Unto thee O God

אֱֽלֹהִ֗ים

do we give thanks

ה֭וֹדִינוּ

is near

וְקָר֣וֹב

for that thy name

שְׁמֶ֑ךָ

declare

סִ֝פְּר֗וּ

thy wondrous works

נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃

 

כִּ֭י

When I shall receive

אֶקַּ֣ח

the congregation

מוֹעֵ֑ד

 

אֲ֝נִ֗י

uprightly

מֵישָׁרִ֥ים

I will judge

אֶשְׁפֹּֽט׃

thereof are dissolved

נְֽמֹגִ֗ים

The earth

אֶ֥רֶץ

 

וְכָל

and all the inhabitants

יֹשְׁבֶ֑יהָ

 

אָנֹכִ֨י

I bear up

תִכַּ֖נְתִּי

the pillars

עַמּוּדֶ֣יהָ

of it Selah

סֶּֽלָה׃

I said

אָמַ֣רְתִּי

Deal not foolishly

תָּהֹ֑לּוּ

 

אַל

Deal not foolishly

תָּהֹ֑לּוּ

and to the wicked

וְ֝לָרְשָׁעִ֗ים

 

אַל

Lift not up

תָּרִ֥ימוּ

the horn

קָֽרֶן׃

 

אַל

Lift not up

תָּרִ֣ימוּ

on high

לַמָּר֣וֹם

your horn

קַרְנְכֶ֑ם

speak

תְּדַבְּר֖וּ

neck

בְצַוָּ֣אר

not with a stiff

עָתָֽק׃

 

כִּ֤י

 

לֹ֣א

cometh neither from the east

מִ֭מּוֹצָא

nor from the west

וּמִֽמַּעֲרָ֑ב

 

וְ֝לֹ֗א

nor from the south

מִמִּדְבַּ֥ר

For promotion

הָרִֽים׃

 

כִּֽי

But God

אֱלֹהִ֥ים

is the judge

שֹׁפֵ֑ט

 

זֶ֥ה

he putteth down

יַ֝שְׁפִּ֗יל

 

וְזֶ֣ה

one and setteth up

יָרִֽים׃

 

כִּ֤י

there is a cup

כ֪וֹס

For in the hand

בְּֽיַד

of the LORD

יְהוָ֡ה

and the wine

וְיַ֤יִן

is red

חָמַ֨ר׀

it is full

מָ֥לֵא

of mixture

מֶסֶךְ֮

and he poureth out

וַיַּגֵּ֪ר

of the same

מִ֫זֶּ֥ה

 

אַךְ

but the dregs

שְׁ֭מָרֶיהָ

shall wring them out

יִמְצ֣וּ

and drink

יִשְׁתּ֑וּ

 

כֹּ֝֗ל

thereof all the wicked

רִשְׁעֵי

of the earth

אָֽרֶץ׃

 

וַ֭אֲנִי

But I will declare

אַגִּ֣יד

for ever

לְעֹלָ֑ם

I will sing praises

אֲ֝זַמְּרָ֗ה

to the God

לֵאלֹהֵ֥י

of Jacob

יַעֲקֹֽב׃

 

וְכָל

All the horns

קַֽרְנ֥וֹת

of the wicked

רְשָׁעִ֣ים

also will I cut off

אֲגַדֵּ֑עַ

shall be exalted

תְּ֝רוֹמַ֗מְנָה

All the horns

קַֽרְנ֥וֹת

of the righteous

צַדִּֽיק׃
