Let us break

וְנַשְׁלִ֖יכָה

 

מִמֶּ֣נּוּ

their cords

עֲבֹתֵֽימוֹ׃

He that sitteth

יוֹשֵׁ֣ב

in the heavens

בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם

shall laugh

יִשְׂחָ֑ק

the Lord

אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י

shall have them in derision

יִלְעַג

 

לָֽמוֹ׃

 

אָ֤ז

Then shall he speak

יְדַבֵּ֣ר

 

אֵלֵ֣ימוֹ

unto them in his wrath

בְאַפּ֑וֹ

them in his sore displeasure

וּֽבַחֲרוֹנ֥וֹ

and vex

יְבַהֲלֵֽמוֹ׃

 

וַ֭אֲנִי

Yet have I set

נָסַ֣כְתִּי

my king

מַלְכִּ֑י

 

עַל

of Zion

צִ֝יּ֗וֹן

hill

הַר

upon my holy

קָדְשִֽׁי׃

I will declare

אֲסַפְּרָ֗ה

 

אֶֽ֫ל

the decree

חֹ֥ק

the LORD

יְֽהוָ֗ה

hath said

אָמַ֘ר

 

אֵלַ֥י

unto me Thou art my Son

בְּנִ֥י

 

אַ֑תָּה

 

אֲ֝נִ֗י

this day

הַיּ֥וֹם

have I begotten

יְלִדְתִּֽיךָ׃

Ask

שְׁאַ֤ל

 

מִמֶּ֗נִּי

of me and I shall give

וְאֶתְּנָ֣ה

thee the heathen

ג֭וֹיִם

for thine inheritance

נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ

for thy possession

וַ֝אֲחֻזָּתְךָ֗

and the uttermost parts

אַפְסֵי

of the earth

אָֽרֶץ׃

Thou shalt break

תְּ֭רֹעֵם

them with a rod

בְּשֵׁ֣בֶט

of iron

בַּרְזֶ֑ל

vessel

כִּכְלִ֖י

like a potter's

יוֹצֵ֣ר

thou shalt dash them in pieces

תְּנַפְּצֵֽם׃

 

וְ֭עַתָּה

now therefore O ye kings

מְלָכִ֣ים

Be wise

הַשְׂכִּ֑ילוּ

be instructed

הִ֝וָּסְר֗וּ

ye judges

שֹׁ֣פְטֵי

of the earth

אָֽרֶץ׃

Serve

עִבְד֣וּ

 

אֶת

the LORD

יְהוָ֣ה

with fear

בְּיִרְאָ֑ה

and rejoice

וְ֝גִ֗ילוּ

with trembling

בִּרְעָדָֽה׃

Kiss

נַשְּׁקוּ

the Son

בַ֡ר

 

פֶּן

lest he be angry

יֶאֱנַ֤ף׀

and ye perish

וְתֹ֬אבְדוּ

from the way

דֶ֗רֶךְ

 

כִּֽי

is kindled

יִבְעַ֣ר

but a little

כִּמְעַ֣ט

when his wrath

אַפּ֑וֹ

Blessed

אַ֝שְׁרֵ֗י

 

כָּל

are all they that put their trust
