at my word

דְּבָרִֽי׃

He that killeth

שׁוֹחֵ֨ט

an ox

הַשּׁ֜וֹר

is as if he slew

מַכֵּה

a man

אִ֗ישׁ

he that sacrificeth

זוֹבֵ֤חַ

a lamb

הַשֶּׂה֙

as if he cut off

עֹ֣רֵֽף

a dog's

כֶּ֔לֶב

he that offereth

מַעֲלֵ֤ה

an oblation

מִנְחָה֙

blood

דַּם

as if he offered swine's

חֲזִ֔יר

he that burneth

מַזְכִּ֥יר

incense

לְבֹנָ֖ה

as if he blessed

מְבָ֣רֵֽךְ

an idol

אָ֑וֶן

 

גַּם

 

הֵ֗מָּה

Yea they have chosen

בָּֽחֲרוּ֙

their own ways

בְּדַרְכֵיהֶ֔ם

in their abominations

וּבְשִׁקּוּצֵיהֶ֖ם

and their soul

נַפְשָׁ֥ם

delighteth

חָפֵֽצָה׃

 

גַּם

 

אֲנִ֞י

I also will choose

בָּחָֽרוּ׃

their delusions

בְּתַעֲלֻלֵיהֶ֗ם

their fears

וּמְגֽוּרֹתָם֙

and will bring

אָבִ֣יא

 

לָהֶ֔ם

 

יַ֤עַן

upon them because when I called

קָרָ֙אתִי֙

 

וְאֵ֣ין

none did answer

עוֹנֶ֔ה

when I spake

דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי

 

וְלֹ֣א

they did not hear

שָׁמֵ֑עוּ

but they did

וַיַּעֲשׂ֤וּ

evil

הָרַע֙

before mine eyes

בְּעֵינַ֔י

 

וּבַאֲשֶׁ֥ר

 

לֹֽא

that in which I delighted

חָפַ֖צְתִּי

I also will choose

בָּחָֽרוּ׃

Hear

שִׁמְעוּ֙

at his word

דְּבָר֑וֹ

Let the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

ye that tremble

הַחֲרֵדִ֖ים

 

אֶל

at his word

דְּבָר֑וֹ

sake said

אָמְרוּ֩

Your brethren

אֲחֵיכֶ֨ם

that hated

שֹׂנְאֵיכֶ֜ם

you that cast you out

מְנַדֵּיכֶ֗ם

 

לְמַ֤עַן

for my name's

שְׁמִי֙

be glorified

יִכְבַּ֣ד

Let the LORD

יְהוָ֔ה

but he shall appear

וְנִרְאֶ֥ה

to your joy

בְשִׂמְחַתְכֶ֖ם

 

וְהֵ֥ם

and they shall be ashamed

יֵבֹֽשׁוּ׃

A voice

ק֣וֹל

of noise

שָׁאוֹן֙

from the city

מֵעִ֔יר

from the temple

for joy

and be satisfied

of her consolations

תַּנְחֻמֶ֑יהָ

that ye may milk out

תָּמֹ֛צּוּ

and be delighted

וְהִתְעַנַּגְתֶּ֖ם

with the abundance

מִזִּ֥יז

of her glory

כְּבוֹדָֽהּ׃

For thus saith

אָמַ֣ר

the LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

 

הִנְנִ֣י

Behold I will extend

נֹטֶֽה

 

אֵ֠לֶיהָ

to her like a river

כְּנָהָ֨ר

peace

שָׁל֜וֹם

stream

וּכְנַ֧חַל

like a flowing

שׁוֹטֵ֛ף

and the glory

כְּב֥וֹד

of the Gentiles

גּוֹיִ֖ם

then shall ye suck

וִֽינַקְתֶּ֑ם

 

עַל

upon her sides

צַד֙

ye shall be borne

תִּנָּשֵׂ֔אוּ

 

וְעַל

upon her knees

בִּרְכַּ֖יִם

and be dandled

תְּשָׁעֳשָֽׁעוּ׃

As one

כְּאִ֕ישׁ

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

whom his mother

אִמּ֖וֹ

comforteth

תְּנֻחָֽמוּ׃

 

כֵּ֤ן

 

אָֽנֹכִי֙

comforteth

תְּנֻחָֽמוּ׃

in Jerusalem

וּבִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

comforteth

תְּנֻחָֽמוּ׃

And when ye see

וּרְאִיתֶם֙

shall rejoice

וְשָׂ֣שׂ

this your heart

לִבְּכֶ֔ם

and your bones

וְעַצְמוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם

like an herb

כַּדֶּ֣שֶׁא

shall flourish

תִפְרַ֑חְנָה

shall be known

וְנוֹדְעָ֤ה

and the hand

יַד

of the LORD

יְהוָה֙

 

אֶת

toward his servants

עֲבָדָ֔יו

and his indignation

וְזָעַ֖ם

 

אֶת

toward his enemies

אֹיְבָֽיו׃

 

כִּֽי

 

הִנֵּ֤ה

For behold the LORD

יְהוָה֙

of fire

אֵֽשׁ׃

will come

יָב֔וֹא

like a whirlwind

וְכַסּוּפָ֖ה

and with his chariots

מַרְכְּבֹתָ֑יו

to render

לְהָשִׁ֤יב

with fury

בְּחֵמָה֙

his anger

אַפּ֔וֹ

and his rebuke

וְגַעֲרָת֖וֹ

with flames

בְּלַהֲבֵי

of fire

אֵֽשׁ׃

 

כִּ֤י

For by fire

בָאֵשׁ֙

of the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

plead

נִשְׁפָּ֔ט

and by his sword

וּבְחַרְבּ֖וֹ

 

אֶת

 

כָּל

with all flesh

בָּשָׂ֑ר

shall be many

וְרַבּ֖וּ

and the slain

חַֽלְלֵ֥י

of the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

They that sanctify

הַמִּתְקַדְּשִׁ֨ים

themselves and purify

וְהַמִּֽטַּהֲרִ֜ים

 

אֶל

themselves in the gardens

הַגַּנּ֗וֹת

behind

אַחַ֤ר

one

אַחַד֙

tree in the midst

בַּתָּ֔וֶךְ

eating

אֹֽכְלֵי֙

flesh

בְּשַׂ֣ר

swine's

הַחֲזִ֔יר

and the abomination

וְהַשֶּׁ֖קֶץ

and the mouse

וְהָעַכְבָּ֑ר

together

יַחְדָּ֥ו

shall be consumed

יָסֻ֖פוּ

saith

נְאֻם

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

וְאָנֹכִ֗י

For I know their works

מַעֲשֵׂיהֶם֙

and their thoughts

וּמַחְשְׁבֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם

and they shall come

וּבָ֖אוּ

that I will gather

לְקַבֵּ֥ץ

 

אֶת

 

כָּל

all nations

הַגּוֹיִ֖ם

and tongues

וְהַלְּשֹׁנ֑וֹת

and they shall come

וּבָ֖אוּ

and see

וְרָא֥וּ

 

אֶת

my glory

כְּבוֹדִֽי׃

And I will set

וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י

 

בָהֶ֜ם

a sign

א֗וֹת

among them and I will send

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֣י

 

מֵהֶ֣ם׀

those that escape

פְּ֠לֵיטִים

 

אֶֽל

among the Gentiles

בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃

to Tarshish

תַּרְשִׁ֨ישׁ

Pul

פּ֥וּל

and Lud

וְל֛וּד

that draw

מֹ֥שְׁכֵי

the bow

קֶ֖שֶׁת

to Tubal

תֻּבַ֣ל

and Javan

וְיָוָ֑ן

הָרְחֹקִ֗ים

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

 

לֹא

that have not heard

שָׁמְע֤וּ

 

אֶת

my fame

שִׁמְעִי֙

 

וְלֹא

neither have seen

רָא֣וּ

my glory

כְּבוֹדִ֖י

and they shall declare

וְהִגִּ֥ידוּ

 

אֶת

my glory

among the Gentiles

בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃

And they shall bring

יָבִיאוּ֩

כָּל

all your brethren

אֲחֵיכֶ֣ם

out of all nations

הַמִּנְחָ֛ה

of the LORD

upon horses

בַּסּוּסִ֡ים

and in chariots

וּ֠בָרֶכֶב

and upon mules

וּבַפְּרָדִ֜ים

and upon swift beasts

וּבַכִּרְכָּר֗וֹת

 

עַ֣ל

mountain

הַ֥ר

to my holy

קָדְשִׁ֛י

Jerusalem

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

saith

אָמַ֣ר

of the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר

And they shall bring

יָבִיאוּ֩

as the children

בְנֵ֨י

of Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל

 

אֶת

an offering

הַמִּנְחָ֛ה

vessel

בִּכְלִ֥י

in a clean

טָה֖וֹר

into the house

בֵּ֥ית

of the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

וְגַם

 

מֵהֶ֥ם

And I will also take

אֶקַּ֛ח

of them for priests

לַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים

and for Levites

לַלְוִיִּ֖ם

saith

אָמַ֥ר

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

 

כִּ֣י

 

כַאֲשֶׁ֣ר

heavens

הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם

For as the new

הַחֲדָשָׁ֜ה

earth

וְהָאָ֨רֶץ

For as the new

הַחֲדָשָׁ֜ה

 

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

 

אֲנִ֥י

which I will make

עֹשֶׂ֛ה

remain

יַעֲמֹ֥ד

before

לְפָנַ֖י

the LORD

so shall your seed

זַרְעֲכֶ֖ם

and your name

וְשִׁמְכֶֽם׃

And it shall come to pass that from

one new moon

בְּחָדְשׁ֔וֹ
