׃

 

כִּֽי

 

אִם

But be ye glad

שִׂ֤ישׂוּ

and rejoice

וְגִ֙ילוּ֙

for ever

עֲדֵי

in vain
