nor standeth

עָמָ֑ד

in the seat

וּבְמוֹשַׁ֥ב

of the scornful

לֵ֝צִ֗ים

 

לֹ֣א

nor sitteth

יָשָֽׁב׃

and in his law

וּֽבְתוֹרָת֥וֹ

of the LORD

יְהוָ֗ה

But his delight

חֶ֫פְצ֥וֹ

and in his law

וּֽבְתוֹרָת֥וֹ

doth he meditate

יֶהְגֶּ֗ה

day

יוֹמָ֥ם

and night

וָלָֽיְלָה׃

 

וְֽהָיָ֗ה

And he shall be like a tree

כְּעֵץ֮

planted

שָׁת֪וּל

 

עַֽל

by the rivers

פַּלְגֵ֫י

of water

מָ֥יִם

 

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

his fruit

פִּרְי֨וֹ׀

that bringeth forth

יִתֵּ֬ן

in his season

בְּעִתּ֗וֹ

his leaf

וְעָלֵ֥הוּ

 

לֹֽא

also shall not wither

יִבּ֑וֹל

 

וְכֹ֖ל

 

אֲשֶׁר

and whatsoever he doeth

יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה

shall prosper

יַצְלִֽיחַ׃

 

לֹא

 

כֵ֥ן

The ungodly

הָרְשָׁעִ֑ים

 

כִּ֥י

 

אִם

are not so but are like the chaff

כַּ֝מֹּ֗ץ

 

אֲֽשֶׁר

driveth away

תִּדְּפֶ֥נּוּ

which the wind

רֽוּחַ׃

 

עַל

 

כֵּ֤ן׀

 

לֹא

shall not stand

יָקֻ֣מוּ

Therefore the ungodly

רְ֭שָׁעִים

in the judgment

בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט

nor sinners

וְ֝חַטָּאִ֗ים

in the congregation

בַּעֲדַ֥ת

of the righteous

צַדִּיקִֽים׃

 

כִּֽי

knoweth

יוֹדֵ֣עַ

For the LORD

יְ֭הוָה

but the way

וְדֶ֖רֶךְ

of the righteous

צַדִּיקִ֑ים

but the way

וְדֶ֖רֶךְ

of the ungodly

רְשָׁעִ֣ים

shall perish

תֹּאבֵֽד׃
