the LORD

יְהוָ֥ה

our maker

עֹשֵֽׂנוּ׃

For he is our God

אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ

 

וַאֲנַ֤חְנוּ

and we are the people

of his pasture

מַ֭רְעִיתוֹ

and the sheep

וְצֹ֣אן

of his hand

יָד֑וֹ

בְּקֹל֥וֹ

Harden

תַּקְשׁ֣וּ

not your heart

לְ֭בַבְכֶם

as in the provocation

כִּמְרִיבָ֑ה

and as in the day

כְּי֥וֹם

of temptation

מַ֝סָּ֗ה

in the wilderness

בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃

When your fathers

אֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם

me proved

בְּ֝חָנ֗וּנִי

רָא֥וּ

my work

פָעֳלִֽי׃

אַרְבָּ֘עִ֤ים

years

שָׁנָ֨ה׀

long was I grieved

אָ֘ק֤וּט

with this generation

בְּד֗וֹר

and said

וָאֹמַ֗ר

It is a people

עַ֤ם

that do err

in their heart

and they have not known

my ways

Unto whom I sware

נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתִּי

in my wrath

בְאַפִּ֑י

 

אִם

that they should not enter

יְ֝בֹא֗וּן

 

אֶל

into my rest

מְנוּחָתִֽי׃
