שָׁפְטֵ֤נִי

in mine integrity

בְּתֻמִּ֣י

for I have walked

הָלַ֑כְתִּי

וּבַיהוָ֥ה

I have trusted

בָּ֝טַ֗חְתִּי

therefore I shall not slide

אֶמְעָֽד׃

Examine

בְּחָנֵ֣נִי

me O LORD

and prove

וְנַסֵּ֑נִי

me try

צָרְופָ֖ה

my reins

כִלְיוֹתַ֣י

and my heart

וְלִבִּֽי׃

 

כִּֽי

For thy lovingkindness

חַ֭סְדְּךָ

 

לְנֶ֣גֶד

is before mine eyes

עֵינָ֑י

and I have walked

וְ֝הִתְהַלַּ֗כְתִּי

in thy truth

בַּאֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃

 

לֹא

I have not sat

יָ֭שַׁבְתִּי

 

עִם

persons

מְתֵי

with vain

שָׁ֑וְא

 

וְעִ֥ם

with dissemblers

נַ֝עֲלָמִ֗ים

 

לֹ֣א

neither will I go in

אָבֽוֹא׃

I have hated

שָׂ֭נֵאתִי

the congregation

קְהַ֣ל

of evil doers

מְרֵעִ֑ים

 

וְעִם

with the wicked

רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים

 

לֹ֣א

and will not sit

אֵשֵֽׁב׃

I will wash

אֶרְחַ֣ץ

in innocency

בְּנִקָּי֣וֹן

mine hands

כַּפָּ֑י

so will I compass

וַאֲסֹבְבָ֖ה

 

אֶת

thine altar

מִזְבַּחֲךָ֣

O LORD

יְהוָֽה׃

That I may publish

לַ֭שְׁמִעַ

with the voice

בְּק֣וֹל

of thanksgiving

תּוֹדָ֑ה

and tell

וּ֝לְסַפֵּ֗ר

 

כָּל

of all thy wondrous works

נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃

LORD

יְֽהוָ֗ה

I have loved

אָ֭הַבְתִּי

the habitation

מְע֣וֹן

of thy house

בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ

and the place

וּ֝מְק֗וֹם

dwelleth

מִשְׁכַּ֥ן

where thine honour

כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃

 

אַל

Gather

תֶּאֱסֹ֣ף

 

עִם

with sinners

חַטָּאִ֣ים

not my soul

נַפְשִׁ֑י

 

וְעִם

 

אַנְשֵׁ֖י

with bloody

דָמִ֣ים

nor my life

חַיָּֽי׃

 

אֲשֶׁר

In whose hands

בִּידֵיהֶ֥ם

is mischief

זִמָּ֑ה

and their right hand

וִֽ֝ימִינָ֗ם

is full

מָ֣לְאָה

of bribes

שֹּֽׁחַד׃

 

וַ֭אֲנִי

in mine integrity

בְּתֻמִּ֥י

 

אֵלֵ֗ךְ

redeem

פְּדֵ֣נִי

me and be merciful

וְחָנֵּֽנִי׃

My foot

רַ֭גְלִי

standeth

עָֽמְדָ֣ה

in an even place

בְמִישׁ֑וֹר

in the congregations

בְּ֝מַקְהֵלִ֗ים

will I bless

אֲבָרֵ֥ךְ

the LORD

יְהוָֽה׃
