shall be delivered

יִמָּלֵ֣ט

of thy people

עַמְּךָ֔

every one that shall be found

הַנִּמְצָ֖א

written

כָּת֥וּב

in the book

בַּסֵּֽפֶר׃

And many

וְרַבִּ֕ים

of them that sleep

מִיְּשֵׁנֵ֥י

of the earth

אַדְמַת

in the dust

עָפָ֖ר

shall awake

יָקִ֑יצוּ

 

אֵ֚לֶּה

life

לְחַיֵּ֣י

and everlasting

עוֹלָֽם׃

 

וְאֵ֥לֶּה

and some to shame

לַחֲרָפ֖וֹת

contempt

לְדִרְא֥וֹן

and everlasting

עוֹלָֽם׃

And they that be wise

וְהַ֨מַּשְׂכִּלִ֔ים

shall shine

יַזְהִ֖רוּ

as the brightness

כְּזֹ֣הַר

of the firmament

הָרָקִ֑יעַ

to righteousness

וּמַצְדִּיקֵי֙

and they that turn many

הָֽרַבִּ֔ים

as the stars

כַּכּוֹכָבִ֖ים

for ever

לְעוֹלָ֥ם

and ever

וָעֶֽד׃

 

וְאַתָּ֣ה

But thou O Daniel

דָֽנִיֵּ֗אל

shut up

סְתֹ֧ם

the words

הַדְּבָרִ֛ים

and seal

וַחֲתֹ֥ם

the book

הַסֵּ֖פֶר

 

עַד

even to the time

עֵ֣ת

of the end

קֵ֑ץ

shall run to and fro

יְשֹׁטְט֥וּ

many

רַבִּ֖ים

shall be increased

וְתִרְבֶּ֥ה

and knowledge

הַדָּֽעַת׃

looked

וְרָאִ֙יתִי֙

 

אֲנִ֣י

Then I Daniel

דָנִיֵּ֔אל

 

וְהִנֵּ֛ה

two

שְׁנַ֥יִם

other

אֲחֵרִ֖ים

and behold there stood

עֹמְדִ֑ים

and the other

וְאֶחָ֥ד

on this side

הֵ֖נָּה

of the bank

לִשְׂפַ֥ת

of the river

הַיְאֹֽר׃

and the other

וְאֶחָ֥ד

on this side

הֵ֖נָּה

of the bank

לִשְׂפַ֥ת

of the river

הַיְאֹֽר׃

And one said

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר

to the man

לָאִישׁ֙

clothed

לְב֣וּשׁ

in linen

הַבַּדִּ֔ים

 

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

which was upon

מִמַּ֖עַל

the waters

לְמֵימֵ֣י

of the river

הַיְאֹ֑ר

 

עַד

 

מָתַ֖י

How long shall it be to the end

קֵ֥ץ

of these wonders

הַפְּלָאֽוֹת׃

And I heard

וָאֶשְׁמַ֞ע

 

אֶת

the man

הָאִ֣ישׁ׀

clothed

לְב֣וּשׁ

in linen

הַבַּדִּ֗ים

 

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

which was upon

מִמַּעַל֮

the waters

לְמֵימֵ֣י

of the river

הַיְאֹר֒

when he held up

וַיָּ֨רֶם

his right hand

יְמִינ֤וֹ

and his left hand

וּשְׂמֹאלוֹ֙

 

אֶל

unto heaven

הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם

and sware

וַיִּשָּׁבַ֖ע

by him that liveth

בְּחֵ֣י

for ever

הָעוֹלָ֑ם

 

כִּי֩

that it shall be for a time

מֽוֹעֲדִ֜ים

that it shall be for a time

מֽוֹעֲדִ֜ים

and an half

וָחֵ֗צִי

all these things shall be finished

תִּכְלֶ֥ינָה

to scatter

נַפֵּ֥ץ

the power

יַד

people

עַם

of the holy

קֹ֖דֶשׁ

all these things shall be finished

תִּכְלֶ֥ינָה

וַאֲנִ֥י

And I heard

שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי

 

וְלֹ֣א

but I understood

אָבִ֑ין

not then said

וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה

I O my Lord

אֲדֹנִ֕י

 

מָ֥ה

what shall be the end

אַחֲרִ֖ית

 

אֵֽלֶּה׃

And he said

וַיֹּ֖אמֶר

 

לֵ֣ךְ

Daniel

דָּנִיֵּ֑אל

 

כִּֽי

are closed up

סְתֻמִ֧ים

and sealed

וַחֲתֻמִ֛ים

for the words

הַדְּבָרִ֖ים

 

עַד

till the time

עֵ֥ת

of the end

קֵֽץ׃

shall be purified

יִ֠תְבָּֽרֲרוּ

and made white

וְיִֽתְלַבְּנ֤וּ

and tried

וְיִצָּֽרְפוּ֙

Many

רַבִּ֔ים

shall do wickedly

וְהִרְשִׁ֣יעוּ

and none of the wicked

רְשָׁעִ֑ים

 

וְלֹ֥א

shall understand

יָבִֽינוּ׃

 

כָּל

and none of the wicked

רְשָׁעִ֑ים

but the wise

וְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִ֖ים

shall understand

יָבִֽינוּ׃

And from the time

וּמֵעֵת֙

sacrifice shall be taken away

הוּסַ֣ר

that the daily

הַתָּמִ֔יד

set up

וְלָתֵ֖ת

and the abomination

שִׁקּ֣וּץ

that maketh desolate

שֹׁמֵ֑ם

days

יָמִ֕ים

there shall be a thousand

אֶ֖לֶף

two hundred

מָאתַ֥יִם

and ninety

וְתִשְׁעִֽים׃

Blessed

אַשְׁרֵ֥י

is he that waiteth

הַֽמְחַכֶּ֖ה

and cometh

וְיַגִּ֑יעַ

days

לְיָמִ֕ים

to the thousand

אֶ֕לֶף

three

שְׁלֹ֥שׁ

hundred

מֵא֖וֹת

and thirty

שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים

and five

וַחֲמִשָּֽׁה׃

 

וְאַתָּ֖ה

 

לֵ֣ךְ

at the end

לְקֵ֥ץ

be for thou shalt rest

וְתָנ֛וּחַ

and stand

וְתַעֲמֹ֥ד

in thy lot

לְגֹרָלְךָ֖

at the end

לְקֵ֥ץ

of the days

הַיָּמִֽין׃

 

וְאַתָּ֖ה

 

לֵ֣ךְ
